BSB BSB: For the LORD will destroy Babylon; He will silence her mighty voice. The waves will roar like great waters; the tumult of their voices will resound.

Then they will fall asleep forever and not wake up,” declares the King, whose name is the LORD of Hosts.
58 ULB பாபிலோனின் அகலமான மதில்கள் முற்றிலும் தரையாக்கப்பட்டு, அதின் உயரமான இடங்கள் நெருப்பால் சுட்டெரிக்கப்படும்; அப்படியே மக்கள் பிரயாசப்பட்டது வீணும், மக்கள் வருத்தப்பட்டுச் சம்பாதித்தது நெருப்புக்கு இரையுமாகும் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். BSB BSB: This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Babylon’s thick walls will be leveled, and her high gates consumed by fire. So the labor of the people will be for nothing; the nations will exhaust themselves to fuel the flames.”
59 ULB பாபிலோன்மேல் வரும் எல்லாத் தீங்கையும், பாபிலோனுக்கு விரோதமாக எழுதப்பட்ட இந்த எல்லா வசனங்களையும் எரேமியா ஒரு புத்தகத்தில் எழுதினான். BSB BSB: This is the message that Jeremiah the prophet gave to the quartermaster Seraiah son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went to Babylon with King Zedekiah of Judah in the fourth year of Zedekiah’s reign.
60 ULB யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய சிதேக்கியா அரசாட்சிசெய்யும் நான்காம் வருடத்தில் பாபிலோனுக்குப் போன சமயத்தில் அவனுடன்போன மசெயாவின் மகனாகிய நேரியாவின் மகனும் சாந்தகுணமுள்ள பிரபுவுமாகிய செராயாவுக்கு எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசி கற்பித்த வார்த்தை. BSB BSB: Jeremiah had written on a single scroll about all the disaster that would come upon Babylon—all these words that had been written concerning Babylon.
61 ULB எரேமியா செராயாவை நோக்கி: நீ பாபிலோனுக்கு வந்தபின்பு நீ இதைப் பார்த்து, இந்த எல்லா வசனங்களையும் வாசித்துச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: BSB BSB: And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, “When you get to Babylon, see that you read all these words aloud,

BSB BSB: Then you are to say, ‘In the same way Babylon will sink and never rise again, because of the disaster I will bring upon her. And her people will grow weary.’” Here end the words of Jeremiah.
