1 ULB தேசங்கள் ஏன் கொந்தளிக்க வேண்டும்? மக்கள் வீணான காரியத்தை ஏன் சிந்திக்கவேண்டும்? BSB BSB: Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?
2 ULB கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகவும், அவர் அபிஷேகம்செய்தவருக்கு விரோதமாகவும், பூமியின் இராஜாக்கள் எழும்பி நின்று, அதிகாரிகள் ஒன்றாக ஆலோசனைசெய்து: BSB BSB: The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together, against the LORD and against His Anointed One:
3 ULB அவர்களுடைய கட்டுகளை அறுத்து, அவர்களுடைய கயிறுகளை நம்மைவிட்டு எறிந்துபோடுவோம்; என்கிறார்கள். BSB BSB: “Let us break Their chains and cast away Their cords.”
4 ULB பரலோகத்தில் அமர்ந்திருக்கிறவர் சிரிப்பார்; ஆண்டவர் அவர்களை இகழுவார். BSB BSB: The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord taunts them.
5 ULB அப்பொழுது அவர் தமது கோபத்திலே அவர்களுடன் பேசுவார். தமது கடுங்கோபத்திலே அவர்களைக் கலங்கச்செய்வார். BSB BSB: Then He rebukes them in His anger, and terrifies them in His fury:
6 ULB நான் என்னுடைய பரிசுத்தமலையாகிய சீயோனில் என்னுடைய இராஜாவை அபிஷேகம்செய்து வைத்தேன் என்றார். BSB BSB: “I have installed My King on Zion, upon My holy mountain.”
7 ULB தீர்மானத்தின் விவரம் சொல்லுவேன்; கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி, நீர் என்னுடைய மகன், இன்று நான் உம்மை பிறக்கச்செய்தேன்; BSB BSB: I will proclaim the decree spoken to Me by the LORD: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.
8 ULB என்னைக் கேளும், அப்பொழுது தேசங்களை உமக்குச் சொத்தாகவும், பூமியின் எல்லைகளை உமக்குச் சொந்தமாகவும் கொடுப்பேன்; BSB BSB: Ask Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance, the ends of the earth Your possession.
9 ULB இரும்புக் கோலால் அவர்களை நொறுக்கி, குயவனின் மண்பாண்டத்தைப்போல் அவர்களை உடைத்துப்போடுவீர் என்று சொன்னார். BSB BSB: You will break them with an iron scepter; You will shatter them like pottery.”
10 ULB இப்போதும் இராஜாக்களே, உணர்வடையுங்கள், பூமியின் நியாயாதிபதிகளே, எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள். BSB BSB: Therefore be wise, O kings; be admonished, O judges of the earth.
11 ULB பயத்துடனே கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்யுங்கள், நடுக்கத்துடனே மகிழ்ந்திருங்கள். BSB BSB: Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 ULB தேவமகன் கோபங்கொள்ளாமலும், நீங்கள் வழியிலே அழியாமலும் இருப்பதற்கு, அவரை முத்தம்செய்யுங்கள்; கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே அவருடைய கோபம் பற்றியெரியும்; அவரிடம் அடைக்கலமாக இருக்கிற அனைவரும் பாக்கியவான்கள். BSB BSB: Kiss the Son, lest He be angry and you perish in your rebellion, when His wrath ignites in an instant. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.
