Joshua 18 (ULB)

1இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் சபையெல்லாம் சீலோவிலே கூடி, அங்கே ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தை அமைத்தார்கள். தேசம் அவர்களின் வசமானது.Then the whole congregation of Israel assembled at Shiloh and set up the Tent of Meeting there. And though the land was subdued before them,

4கோத்திரத்திற்கு மும்மூன்று மனிதர்களைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; அவர்கள் எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, தேசத்திலே சுற்றித்திரிந்து அதைத் தங்கள் பங்குகளுக்குத்தக்கதாக விபரமாக எழுதி, என்னிடம் கொண்டுவரும்படி அவர்களை அனுப்புவேன்.Appoint three men from each tribe, and I will send them out to survey the land and map it out, according to the inheritance of each. Then they will return to me

5அதை ஏழு பங்குகளாகப் பங்கிடுவார்கள்; யூதா வம்சத்தார்கள் தெற்கே இருக்கிற தங்களுடைய எல்லையிலும், யோசேப்பு வம்சத்தார்கள் வடக்கே இருக்கிற தங்களுடைய எல்லையிலும் நிலைத்திருக்கட்டும்.and divide the land into seven portions. Judah shall remain in their territory in the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory in the north.

6நீங்கள் தேசத்தை ஏழு பங்குகளாக விவரித்து எழுதி, இங்கே என்னிடம் கொண்டுவாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இந்த இடத்திலே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போடுவேன்.When you have mapped out the seven portions of land and brought it to me, I will cast lots for you here in the presence of the LORD our God.

7லேவியர்களுக்கு உங்கள் நடுவே பங்கு இல்லை; கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியத்துவமே அவர்களின் பங்கு; காத்தும் ரூபனும் மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரமும் யோர்தானுக்கு மறுபுறத்திலே கிழக்கே கர்த்தரின் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசே தங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தங்கள் பங்குகளைப் பெற்றுவிட்டார்கள் என்றான்.The Levites, however, have no portion among you, because their inheritance is the priesthood of the LORD. And Gad, Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh have already received the inheritance that Moses the servant of the LORD gave them beyond the Jordan to the east.”

8அப்பொழுது அந்த மனிதர்கள் எழுந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்; தேசத்தைக் குறித்து விபரம் எழுதப்போகிறவர்களை யோசுவா நோக்கி: நீங்கள் போய், தேசத்திலே சுற்றித்திரிந்து, அதின் விபரத்தை எழுதி, என்னிடம் திரும்பிவாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இங்கே சீலோவிலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போடுவேன் என்று சொன்னான்.As the men got up to go out, Joshua commanded them to map out the land, saying, “Go and survey the land, map it out, and return to me. Then I will cast lots for you here in Shiloh in the presence of the LORD.”

Then they returned with the document to Joshua at the camp in Shiloh.

10அப்பொழுது யோசுவா அவர்களுக்காகச் சீலோவிலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் சீட்டுப்போட்டு, அங்கே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் பங்குவீதப்படி அவர்களுக்கு தேசத்தைப் பங்கிட்டான்.And Joshua cast lots for them in the presence of the LORD at Shiloh, where he distributed the land to the Israelites according to their divisions.

11பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படியே அவர்களுக்குச் சீட்டு விழுந்தது; அவர்கள் பங்கு வீதத்தின் எல்லையானது யூதா வம்சத்தார்களுக்கும் யோசேப்பு வம்சத்தார்களுக்கும் நடுவில் இருந்தது.The first lot came up for the clans of the tribe of Benjamin. Their allotted territory lay between the tribes of Judah and Joseph:

12அவர்களுடைய வட எல்லை, யோர்தானிலிருந்து வந்து, எரிகோவிற்கு வடக்குப் பக்கமாகச் சென்று, அதன்பின் மேற்கே மலையில் ஏறி, பெத்தாவேன் வனாந்திரத்தில் போய் முடியும்.On the north side their border began at the Jordan, went up past the northern slope of Jericho, headed west through the hill country, and came out at the wilderness of Beth-aven.

14அங்கேயிருந்து எல்லை மேற்குமூலைக்குப் பெத்தொரோனுக்கு எதிரே தெற்காக இருக்கிற மலைக்குத் தென்புறமாகப் போய்த் திரும்பி, கீரியாத்பாகால் என்னப்பட்ட யூதா கோத்திரத்தார்களின் பட்டணமாகிய கீரியாத்யெயாரீம் அருகே போய் முடியும்; இது மேற்கு எல்லை.On the west side the border curved southward from the hill facing Beth-horon on the south and came out at Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), a city of the sons of Judah. This was the western side.

This was the southern border.

20கிழக்குப்புறத்தின் எல்லை யோர்தானே; இது பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தார்களுக்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற எல்லைகளுக்குள்ளான பங்குகள்.On the east side the border was the Jordan. These were the borders around the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin.

21பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி இருக்கிற பட்டணங்களாவன: எரிகோ, பெத்ஓக்லா, கேசீஸ் பள்ளத்தாக்கு,These were the cities of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin: Jericho, Beth-hoglah, Emek-keziz,

22பெத்அரபா, செமராயிம், பெத்தேல்,Beth-arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel,

23ஆவீம், பாரா. ஓப்ரா,Avvim, Parah, Ophrah,

24கேப்பார்அமோனாய், ஒப்னி, காபா என்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பட்டணங்களும் அவைகளின் கிராமங்களுமே.Chephar-ammoni, Ophni, and Geba—twelve cities, along with their villages.

25கிபியோன், ராமா, பேரோத்,Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth,

26மிஸ்பே, கெப்பிரா, மோத்சா,Mizpeh, Chephirah, Mozah,

27ரெக்கேம், இர்பெயெல், தாராலா,Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah,

28சேலா, ஏலேப், எருசலேமாகிய எபூசி, கீபெயாத், கீரேயாத் என்னும் பதினான்கு பட்டணங்களும் அவைகளின் கிராமங்களுமே; பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி இருக்கிற பங்குகள் இவைகளே.Zelah, Haeleph, Jebus (that is, Jerusalem), Gibeah, and Kiriath-jearim—fourteen cities, along with their villages. This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin.
