1 ULB கொள்ளையிடப்படாமலிருந்தும், கொள்ளையிடுகிறவனும், துரோகம் செய்யாதிருக்கிறவர்களுக்குத் துரோகம் செய்கிறவனுமாகிய உனக்கு ஐயோ! நீ கொள்ளையிட்டு முடிந்தபின்பு கொள்ளையிடப்படுவாய்; நீ துரோகம் செய்துமுடிந்தபின்பு உனக்குத் துரோகம்செய்வார்கள். BSB BSB: Woe to you, O destroyer never destroyed, O traitor never betrayed! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you have finished betraying, you will be betrayed.
2 ULB கர்த்தாவே, எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும், உமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறோம்; தேவரீர் காலையில் அவர்களுடைய புயமும், இக்கட்டுக்காலத்தில் எங்கள் இரட்சிப்புமாயிரும். BSB BSB: O LORD, be gracious to us! We wait for You. Be our strength every morning and our salvation in time of trouble.

5 ULB கர்த்தர் உயர்ந்தவர், அவர் உன்னதத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவர் சீயோனை நியாயத்தினாலும் நீதியினாலும் நிரப்புகிறார். BSB BSB: The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
6 ULB பூரண இரட்சிப்பும் ஞானமும் அறிவும் உன் காலங்களுடைய உறுதியாயிருக்கும்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே அதின் பொக்கிஷம். BSB BSB: He will be the sure foundation for your times, a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure.
7 ULB இதோ, அவர்களுடைய பராக்கிரமசாலிகள் வெளியிலே அலறுகிறார்கள்; சமாதானத்து பிரதிநிதிகள் மனங்கசந்து அழுகிறார்கள். BSB BSB: Behold, their valiant ones cry aloud in the streets; the envoys of peace weep bitterly.
8 ULB பாதைகள் பாழாயின; வழிப்போக்கர்கள் இல்லை; உடன்படிக்கையை மீறுகிறான்; நகரங்களை இகழுகிறான்; மனிதனை மதிக்காமல் போகிறான். BSB BSB: The highways are deserted; travel has ceased. The treaty has been broken, the witnesses are despised, and human life is disregarded.
9 ULB தேசம் துக்கித்து சோர்வடைந்திருக்கிறது; லீபனோன் வெட்கி வாடுகிறது; சாரோன் வனாந்திரத்திற்கு ஒப்பாகிறது; பாசானும் கர்மேலும் பாழாக்கப்படுகிறது. BSB BSB: The land mourns and languishes; Lebanon is ashamed and decayed. Sharon is like a desert; Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.
10 ULB இப்பொழுது எழுந்தருளுவேன், இப்பொழுது உயருவேன், இப்பொழுது மேன்மைப்படுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறார். BSB BSB: “Now I will arise,” says the LORD. “Now I will lift Myself up. Now I will be exalted.
11 ULB பதரைக் கர்ப்பந்தரித்து வைக்கோலைப் பெறுவீர்கள்; நெருப்பைப்போல் உங்கள் சுவாசமே உங்களை சுட்டெரிக்கும். BSB BSB: You conceive chaff; you give birth to stubble. Your breath is a fire that will consume you.
12 ULB மக்கள் சுண்ணாம்பைப்போல நீர்த்துப்போவார்கள்; வெட்டப்பட்ட முட்செடிகளைப்போலத் தீயில் எரிக்கப்படுவார்கள். BSB BSB: The peoples will be burned to ashes, like thorns cut down and set ablaze.
13 ULB தூரத்திலுள்ளவர்களே, நான் செய்கிறதைக் கேளுங்கள்; சமீபத்திலிருக்கிறவர்களே, என் பராக்கிரமத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள் என்கிறார். BSB BSB: You who are far off, hear what I have done; you who are near, acknowledge My might.”
