7 ULB காரணமில்லாமல் எனக்காகத் தங்களுடைய வலையைக் குழியில் ஒளித்துவைத்தார்கள்; காரணமில்லாமல் என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்குப் படுகுழி வெட்டினார்கள். BSB BSB: For without cause they laid their net for me; without reason they dug a pit for my soul.
8 ULB அவன் நினைக்காத அழிவு அவனுக்கு வந்து, அவன் மறைவாக வைத்த வலை அவனையே பிடிக்கட்டும்; அவனே அந்தக் குழியில் விழுந்து அழிவானாக. BSB BSB: May ruin befall them by surprise; may the net they hid ensnare them; may they fall into the hazard they created.

15 ULB ஆனாலும் எனக்கு ஆபத்து உண்டானபோது அவர்கள் சந்தோஷப்பட்டுக் கூட்டங்கூடினார்கள்; அற்பமானவர்களும் நான் அறியாதவர்களும் எனக்கு விரோதமாகக் கூட்டம் கூடி, ஓயாமல் என்னை இகழ்ந்தார்கள். BSB BSB: But when I stumbled, they assembled in glee; they gathered together against me. Assailants I did not know slandered me without ceasing.

17 ULB ஆண்டவரே, எதுவரைக்கும் இதைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருப்பீர்? என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை அழிவுக்கும், எனக்கு அருமையானதைச் சிங்கக்குட்டிகளுக்கும் தப்புவியும். BSB BSB: How long, O Lord, will You look on? Rescue my soul from their ravages, my precious life from these lions.
18 ULB மகா சபையிலே உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன், திரளான மக்களுக்குள்ளே உம்மைப் புகழுவேன். BSB BSB: Then I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.
19 ULB வீணாக எனக்கு எதிரிகளானவர்கள் என்னால் சந்தோஷப்படாமலும், காரணமில்லாமல் என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் கண் சிமிட்டாமலும் இருப்பார்களாக. BSB BSB: Let not my enemies gloat over me without cause, nor those who hate me without reason wink in malice.
20 ULB அவர்கள் சமாதானமாகப் பேசாமல், தேசத்திலே அமைதலாக இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக வஞ்சகமான காரியங்களைக் கருதுகிறார்கள். BSB BSB: For they do not speak peace, but they devise deceitful schemes against those who live quietly in the land.

23 ULB என் தேவனே, என் ஆண்டவரே, எனக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்யவும் என்னுடைய வழக்கைத் தீர்க்கவும் விழித்துக்கொண்டு எழுந்தருளும். BSB BSB: Awake and rise to my defense, to my cause, my God and my Lord!
24 ULB என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நீதியின்படி என்னை நியாயம் விசாரியும், என்னைக்குறித்து அவர்களை மகிழவிடாமலிரும். BSB BSB: Vindicate me by Your righteousness, O LORD my God, and do not let them gloat over me.

26 ULB எனக்கு நேரிட்ட ஆபத்துக்காகச் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறவர்கள் ஒன்றாக வெட்கி அவமானப்பட்டு, எனக்கு விரோதமாகப் பெருமைபாராட்டுகிறவர்கள் வெட்கத்தாலும் அவமானத்தாலும் மூடப்படவேண்டும். BSB BSB: May those who gloat in my distress be ashamed and confounded; may those who exalt themselves over me be clothed in shame and reproach.
27 ULB என்னுடைய நீதி தெரியவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறவர்கள் கெம்பீரித்து மகிழ்ந்து, தமது ஊழியக்காரனுடைய சுகத்தை விரும்புகிற கர்த்தருக்கு மகிமை உண்டாவதாக என்று எப்போதும் சொல்லட்டும். BSB BSB: May those who favor my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “Exalted be the LORD who delights in His servant’s well-being.”
