15 ULB பிரம்பும் கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலும் ஞானத்தைக் கொடுக்கும்; தன்னுடைய இஷ்டத்திற்கு விடப்பட்ட பிள்ளையோ தன்னுடைய தாய்க்கு வெட்கத்தை உண்டாக்குகிறான். BSB BSB: A rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.
16 ULB துன்மார்க்கர்கள் பெருகினால் பாவமும் பெருகும்; நீதிமான்களோ அவர்கள் விழுவதைக் காண்பார்கள். BSB BSB: When the wicked thrive, rebellion increases; but the righteous will see their downfall.
17 ULB உன்னுடைய மகனை தண்டி, அவன் உனக்கு ஆறுதல் செய்வான், உன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவிற்கு ஆனந்தத்தையும் உண்டாக்குவான். BSB BSB: Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will bring delight to your soul.
18 ULB தீர்க்கதரிசனமில்லாத இடத்தில் மக்கள் சீர்கெட்டுப்போவார்கள்; வேதத்தைக் காக்கிறவனோ பாக்கியவான். BSB BSB: Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the Law.
19 ULB அடிமையானவன் வார்த்தைகளினாலே அடங்கமாட்டான்; அவைகளை அவன் அறிந்தாலும் உத்திரவு கொடுக்கமாட்டான். BSB BSB: A servant cannot be corrected by words alone; though he understands, he will not respond.
20 ULB தன்னுடைய வார்த்தைகளில் பதறுகிற மனிதனைக் கண்டால், அவனை நம்புவதைவிட மூடனை நம்பலாம். BSB BSB: Do you see a man who speaks in haste? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
21 ULB ஒருவன் தன்னுடைய அடிமையைச் சிறு வயதுமுதல் அவனது இஷ்டப்படி வளர்த்தால், முடிவிலே அவன் தன்னை மகனாக உரிமைபாராட்டுவான். BSB BSB: A servant pampered from his youth will bring grief in the end.
22 ULB கோபக்காரன் வழக்கை உண்டாக்குகிறான்; கடுங்கோபி பெரும்பாதகன். BSB BSB: An angry man stirs up dissension, and a hot-tempered man abounds in transgression.
23 ULB மனிதனுடைய அகந்தை அவனைத் தாழ்த்தும்; மனத்தாழ்மையுள்ளவனோ மதிப்படைவான். BSB BSB: A man’s pride will bring him low, but a humble spirit will obtain honor.
24 ULB திருடனோடு பங்கிட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவைப் பகைக்கிறான்; சாபத்தை அவன் கேட்டாலும் காரியத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தமாட்டான். BSB BSB: A partner to a thief hates his own soul; he receives the oath but does not testify.
25 ULB மனிதனுக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம் கண்ணியை வருவிக்கும்; கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவனோ உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வைக்கப்படுவான். BSB BSB: The fear of man is a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is set securely on high.
26 ULB ஆளுகை செய்கிறவனுடைய முகதரிசனத்தைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் அநேகர்; ஆனாலும் அவனவனுடைய நியாயம் கர்த்தராலே தீரும். BSB BSB: Many seek the ruler’s favor, but a man receives justice from the LORD.
27 ULB நீதிமானுக்கு அநியாயக்காரன் அருவருப்பானவன்; சன்மார்க்கனும் துன்மார்க்கனுக்கு அருவருப்பானவன். BSB BSB: An unjust man is detestable to the righteous, and one whose way is upright is detestable to the wicked.
