BSB BSB: So when you give to the needy, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.

5 ULB அன்றியும் நீ ஜெபம்செய்யும்போது மாயக்காரர்களைப்போல இருக்கவேண்டாம்; மனிதர்கள் பார்க்கும்படியாக அவர்கள் ஜெபஆலயங்களிலும் வீதிகளின் முற்சந்திகளிலும் நின்று ஜெபம்செய்ய விரும்புகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பலனை அடைந்து தீர்ந்ததென்று உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். BSB BSB: And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.

BSB BSB: But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
7 ULB அன்றியும் நீங்கள் ஜெபம்செய்யும்போது, தேவனை அறியாதவர்களைப்போல வீண்வார்த்தைகளைத் திரும்பத்திரும்ப பேசாதிருங்கள்; அவர்கள், அதிக வார்த்தைகளினால் தங்களுடைய ஜெபம் கேட்கப்படுமென்று நினைக்கிறார்கள். BSB BSB: And when you pray, do not babble on like pagans, for they think that by their many words they will be heard.

9 ULB நீங்கள் ஜெபம் செய்யவேண்டிய விதமாவது: பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற எங்களுடைய பிதாவே, உம்முடைய நாமம் பரிசுத்தப்படுவதாக. BSB BSB: So then, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
10 ULB உம்முடைய ராஜ்யம் வருவதாக; உம்முடைய விருப்பம் பரலோகத்திலே செய்யப்படுகிறதுபோல பூமியிலேயும் செய்யப்படுவதாக. BSB BSB: Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 ULB எங்களுக்கு வேண்டிய ஆகாரத்தை இன்று எங்களுக்குத் தாரும். BSB BSB: Give us this day our daily bread.
12 ULB எங்களுடைய எதிராளிகளுக்கு நாங்கள் மன்னிக்கிறதுபோல எங்களுடைய பாவங்களை எங்களுக்கு மன்னியும். BSB BSB: And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 ULB எங்களைச் சோதனைக்குட்படச் செய்யாமல், தீமையிலிருந்து எங்களை இரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளும், ராஜ்யமும், வல்லமையும், மகிமையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் உம்முடையவைகளே, ஆமென், என்பதே. BSB BSB: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’
14 ULB மனிதர்களுடைய குற்றங்களை நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு மன்னித்தால், உங்களுடைய பரமபிதா உங்களுக்கும் மன்னிப்பார். BSB BSB: For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

BSB BSB: When you fast, do not be somber like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.
17 ULB நீயோ உபவாசிக்கும்போது, உன் உபவாசம் மனிதர்களுக்குக் காணப்படாமல், மறைவிடத்தில் இருக்கிற உன் பிதாவுக்கே காணப்படும்படியாக, உன் தலைக்கு எண்ணெய் பூசி, உன் முகத்தைக் கழுவு. BSB BSB: But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
18 ULB அப்பொழுது, மறைவிடத்தில் பார்க்கிற உன் பிதா உனக்கு வெளியரங்கமாகப் பலனளிப்பார். BSB BSB: so that your fasting will not be obvious to men, but only to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
19 ULB பூமியிலே உங்களுக்கு சொத்துக்களைச் சேர்த்துவைக்கவேண்டாம்; இங்கே பூச்சியும் துருவும் அவைகளைக் கெடுக்கும்; இங்கே திருடர்களும் கன்னமிட்டுத் திருடுவார்கள். BSB BSB: Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
20 ULB பரலோகத்திலே உங்களுக்கு சொத்துக்களைச் சேர்த்துவையுங்கள்; அங்கே பூச்சியாவது துருவாவது கெடுக்கிறதும் இல்லை; அங்கே திருடர்கள் கன்னமிட்டுத் திருடுகிறதும் இல்லை. BSB BSB: But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

BSB BSB: No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

BSB BSB: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
27 ULB கவலைப்படுகிறதினாலே உங்களில் எவன் தன் சரீர அளவோடு ஒரு முழத்தைக் கூட்டுவான்? BSB BSB: Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28 ULB உடைக்காகவும் நீங்கள் கவலைப்படுகிறது ஏன்? காட்டுப்பூக்கள் எப்படி வளருகிறதென்று கவனித்துப்பாருங்கள்; அவைகள் உழைக்கிறதுமில்லை, நூற்கிறதுமில்லை; BSB BSB: And why do you worry about clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin.

30 ULB விசுவாசக்குறைவுள்ளவர்களே! இன்றைக்கு இருந்து நாளைக்கு அடுப்பிலே போடப்படும் காட்டுப்புல்லுக்கு தேவன் இவ்விதமாக உடுத்துவித்தால், உங்களுக்கு உடுத்துவிப்பது அதிக நிச்சயமல்லவா? BSB BSB: If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
32 ULB இவைகளையெல்லாம் தேவனை அறியாதவர் நாடித்தேடுகிறார்கள்; இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்கு வேண்டியவைகள் என்று உங்களுடைய பரமபிதா அறிந்திருக்கிறார். BSB BSB: For the Gentiles strive after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 ULB முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்கு சேர்த்துக்கொடுக்கப்படும். BSB BSB: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.
34 ULB ஆகவே, நாளைக்காகக் கவலைப்படாமல் இருங்கள்; நாளையதினம் தன்னுடையவைகளுக்காகக் கவலைப்படும்; அந்தந்த நாளுக்கு அதினதின் பாடுபோதும். BSB BSB: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.
