2 ULB பூமியின்மீதெங்கும் வித்தை உயிரோடு காக்கும்பொருட்டு, நீ சுத்தமான அனைத்து மிருகங்களிலும், ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக ஏழுஏழு ஜோடியும், சுத்தமில்லாத மிருகங்களில் ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக ஒவ்வொரு ஜோடியும், BSB BSB: You are to take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate; a pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate;

4 ULB இன்னும் ஏழுநாட்கள் சென்றபின்பு, நாற்பது நாட்கள் இரவும் பகலும் பூமியின்மேல் மழையைப் பெய்யச்செய்து, நான் உண்டாக்கின உயிரினங்கள் அனைத்தையும் பூமியின்மேல் இல்லாமல் அழித்துப்போடுவேன் என்றார். BSB BSB: For seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living thing I have made.”

17 ULB வெள்ளப்பெருக்கு நாற்பது நாட்கள் பூமியின்மேல் இருந்தபோது தண்ணீர் பெருகி கப்பலை மேலே எழும்பச் செய்தது; அது பூமிக்குமேல் மிதந்தது. BSB BSB: For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and the waters rose and lifted the ark high above the earth.
18 ULB தண்ணீர் பெருவெள்ளமாகி பூமியின்மேல் மிகவும் பெருகியது; கப்பலானது தண்ணீரின்மேல் மிதந்துகொண்டிருந்தது. BSB BSB: So the waters continued to surge and rise greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the waters.
19 ULB தண்ணீர் பூமியின்மேல் மிகவும் அதிகமாகப் பெருகியதால், வானத்தின்கீழ் எங்குமுள்ள உயர்ந்த மலைகளெல்லாம் மூடப்பட்டன. BSB BSB: Finally, the waters completely prevailed upon the earth, so that all the high mountains under all the heavens were covered.
20 ULB மூடப்பட்ட மலைகளுக்கு மேலாகப் பதினைந்துமுழ உயரத்திற்குத் தண்ணீர் பெருகியது. BSB BSB: The waters rose and covered the mountaintops to a depth of fifteen cubits.
21 ULB அப்பொழுது உயிரினங்களாகிய பறவைகளும், நாட்டுமிருகங்களும், காட்டுமிருகங்களும், பூமியின்மேல் ஊரும் பிராணிகள் அனைத்தும், எல்லா மனிதர்களும், பூமியின்மேல் வாழ்கிறவைகள் அனைத்தும் இறந்தன. BSB BSB: And every living thing that moved upon the earth perished—birds, livestock, animals, every creature that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind.
22 ULB நிலப்பரப்பு எல்லாவற்றிலும் இருந்த உயிருள்ள அனைத்தும் இறந்துபோயின. BSB BSB: Of all that was on dry land, everything that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.
23 ULB மனிதர்கள்முதல் மிருகங்கள், ஊரும் பிராணிகள், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள்வரை, பூமியின்மீது இருந்த உயிருள்ள அனைத்தும் அழிக்கப்பட்டு, அவைகள் பூமியில் இல்லாமல் ஒழிந்தன; நோவாவும் அவனோடு கப்பலிலிருந்த உயிர்களும் மாத்திரம் காக்கப்பட்டன. BSB BSB: And every living thing on the face of the earth was destroyed—man and livestock, crawling creatures and birds of the air; they were blotted out from the earth, and only Noah and those with him in the ark remained.
24 ULB தண்ணீர் பூமியை நூற்றைம்பது நாட்கள் மூடிக்கொண்டிருந்தது. BSB BSB: And the waters prevailed upon the earth for 150 days.
