8 ULB இருதயத்தில் ஞானமுள்ளவன் கட்டளைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; அலப்புகிற மூடனோ விழுவான். BSB BSB: A wise heart will receive commandments, but foolish lips will come to ruin.

13 ULB புத்திமானுடைய உதடுகளில் விளங்குவது ஞானம்; மதிகேடனுடைய முதுகுக்கு ஏற்றது பிரம்பு. BSB BSB: Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of him who lacks judgment.

18 ULB பகையை மறைக்கிறவன் பொய் உதடன்; புறங்கூறுகிறவன் மதிகேடன். BSB BSB: The one who conceals hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool.

21 ULB நீதிமானுடைய உதடுகள் அநேகருக்கு உணவளிக்கும்; மூடரோ மதியீனத்தினால் சாவார்கள். BSB BSB: The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of judgment.
22 ULB கர்த்தரின் ஆசீர்வாதமே செல்வத்தைத் தரும்; அதனோடு அவர் வேதனையைக் கூட்டமாட்டார். BSB BSB: The blessing of the LORD enriches, and He adds no sorrow to it.
23 ULB தீவினைசெய்வது மூடனுக்கு விளையாட்டு; புத்திமானுக்கோ ஞானம் உண்டு. BSB BSB: The fool delights in shameful conduct, but a man of understanding has wisdom.
24 ULB துன்மார்க்கன் பயப்படும் காரியம் அவனுக்கு வந்து சம்பவிக்கும்; நீதிமான் விரும்புகிற காரியம் அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும். BSB BSB: What the wicked man dreads will overtake him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted.
25 ULB சுழல்காற்று கடந்துபோவதுபோல் துன்மார்க்கன் கடந்துபோவான்; நீதிமானோ நிரந்தர அஸ்திபாரமுள்ளவன்; BSB BSB: When the whirlwind passes, the wicked are no more, but the righteous are secure forever.

29 ULB கர்த்தரின் வழி உத்தமர்களுக்குப் பாதுகாப்பு, அக்கிரமக்காரர்களுக்கோ கலக்கம். BSB BSB: The way of the LORD is a refuge to the upright, but destruction awaits those who do evil.
30 ULB நீதிமான் என்றும் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை; துன்மார்க்கர்கள் பூமியில் வசிப்பதில்லை. BSB BSB: The righteous will never be shaken, but the wicked will not inhabit the land.
31 ULB நீதிமானுடைய வாய் ஞானத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தும்; மாறுபாடுள்ள நாவோ அறுப்புண்டுபோகும். BSB BSB: The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but a perverse tongue will be cut out.
32 ULB நீதிமான்களுடைய உதடுகள் பிரியமானவைகளைப்பேச அறியும்; துன்மார்க்கர்களுடைய வாயோ மாறுபாடுள்ளது. BSB BSB: The lips of the righteous know what is fitting, but the mouth of the wicked is perverse.
