1. Judging Others

   (Luke 6:37–42; Romans 14:1–12)

2. 1TCENT“Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.BSBBSB: “Do not judge, or you will be judged.
3. 2TCENTFor with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.BSBBSB: For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
4. 3TCENTWhy do yoʋ see the speck in yoʋr brother's eye, but do not consider the beam in yoʋr own eye?BSBBSB: Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?
5. 4TCENTOr how will yoʋ say to yoʋr brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of yoʋr eye,’ when there is a beam in yoʋr own eye?BSBBSB: How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while there is still a beam in your own eye?
6. 5TCENTHypocrite! First take the beam out of yoʋr own eye, and then yoʋ will see clearly to take the speck out of yoʋr brother's eye.BSBBSB: You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
7. 6TCENT“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them with their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.BSBBSB: Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

8. Ask, Seek, Knock

   (Luke 11:5–13)

15. The Narrow Gate

    (Luke 13:22–30)

18. A Tree and Its Fruit

    (Luke 6:43–45)

19. 15TCENT“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.BSBBSB: Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
20. 16TCENTBy their fruits you will know them. Do people gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?BSBBSB: By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
21. 17TCENTIn the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit.BSBBSB: Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
22. 18TCENTA good tree cannot produce bad fruit, neither can a bad tree produce good fruit.BSBBSB: A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
23. 19TCENTEvery tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.BSBBSB: Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
24. 20TCENTTherefore by their fruits you will know them.BSBBSB: So then, by their fruit you will recognize them.
25. 21TCENT“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father in heaven.BSBBSB: Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

28. The House on the Rock

    (Luke 6:46–49)

29. 24TCENT“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them I will compare to a wise man who built his house on the rock.BSBBSB: Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
30. 25TCENTThe rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.BSBBSB: The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because its foundation was on the rock.
31. 26TCENTBut everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be compared to a foolish man who built his house on the sand.BSBBSB: But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
32. 27TCENTThe rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was its fall.”BSBBSB: The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great was its collapse!”

33. The Authority of Jesus

35. 29TCENTbecause he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.BSBBSB: because He taught as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.
