2 ULB ஆமோனுடைய மகனாகிய யோசியா என்கிற யூதாவுடைய ராஜாவின் நாட்களில், அவன் அரசாண்ட பதின்மூன்றாம் வருடத்தில் எரேமியாவுக்குக் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை உண்டானது. BSB BSB: The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah in the thirteenth year of the reign of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah,

11 ULB பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி அவர்: எரேமியாவே, நீ என்னத்தைக் காண்கிறாய் என்று கேட்டார்; வாதுமை மரத்தின் கிளையைக் காண்கிறேன் என்றேன். BSB BSB: And the word of the LORD came to me, asking, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” “I see a branch of an almond tree,” I replied.
12 ULB அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: நீ கண்டது சரியே; என் வார்த்தையைத் துரிதமாக நிறைவேற்றுவேன் என்றார். BSB BSB: “You have observed correctly,” said the LORD, “for I am watching over My word to accomplish it.”
13 ULB கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை இரண்டாம்முறை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: நீ காண்கிறது என்ன என்று கேட்டார்; பொங்குகிற பானையைக் காண்கிறேன், அதின் வாய் வடக்கேயிருந்து நோக்குகிறது என்றேன். BSB BSB: Again the word of the LORD came to me, asking, “What do you see?” “I see a boiling pot,” I replied, “and it is tilting toward us from the north.”
14 ULB அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: வடக்கேயிருந்து தீங்கு தேசத்தினுடைய குடிமக்கள் எல்லோர் மேலும் வரும். BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to me, “Disaster from the north will be poured out on all who live in the land.

BSB BSB: For I am about to summon all the clans and kingdoms of the north,” declares the LORD. “Their kings will come and set up their thrones at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem. BSB BSB: Get yourself ready. Stand up and tell them everything that I command you. Do not be intimidated by them, or I will terrify you before them.
18 ULB இதோ, தேசம் முழுவதற்கும், யூதாவின் ராஜாக்களுக்கும், அதின் பிரபுக்களுக்கும், அதின் ஆசாரியர்களுக்கும், தேசத்தின் மக்களுக்கும் எதிராக நான் உன்னை இன்றையதினம் பாதுகாப்பான பட்டணமும், இரும்புத்தூணும், வெண்கல மதிலும் ஆக்கினேன். BSB BSB: Now behold, this day I have made you like a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land.
