Joshua 21 (ULB)

1அப்பொழுது லேவியர்களின் வம்சப்பிதாக்களின் தலைவர்கள்; கானான்தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற சீலோவிலே ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரிடமும், நூனின் மகனாகிய யோசுவாவிடமும், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுடைய கோத்திரப் பிதாக்களில் உள்ள தலைவர்களிடமும் வந்து:Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribes of Israel

2நாங்கள் குடியிருக்கும் பட்டணங்களையும், எங்களுடைய மிருகஜீவனுக்காக வெளிநிலங்களையும் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி, கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கட்டளையிட்டாரே என்றார்கள்.at Shiloh in the land of Canaan and said to them, “The LORD commanded through Moses that we be given cities in which to live, together with pasturelands for our livestock.”

The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.

None of their enemies could stand against them, for the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
