6 ULB சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, உமக்காகக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள் என்னால் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாமலிருப்பார்களாக; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனே, உம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் என்னிமித்தம் வெட்கமடையாதிருப்பார்களாக. BSB BSB: May those who hope in You not be ashamed through me, O Lord GOD of Hosts; may those who seek You not be dishonored through me, O God of Israel.
7 ULB உமக்காக நிந்தையைச் சகித்தேன்; அவமானம் என்னுடைய முகத்தை மூடினது. BSB BSB: For I have endured scorn for Your sake, and shame has covered my face.

9 ULB உம்முடைய வீட்டைக்குறித்து உண்டான பக்திவைராக்கியம் எனக்குள் பற்றியெரிந்தது; உம்மை நிந்திக்கிறவர்களுடைய நிந்தனைகள் என்மேல் விழுந்தது. BSB BSB: because zeal for Your house has consumed me, and the insults of those who insult You have fallen on me.
10 ULB என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா வாடும்படி உபவாசித்து அழுதேன்; அதுவும் எனக்கு நிந்தையாக முடிந்தது. BSB BSB: I wept and fasted, but it brought me reproach.
11 ULB சணலாடையை என்னுடைய உடையாக்கினேன்; அப்பொழுதும் அவர்களுக்குப் பழமொழியானேன். BSB BSB: I made sackcloth my clothing, and I was sport to them.
12 ULB வாசலில் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாகப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; மதுபானம் குடிக்கிறவர்களின் பாடலானேன். BSB BSB: Those who sit at the gate mock me, and I am the song of drunkards.
13 ULB ஆனாலும் கர்த்தாவே, உதவிக்காலத்திலே உம்மை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்செய்கிறேன்; தேவனே, உமது மிகுந்த கிருபையினாலும் உமது இரட்சிப்பின் சத்தியத்தினாலும் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும். BSB BSB: But my prayer to You, O LORD, is for a time of favor. In Your abundant loving devotion, O God, answer me with Your sure salvation.
14 ULB நான் அமிழ்ந்து போகாதபடிக்குச் சேற்றிலிருந்து என்னைத் தூக்கிவிடும்; என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களிடத்திலிருந்தும் ஆழமான தண்ணீர்களில் இருந்தும் நான் நீங்கும்படி செய்யும். BSB BSB: Rescue me from the mire and do not let me sink; deliver me from my foes and out of the deep waters.
15 ULB வெள்ளங்கள் என்மேல் புரளாமலும், ஆழம் என்னை விழுங்காமலும், பாதாளம் என்மேல் தன்னுடைய வாயை அடைத்துக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பதாக. BSB BSB: Do not let the floods engulf me or the depths swallow me up; let not the Pit close its mouth over me.
16 ULB கர்த்தாவே, என்னுடைய விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டருளும், உம்முடைய தயை நலமாயிருக்கிறது; உமது உருக்கமான இரக்கங்களின்படி என்னைக் கண்ணோக்கியருளும். BSB BSB: Answer me, O LORD, for Your loving devotion is good; turn to me in keeping with Your great compassion.

20 ULB நிந்தை என்னுடைய இருதயத்தைப் பிளந்தது; நான் மிகவும் வேதனைப்படுகிறேன்; எனக்காக பரிதபிக்கிறவனுண்டோ என்று காத்திருந்தேன், ஒருவனும் இல்லை; தேற்றுகிறவர்களுக்குக் காத்திருந்தேன், ஒருவனும் இல்லை. BSB BSB: Insults have broken my heart, and I am in despair. I looked for sympathy, but there was none, for comforters, but I found no one.

27 ULB அக்கிரமத்தின்மேல் அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் சுமத்தும், அவர்கள் உமது நீதிக்கு வந்தெட்டாதிருப்பார்களாக. BSB BSB: Add iniquity to their iniquity; let them not share in Your righteousness.
28 ULB ஜீவபுத்தகத்திலிருந்து அவர்கள் பெயர் கிறுக்கப்பட்டுப்போவதாக; நீதிமான்கள் பெயரோடே அவர்கள் பெயர் எழுதப்படாதிருப்பதாக. BSB BSB: May they be blotted out of the Book of Life and not listed with the righteous.
29 ULB நானோ சிறுமையும் துயரமுமுள்ளவன்; தேவனே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பு எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமாவதாக. BSB BSB: But I am in pain and distress; let Your salvation protect me, O God.
30 ULB தேவனுடைய பெயரைப் பாட்டினால் துதித்து, அவரை நன்றி சொல்லி மகிமைப்படுத்துவேன். BSB BSB: I will praise God’s name in song and exalt Him with thanksgiving.
31 ULB கொம்பும் விரிகுளம்புமுள்ள காளை எருதைவிட, இதுவே கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமாக இருக்கும். BSB BSB: And this will please the LORD more than an ox, more than a bull with horns and hooves.
32 ULB சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் இதைக் கண்டு சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள்; தேவனைத் தேடுகிறவர்களே, உங்களுடைய இருதயம் வாழும். BSB BSB: The humble will see and rejoice. You who seek God, let your hearts be revived!
33 ULB கர்த்தர் எளியவர்களின் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்கிறார், கட்டுண்ட தம்முடையவர்களை அவர் புறக்கணிக்கமாட்டார். BSB BSB: For the LORD listens to the needy and does not despise His captive people.
34 ULB வானமும் பூமியும் கடல்களும் அவைகளில் வாழ்கிற அனைத்தும் அவரைத் துதிக்கட்டும். BSB BSB: Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas and everything that moves in them.
35 ULB தேவன் சீயோனைக் காப்பாற்றி, யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களைக் கட்டுவார்; அப்பொழுது அங்கே குடியிருந்து அதை உரிமையாக்கிக்கொள்வார்கள். BSB BSB: For God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah, that they may dwell there and possess it.
36 ULB அவருடைய ஊழியக்காரரின் சந்ததியார் அதை உரிமையாக்கிக் கொள்வார்கள்; அவருடைய பெயரை நேசிக்கிறவர்கள் அதில் குடியிருப்பார்கள். BSB BSB: The descendants of His servants will inherit it, and those who love His name will settle in it.
