BSB BSB: And I will bring a bit of bread so that you may refresh yourselves. This is why you have passed your servant’s way. After that, you may continue on your way.” “Yes,” they replied, “you may do as you have said.”

BSB BSB: Then Abraham brought curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and he set them before the men and stood by them under the tree as they ate.

BSB BSB: Then the LORD said, “I will surely return to you at this time next year, and your wife Sarah will have a son!” Now Sarah was behind him, listening at the entrance to the tent.
11 ULB ஆபிரகாமும் சாராளும் வயது முதிர்ந்தவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்; பெண்களுக்குரிய மாதவழிபாடு சாராளுக்கு நின்றுபோனது. BSB BSB: And Abraham and Sarah were already old and well along in years; Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.

13 ULB அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் ஆபிரகாமை நோக்கி: சாராள் சிரித்து, நான் கிழவியாக இருக்கும்போது குழந்தைபெற்றெடுப்பது சாத்தியமோ என்று சொல்வதென்ன? BSB BSB: And the LORD asked Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Can I really bear a child when I am old?’
14 ULB கர்த்தரால் ஆகாத காரியம் உண்டோ? கர்ப்பகாலத்திட்டத்தில் உன்னிடத்திற்குத் திரும்ப வருவேன்; அப்பொழுது சாராளுக்கு ஒரு மகன் இருப்பான் என்றார். BSB BSB: Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you—in about a year—and Sarah will have a son.”
15 ULB சாராள் பயந்து, நான் சிரிக்கவில்லை என்று மறுத்தாள். அதற்கு அவர்: இல்லை, நீ சிரித்தாய் என்றார். BSB BSB: But Sarah was afraid, so she denied it and said, “I did not laugh.” “No,” replied the LORD, “but you did laugh.”
16 ULB பின்பு அந்த மனிதர்கள் எழுந்து அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டு, சோதோமை நோக்கிப் போனார்கள்; ஆபிரகாமும் அவர்களோடு போய் வழியனுப்பினான். BSB BSB: When the men got up to leave, they looked out over Sodom, and Abraham walked along with them to see them off.
17 ULB அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: ஆபிரகாம் பெரிய பலத்த தேசமாவதாலும், அவனுக்குள் பூமியிலுள்ள அனைத்து தேசங்களும் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவதாலும், BSB BSB: And the LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?

BSB BSB: For I have chosen him, so that he will command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, in order that the LORD may bring upon Abraham what He has promised.”

23 ULB அப்பொழுது ஆபிரகாம் அருகில் வந்து: துன்மார்க்கனோடு நீதிமானையும் அழிப்பீரோ? BSB BSB: Abraham stepped forward and said, “Will You really sweep away the righteous with the wicked?
24 ULB பட்டணத்திற்குள் ஒருவேளை ஐம்பது நீதிமான்கள் இருப்பார்கள், அங்கேயிருக்கும் அந்த ஐம்பது நீதிமான்களுக்காகக் காப்பாற்றாமல் அந்த இடத்தை அழிப்பீரோ? BSB BSB: What if there are fifty righteous ones in the city? Will You really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous ones who are there?
26 ULB அதற்குக் கர்த்தர்: நான் சோதோமில் ஐம்பது நீதிமான்களைக் கண்டால், அவர்களுக்காக அந்த இடம் முழுவதையும் காப்பாற்றுவேன் என்றார். BSB BSB: So the LORD replied, “If I find fifty righteous ones within the city of Sodom, on their account I will spare the whole place.”
27 ULB அப்பொழுது ஆபிரகாம் மறுமொழியாக: இதோ, தூளும் சாம்பலுமாயிருக்கிற அடியேன் ஆண்டவரோடு பேசத்துணிந்தேன். BSB BSB: Then Abraham answered, “Now that I have ventured to speak to the Lord—though I am but dust and ashes—
28 ULB ஒருவேளை ஐம்பது நீதிமான்களுக்கு ஐந்துபேர் குறைந்திருப்பார்கள்; அந்த ஐந்துபேருக்காக பட்டணம் முழுவதையும் அழிப்பீரோ என்றான். அதற்கு அவர்: நான் நாற்பத்தைந்து நீதிமான்களை அங்கே கண்டால், அதை அழிப்பதில்லை என்றார். BSB BSB: suppose the fifty righteous ones lack five. Will You destroy the whole city for the lack of five?” He replied, “If I find forty-five there, I will not destroy it.”

BSB BSB: Then Abraham said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak further. Suppose thirty are found there?” He replied, “If I find thirty there, I will not do it.”

BSB BSB: And Abraham said, “Now that I have ventured to speak to the Lord, suppose twenty are found there?” He answered, “On account of the twenty, I will not destroy it.”
32 ULB அப்பொழுது அவன்: ஆண்டவருக்குக் கோபம் வராமலிருப்பதாக; நான் இன்னும் இந்த ஒருமுறைமட்டும் பேசுகிறேன்; பத்து நீதிமான்கள் அங்கே காணப்பட்டாலோ என்றான். அதற்கு அவர்: பத்து நீதிமான்களுக்காக அதை அழிப்பதில்லை என்றார். BSB BSB: Finally, Abraham said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak once more. Suppose ten are found there?” And He answered, “On account of the ten, I will not destroy it.”
33 ULB கர்த்தர் ஆபிரகாமோடு பேசிமுடிந்தபின்பு போய்விட்டார்; ஆபிரகாமும் தன்னுடைய இடத்திற்குத் திரும்பினான். BSB BSB: When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, He departed, and Abraham returned home.