14 ULB சீயோனிலுள்ள பாவிகள் திகைக்கிறார்கள்; மாயக்காரர்களை நடுக்கம்பிடிக்கிறது; சுட்டெரிக்கும் நெருப்பிற்கு முன்பாக நம்மில் தங்கியிருப்பவன் யார்? நிலையான நெருப்புத்தழலுக்கு முன்பாக நம்மில் குடியிருப்பவன் யார் என்கிறார்கள். BSB BSB: The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling grips the ungodly: “Who of us can dwell with a consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting flames?”

16 ULB அவன் உயர்ந்த இடங்களில் குடியிருப்பான்; கன்மலைகளின் பாதுகாப்பு அவனுடைய உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமாகும்; அவனுடைய உணவு அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்; அவனுடைய தண்ணீர் அவனுக்கு நிச்சயமாகக் கிடைக்கும். BSB BSB: he will dwell on the heights; the mountain fortress will be his refuge; his food will be provided and his water assured.
17 ULB உன் கண்கள் ராஜாவை மகிமை பொருந்தினவராகக் காணும், தூரத்திலுள்ள தேசத்தையும் பார்க்கும். BSB BSB: Your eyes will see the King in His beauty and behold a land that stretches afar.
18 ULB உன் மனம் பயங்கரத்தை நினைவுகூரும்; கணக்காளன் எங்கே? தண்டல்காரன் எங்கே? கோபுரங்களை எண்ணினவன் எங்கே? BSB BSB: Your mind will ponder the former terror: “Where is he who tallies? Where is he who weighs? Where is he who counts the towers?”
19 ULB உனக்குப் புரியாத மொழியையும், புரிந்துகொள்வதற்குக் கடினமான ஒருவிதமான பேச்சையுமுடைய அந்தக் கொடூர மக்களை இனி நீ பார்க்கமாட்டாய். BSB BSB: You will no longer see the insolent, a people whose speech is unintelligible, who stammer in a language you cannot understand.
20 ULB நம்முடைய பண்டிகைகள் அனுசரிக்கப்படும் நகரமாகிய சீயோனை நோக்கிப்பார்; உன் கண்கள் எருசலேமை அமைதலான குடியிருப்பாகவும், பெயர்க்கப்படாத கூடாரமாகவும் காணும்; இனி அதின் முளைகள் என்றைக்கும் பிடுங்கப்படுவதுமில்லை, அதின் கயிறுகளில் ஒன்றும் அறுந்துபோவதுமில்லை. BSB BSB: Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful pasture, a tent that does not wander; its tent pegs will not be pulled up, nor will any of its cords be broken.
21 ULB மகிமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் அங்கே நமக்கு மிக அகலமான நதிகளும் ஆறுகளுமுள்ள இடம் போலிருப்பார்; தண்டுவலிக்கிற படகு அங்கே ஓடுவதும் இல்லை; பெரிய கப்பல் அங்கே கடந்துவருவதும் இல்லை. BSB BSB: But there the Majestic One, our LORD, will be for us a place of rivers and wide canals, where no galley with oars will row, and no majestic vessel will pass.
22 ULB கர்த்தர் நம்முடைய நியாயாதிபதி, கர்த்தர் நம்முடைய நியாயப்பிரமாணிகர், கர்த்தர் நம்முடைய ராஜா, அவர் நம்மை காப்பாற்றுவார். BSB BSB: For the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our King. It is He who will save us.
23 ULB உன் கயிறுகள் தளர்ந்துபோகும்; பாய்மரத்தைப் பலப்படுத்தவும், பாயை விரிக்கவும் முடியாமற்போகும்; அப்பொழுது திரளான கொள்ளைப்பொருள் பங்கிடப்படும்; சப்பாணிகளும் கொள்ளையிடுவார்கள். BSB BSB: Your ropes are slack; they cannot secure the mast or spread the sail. Then an abundance of spoils will be divided, and even the lame will carry off plunder.
24 ULB வியாதிப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன் என்று நகரவாசிகள் சொல்வதில்லை; அதில் குடியிருக்கிற மக்களின் அக்கிரமம் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். BSB BSB: And no resident of Zion will say, “I am sick.” The people who dwell there will be forgiven of iniquity.
