7 ULB தேசங்களின் ராஜாவே, உமக்குப் பயப்படாதிருப்பவன் யார்? தேவரீர் ஒருவருக்கே பயப்படவேண்டியது; மக்களுடைய எல்லா ஞானிகளிலும், அவர்களுடைய எல்லா தேசத்திலும் உமக்கு ஒப்பானவன் இல்லை. BSB BSB: Who would not fear You, O King of nations? This is Your due. For among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like You.
8 ULB அவர்கள் அனைவரும் மிருககுணமும் மதியீனமுமுள்ளவர்கள்; அந்தக் கட்டை மாயையான போதகமாயிருக்கிறது. BSB BSB: But they are altogether senseless and foolish, instructed by worthless idols made of wood!

BSB BSB: Hammered silver is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz—the work of a craftsman from the hands of a goldsmith. Their clothes are blue and purple, all fashioned by skilled workers.
10 ULB கர்த்தரோ மெய்யான தெய்வம்; அவர் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவன், நித்திய ராஜா; அவருடைய கோபத்தினால் பூமி அதிரும்; அவருடைய கடுங்கோபத்தை மக்கள் சகிக்கமாட்டார்கள். BSB BSB: But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God and eternal King. The earth quakes at His wrath, and the nations cannot endure His indignation.
11 ULB வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்காத தெய்வங்கள், பூமியிலும் இந்த வானத்தின்கீழும் இராமல் அழிந்துபோகும் என்பதை அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள். BSB BSB: Thus you are to tell them: “These gods, who have made neither the heavens nor the earth, will perish from this earth and from under these heavens.”

BSB BSB: Every man is senseless and devoid of knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols. For his molten images are a fraud, and there is no breath in them.

BSB BSB: The Portion of Jacob is not like these, for He is the Maker of all things, and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance—the LORD of Hosts is His name.
17 ULB கோட்டையில் குடியிருக்கிறவளே, தேசத்திலிருந்து உன் பொருள்களைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள். BSB BSB: Gather up your belongings from this land, you who live under siege.

21 ULB மேய்ப்பர்கள் மிருககுணமுள்ளவர்களாகி, கர்த்தரைத் தேடாமல் போனார்கள்; ஆகையால், அவர்கள் காரியம் வாய்க்காமற்போய், அவர்கள் மந்தையெல்லாம் சிதறடிக்கப்பட்டது. BSB BSB: For the shepherds have become senseless; they do not seek the LORD. Therefore they have not prospered, and all their flock is scattered.
22 ULB இதோ, யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களை அழித்து வலுசர்ப்பங்களின் தங்கும் இடமாக்கிப்போடும் செய்தியின் சத்தமும், வடதேசத்திலிருந்து பெரிய கொந்தளிப்பும் வருகிறது. BSB BSB: Listen! The sound of a report is coming—a great commotion from the land to the north. It will make the cities of Judah a desolation, a haunt for jackals.
23 ULB கர்த்தாவே, மனிதனுடைய வழி அவனால் ஆகிறதல்லவென்றும், தன் நடைகளை நடத்துவது நடக்கிறவனால் ஆகிறதல்லவென்றும் அறிவேன். BSB BSB: I know, O LORD, that a man’s way is not his own; no one who walks directs his own steps.
24 ULB கர்த்தாவே, என்னைத் தண்டியும்; ஆனாலும் நான் அவமானப்படாமலிருக்க உம்முடைய கோபத்தினால் அல்ல, குறைவாகத் தண்டியும். BSB BSB: Correct me, O LORD, but only with justice—not in Your anger, or You will bring me to nothing.

BSB BSB: Pour out Your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge You, and on the families that do not call on Your name. For they have devoured Jacob; they have consumed him and finished him off; they have devastated his homeland.
