2 ULB கர்த்தர் எரிச்சலுள்ளவரும் நீதியை நிலைநாட்டுகிறவருமான தேவன்; கர்த்தர் நீதிசெய்கிறவர், கடுங்கோபமுள்ளவர்; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய எதிரிகளுக்குப் பிரதிபலன் அளிக்கிறவர். அவர் தம்முடைய பகைவர்கள்மேல் என்றும் கோபம் வைக்கிறவர். BSB BSB: The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD is avenging and full of wrath. The LORD takes vengeance on His foes and reserves wrath for His enemies.
3 ULB கர்த்தர் நீடிய சாந்தமும், மிகுந்த வல்லமையுமுள்ளவர்; அவர்களைத் தண்டனையில்லாமல் தப்புவிக்கமாட்டார்; கர்த்தருடைய வழி சுழல்காற்றிலும் பெருங்காற்றிலும் இருக்கிறது; மேகங்கள் அவருடைய பாதத்திலுள்ள தூசியாயிருக்கிறது. BSB BSB: The LORD is slow to anger and great in power; the LORD will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. His path is in the whirlwind and storm, and clouds are the dust beneath His feet.

6 ULB அவருடைய கோபத்திற்கு முன்பாக நிற்பவன் யார்? அவருடைய கடுங்கோபத்திலே நிலைநிற்பவன் யார்? அவருடைய எரிச்சல் நெருப்பைப்போல இறைக்கப்படுகிறது; அவராலே கன்மலைகள் பெயர்க்கப்படும். BSB BSB: Who can withstand His indignation? Who can endure His burning anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; even rocks are shattered before Him.
7 ULB கர்த்தர் நல்லவர், இக்கட்டு நாளிலே பாதுகாப்பான கோட்டை; தம்மை நம்புகிறவர்களை அறிந்திருக்கிறார். BSB BSB: The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of distress; He cares for those who trust in Him.
8 ULB ஆனாலும் நினிவேயின் நிலையை, புரண்டுவருகிற வெள்ளத்தினால் முற்றிலுமாக அழிப்பார்; இருள் அவருடைய எதிரிகளைப் பின்தொடரும். BSB BSB: But with an overwhelming flood He will make an end of Nineveh and pursue His enemies into darkness.
9 ULB நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகச் செய்ய நினைக்கிறதென்ன? அவர் முற்றிலுமாக அழிப்பார்; துன்பம் மறுபடியும் உண்டாகாது. BSB BSB: Whatever you plot against the LORD, He will bring to an end. Affliction will not rise up a second time.

11 ULB கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகப் பொல்லாத நினைவுகொண்டிருக்கிற தீய ஆலோசனைக்காரன் ஒருவன் உன்னிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டான். BSB BSB: From you, O Nineveh, comes forth a plotter of evil against the LORD, a counselor of wickedness.
12 ULB கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: அவர்கள் சம்பூரணமடைந்து அநேகராயிருந்தாலும் அழிந்துபோவார்கள்; அவன் ஒழிந்துபோவான்; உன்னை நான் சிறுமைப்படுத்தினேன், இனி உன்னைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தாதிருப்பேன். BSB BSB: This is what the LORD says: “Though they are allied and numerous, yet they will be cut down and pass away. Though I have afflicted you, O Judah, I will afflict you no longer.

BSB BSB: The LORD has issued a command concerning you, O Nineveh: “There will be no descendants to carry on your name. I will cut off the carved image and cast idol from the house of your gods; I will prepare your grave, for you are contemptible.”
