You must not walk in their customs.
4 ULB என்னுடைய நியாயங்களின்படி செய்து, என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு நடங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். BSB BSB: You are to practice My judgments and keep My statutes by walking in them. I am the LORD your God.
5 ULB ஆகையால் என் கட்டளைகளையும் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொள்ளக்கடவீர்கள்; அவைகளின்படி செய்கிறவன் எவனும் அவைகளால் பிழைப்பான்; நான் கர்த்தர். BSB BSB: Keep My statutes and My judgments, for the man who does these things will live by them. I am the LORD.
7 ULB உன் தகப்பனையாவது உன் தாயையாவது நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அவள் உன் தாயானவள்; அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது. BSB BSB: You must not expose the nakedness of your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; you must not have sexual relations with her.
8 ULB உன் தகப்பனுடைய மனைவியை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அது உன் தகப்பனுடைய நிர்வாணம். BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your father’s wife; it would dishonor your father.
9 ULB உன் தகப்பனுக்காவது உன் தாய்க்காவது வீட்டிலோ வெளியிலோ பிறந்த மகளாகிய உன் சகோதரியை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.
10 ULB உன் மகனுடைய மகளையாவது உன் மகளுடைய மகளையாவது நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அது உன்னுடைய நிர்வாணம். BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, for that would shame your family.
11 ULB உன் தகப்பனுடைய மனைவியிடத்தில் உன் தகப்பனுக்குப் பிறந்த மகளை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அவள் உனக்குச் சகோதரி. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father’s wife, born to your father; she is your sister.
12 ULB உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரியை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அவள் உன் தகப்பனுக்கு நெருங்கின உறவானவள். BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your father’s sister; she is your father’s close relative.
13 ULB உன் தாயினுடைய சகோதரியை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அவள் உன் தாய்க்கு நெருங்கின உறவானவள். BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s close relative.
14 ULB உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரனை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அவன் மனைவியைச் சேராதே; அவள் உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரி. BSB BSB: You must not dishonor your father’s brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations with her; she is your aunt.
15 ULB உன் மருமகளை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அவள் உன் மகனுக்கு மனைவி, அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife; you are not to have sexual relations with her.
16 ULB உன் சகோதரனுடைய மனைவியை நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அது உன் சகோதரனுடைய நிர்வாணம். BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife; that would shame your brother.
17 ULB ஒரு பெண்ணையும் அவளுடைய மகளையும் நிர்வாணமாக்கக்கூடாது; அவளுடைய மகன்களின் மகளையும் மகளின் மகளையும் நிர்வாணமாக்கும்படி திருமணம் செய்யக்கூடாது; இவர்கள் அவளுக்கு நெருங்கின உறவானவர்கள்; அது முறைகேடு. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. You are not to marry her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter and have sexual relations with her. They are close relatives; it is depraved.
18 ULB உன் மனைவி உயிரோடிருக்கும்போது அவளுக்கு உபத்திரவமாக அவள் சகோதரியையும் நிர்வாணமாக்குவதற்காக அவளைத் திருமணம் செய்யக்கூடாது. BSB BSB: You must not take your wife’s sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is still alive.
19 ULB பெண்ணானவள் மாதவிலக்கால் விலக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்போது, அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்க அவளோடே சேராதே. BSB BSB: You must not approach a woman to have sexual relations with her during her menstrual period.
20 ULB பிறனுடைய மனைவியோடே சேர்ந்து உடலுறவுகொண்டு, அவள்மூலம் உன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளவேண்டாம். BSB BSB: You must not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife and thus defile yourself with her.
22 ULB பெண்ணோடு உடலுறவு செய்வதுபோல ஆணோடே உடலுறவு செய்யவேண்டாம்; அது அருவருப்பானது. BSB BSB: You must not lie with a man as with a woman; that is an abomination.
23 ULB எந்தவொரு மிருகத்தோடும் நீ உடலுறவுகொண்டு, அதினாலே உன்னைத்தீட்டுப்படுத்த வேண்டாம்; பெண்ணானவள் மிருகத்தோடே உடலுறவுகொள்ள ஏதுவாக அதற்கு முன்பாக நிற்கக்கூடாது; அது அருவருப்பான தாறுமாறு. BSB BSB: You must not lie carnally with any animal, thus defiling yourself with it; a woman must not stand before an animal to mate with it; that is a perversion.
25 ULB ஆகையால் அதின் அக்கிரமத்தை விசாரிப்பேன்; தேசம் தன் மக்களை புறக்கணித்துவிடும். BSB BSB: Even the land has become defiled, so I am punishing it for its sin, and the land will vomit out its inhabitants.
26 ULB இந்த அருவருப்புகளையெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குமுன் இருந்த அந்த தேசத்தின் மனிதர்கள் செய்ததினாலே தேசம் தீட்டானது. BSB BSB: But you are to keep My statutes and ordinances, and you must not commit any of these abominations—neither your native-born nor the foreigner who lives among you.
27 ULB இப்பொழுதும் உங்களுக்கு முன் இருந்த மக்களை தேசம் புறக்கணித்ததைப்போல, நீங்கள் அதைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்போது அது உங்களையும் புறக்கணிக்காதிருக்க, BSB BSB: For the men who were in the land before you committed all these abominations, and the land has become defiled.
28 ULB நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகளையும் என் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொண்டு, தேசத்திலே பிறந்தவனானாலும் உங்கள் நடுவே தங்குகிற அந்நியனானாலும் இந்த அருவருப்புகளில் ஒன்றையும் செய்யவேண்டாம். BSB BSB: So if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it spewed out the nations before you.
29 ULB இப்படிபட்ட அருவருப்பானவைகளில் ஒன்றையாவது யாராவது செய்தால், செய்த அந்த ஆத்துமாக்கள் மக்களுக்குள் இல்லாதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டு போவார்கள். BSB BSB: Therefore anyone who commits any of these abominations must be cut off from among his people.

BSB BSB: You must keep My charge not to practice any of the abominable customs that were practiced before you, so that you do not defile yourselves by them. I am the LORD your God.”
