3 TAW Nop wɨdɨn nɨŋɨd, takaw nop ak nɨŋɨd dɨl, nɨbop agñɨbun ak nɨm, nɨb ayɨp jɨmñɨl mɨdobun. Pen chɨn mɨdupsek Bapi ayɨp, Ñɨne Jisas Klays ayɨp, apɨlmɨŋal jɨmñɨl mɨdɨl, jɨj nokom mɨdobun. BSB BSB: We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4 TAW Chɨn anɨgɨl mɨdon, chɨnop tep yɨbɨl gɨnɨmuŋ agɨl, mɨj awl tɨkobun. BSB BSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
5 TAW Klays chɨnop agñek nɨgɨnok takaw ak, nɨbop agñɨnɨgobun. God mɨlek yɨbɨl mɨdeb, kɨsɨlɨm sek ma mɨdeb. BSB BSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6 TAW Anɨb ak chɨn tap si tap tɨmel gɨ mɨdɨlɨg, God ayɨp jɨmñɨl mɨdobun agɨnɨgabun ak, kɨsɨlɨm nab okok mɨdɨl, yepɨs adek ak gɨ dad amɨlɨg, anɨb agɨnɨgabun. BSB BSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 TAW Pen God ayɨp mɨdɨl, mɨlek nop adek ak ajɨl binɨb ne ayɨp jɨmñɨl mɨdon, Ñɨne Jisas chɨnop gos nɨŋɨd nɨkɨm ne sogek kumak ak, ne gach chɨnop mɨdupsek wik yokɨlɨg nep mɨdeb. BSB BSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
9 TAW Chɨn pen tap si tap tɨmel gɨpun okok agyɨkonɨgabun, God ne bɨ suŋtep mɨdeb tek, tap tɨmel gɨpɨm okok tɨg walɨg gɨyokɨnɨgayn agak tek gɨnɨgab. Tap tɨmel anɨb okok mɨdupsek wik yokɨnɨgab. BSB BSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 TAW Pen tap si tap tɨmel ma nep gɨpun agonɨgabun, God ne bɨ takaw yepɨs agep olap mɨdeb agɨnɨgabun. Anɨb ak takaw nop ak nɨg dɨnɨgun tek ma lɨnɨgab. BSB BSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
