3 ULB ஆரம்பகாலத்தில் நடந்தவைகளை ஆரம்பம்முதல் அறிவித்தேன், அவைகள் என் வாயிலிருந்து பிறந்தன, அவைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தினேன்; அவைகளை உடனடியாகச் செய்தேன், அவைகள் நடந்தன. BSB BSB: I foretold the former things long ago; they came out of My mouth and I proclaimed them. Suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.
4 ULB நீ கடினமுள்ளவனென்றும், உன் பிடரி நரம்பு இரும்பென்றும், உன் நெற்றி வெண்கலமென்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன். BSB BSB: For I knew that you are stubborn; your neck is iron and your forehead is bronze.
5 ULB ஆகையால்: என் சிலை அவைகளைச் செய்ததென்றும், நான் செய்த உருவமும், நான் வார்ப்பித்த சிலையும் அவைகளைக் கட்டளையிட்டதென்றும் நீ சொல்லாதபடிக்கு, நான் அவைகளை முன்னமே உனக்கு அறிவித்து, அவைகள் வராததற்கு முன்னே உனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினேன். BSB BSB: Therefore I declared it to you long ago; I announced it before it came to pass, so that you could not claim, ‘My idol has done this; my carved image and molten god has ordained it.’
6 ULB அவைகளைக் கேள்விப்பட்டாயே, அவைகளையெல்லாம் பார், இப்பொழுது நீங்களும் அவைகளை அறிவிக்கலாமல்லவோ? இதுமுதல் புதியவைகளையும், நீ அறியாத மறைபொருளானவைகளையும் உனக்குத் தெரிவிக்கிறேன். BSB BSB: You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not acknowledge them? From now on I will tell you of new things, hidden things unknown to you.

8 ULB நீ கேள்விப்படவுமில்லை, அறியவுமில்லை; ஆதிமுதல் உன் செவி திறந்திருக்கவுமில்லை; நீ துரோகம் செய்வாய் என்பதையும், தாயின் கர்ப்பத்திலிருந்தே நீ மீறுகிறவனென்று பெயர் பெற்றதையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன். BSB BSB: You have never heard; you have never understood; for a long time your ears have not been open. For I knew how deceitful you are; you have been called a rebel from birth.
9 ULB என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் என் கோபத்தை நிறுத்திவைத்தேன்; உன்னை அழிக்காதபடி நான் என் புகழ்ச்சியினிமித்தம் உன்மேல் பொறுமையாக இருப்பேன். BSB BSB: For the sake of My name I will delay My wrath; for the sake of My praise I will restrain it, so that you will not be cut off.
10 ULB இதோ, உன்னைப் புடமிட்டேன்; ஆனாலும் வெள்ளியைப்போல் அல்ல, உபத்திரவத்தின் குகையிலே உன்னைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன். BSB BSB: See, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.
11 ULB என்னிமித்தம், என்னிமித்தமே, அப்படிச் செய்வேன்; என் நாமத்தின் பரிசுத்தம் எப்படிக் குலைக்கப்படலாம்? என் மகிமையை நான் வேறொருவருக்கும் கொடுக்கமாட்டேன். BSB BSB: For My own sake, My very own sake, I will act; for how can I let Myself be defamed? I will not yield My glory to another.
12 ULB யாக்கோபே, நான் அழைத்திருக்கிற இஸ்ரவேலே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடு; நான் அவரே, நான் முந்தினவரும், நான் பிந்தினவருமாமே. BSB BSB: Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I have called: I am He; I am the first, and I am the last.
13 ULB என் கரமே பூமியை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தி, என் வலதுகை வானங்களை அளவிட்டது; நான் அவைகளுக்குக் கட்டளையிட, அவைகள் அனைத்தும் நிற்கும். BSB BSB: Surely My own hand founded the earth, and My right hand spread out the heavens; when I summon them, they stand up together.
14 ULB நீங்களெல்லோரும் கூடிவந்து கேளுங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமானவன் அவருக்குச் சித்தமானதைப் பாபிலோனில் செய்வான்; அவன் புயம் கல்தேயரின்மேல் இருக்கும் என்பதை இவர்களில் அறிவித்தவன் யார்? BSB BSB: Come together, all of you, and listen: Which of the idols has foretold these things? The LORD’s chosen ally will carry out His desire against Babylon, and His arm will be against the Chaldeans.
15 ULB நான், நானே அதைச் சொன்னேன்; நான் அவனை அழைத்தேன்; நான் அவனை வரச்செய்தேன்; அவன் வழி வாய்க்கும். BSB BSB: I, even I, have spoken; yes, I have called him. I have brought him, and he will succeed in his mission.
16 ULB நீங்கள் என் சமீபத்தில் வந்து, நான் சொல்வதைக் கேளுங்கள்; நான் ஆதிமுதற்கொண்டு இரகசியமாகப் பேசவில்லை; அது உண்டான காலத்திலிருந்தே அங்கே நான் இருந்தேன்; இப்பொழுதோ கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரும், அவருடைய ஆவியும் என்னை அனுப்புகிறார். BSB BSB: Come near to Me and listen to this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time it happened, I was there.” And now the Lord GOD has sent me, accompanied by His Spirit.
17 ULB இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தராயிருக்கிற உன் மீட்பரான கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறதாவது: பிரயோஜனமாயிருக்கிறதை உனக்குப் போதித்து, நீ நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியிலே உன்னை நடத்துகிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே. BSB BSB: Thus says the LORD your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who directs you in the way you should go.
18 ULB ஆ, என் கற்பனைகளைக் கவனித்தாயானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது உன் சமாதானம் நதியைப்போலும், உன் நீதி கடலின் அலைகளைப்போலும் இருக்கும். BSB BSB: If only you had paid attention to My commandments, your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like waves of the sea.
19 ULB அப்பொழுது உன் சந்ததி மணலைப் போலவும், உன் கர்ப்பப்பிறப்பு அதின் துகள்களைப் போலவும் இருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது அதின் பெயர் நம்மை விட்டு அற்றுப்போகாமலும் அழிக்கப்படாமலும் இருக்கும். BSB BSB: Your descendants would have been as countless as the sand, and your offspring as numerous as its grains; their name would never be cut off or eliminated from My presence.”
20 ULB பாபிலோனிலிருந்து புறப்படுங்கள்; கல்தேயரைவிட்டு ஓடிவாருங்கள்; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபை மீட்டுக்கொண்டாரென்று சொல்லுங்கள்; இதைக் கெம்பீரசத்தமாகக் கூறிப் பிரபலப்படுத்துங்கள், பூமியின் கடையாந்தரவரை வெளிப்படுத்துங்கள் என்கிறார். BSB BSB: Leave Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! Declare it with a shout of joy, proclaim it, let it go out to the ends of the earth, saying, “The LORD has redeemed His servant Jacob!”
21 ULB அவர் அவர்களை வனாந்திரங்களில் நடத்தும்போது, அவர்களுக்குத் தாகம் இருந்ததில்லை; கன்மலையிலிருந்து தண்ணீரை அவர்களுக்குச் சுரக்கச்செய்தார், கன்மலையைப் பிளந்தார், தண்ணீர் ஓடிவந்தது. BSB BSB: They did not thirst when He led them through the deserts; He made water flow for them from the rock; He split the rock, and water gushed out.
22 ULB துன்மார்க்கர்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் இல்லையென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறார். BSB BSB: “There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.”
