9 ULB தண்டிப்பின் நாளிலே எப்பிராயீம் பாழாவான்; நிச்சயமாக வரப்போகிறதை இஸ்ரவேலின் கோத்திரங்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவிக்கிறேன். BSB BSB: Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel I proclaim what is certain.

BSB BSB: When Ephraim saw his sickness and Judah his wound, then Ephraim turned to Assyria and sent to the great king. But he cannot cure you or heal your wound.
14 ULB நான் எப்பிராயீமுக்குச் சிங்கம்போலவும், யூதாவின் வம்சத்தாருக்குப் பாலசிங்கம்போலவும் இருப்பேன்; நான் நானே காயப்படுத்திவிட்டுப் போய்விடுவேன்; தப்புவிப்பார் இல்லாமல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போவேன். BSB BSB: For I am like a lion to Ephraim and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them to pieces and then go away. I will carry them off where no one can rescue them.
15 ULB அவர்கள் தங்கள் குற்றங்களை உணர்ந்து, என் முகத்தைத் தேடும்வரை நான் என் இடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப் போய்விடுவேன்; தங்கள் ஆபத்தில் என்னைக் கருத்தாகத் தேடுவார்கள். BSB BSB: Then I will return to My place until they admit their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”
