TDX
Hene niropak’ am’ Iesoà amy zao o mpamory vili-lohao rekets’ o bey hakeoo hijanjiñe aze.
BSB
BSB:
Now all the tax collectors and sinners were gathering around to listen to Jesus.
2
TDX
Le hoe ty fitreontreo’ o Fariseoo naho o mpanoki-dilio: Mandrambe mpanan-tahiñe t’indaty tia vaho mitrao-pilintseñe ama’e.
BSB
BSB:
So the Pharisees and scribes began to grumble: “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
3
TDX
Aa le nirazaña’e ty hoe:
BSB
BSB:
Then Jesus told them this parable:
4
TDX
Ia ama’ areo aman’ añondry zato, ie rereke ty raike, ty tsy hienga i sivampolo sive’ amby rey an-tameañe ey heike, hihitrihitry hitsoeke i motsoy ampara’ te tendreke?
BSB
BSB:
“What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the pasture and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?
5
TDX
Ie isa’e, le anoe’e ega vaho ifalea’e,
BSB
BSB:
And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders,
6
TDX
le ie pok’ añ’ anjomba’e ao, atonto’e o rañe’eo naho o marineo vaho anoe’e ty hoe: Antao hitrao-kaehak’ amako, fa nitreako i añondriko nimotsoy.
BSB
BSB:
comes home, and calls together his friends and neighbors to tell them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep!’
7
TDX
Itaroñako te hirebeke ty andindiñe ao ami’ty bei-hakeo misoloho te ami’ty maren-tane sivampolo sive’ amby tsy aman-kisolohoa’e.
BSB
BSB:
I tell you that in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who do not need to repent.
8
TDX
Ia ka ty rakemba aman-tsanganolo folo, ie motso ty raike ro tsy handrehetse jiro, hipio anjomba hikodebe ampara’ te isa’e?
BSB
BSB:
Or what woman who has ten silver coins and loses one of them does not light a lamp, sweep her house, and search carefully until she finds it?
9
TDX
Ie zoe’e ro mamory o rañe’eo naho o mpifankarine ama’eo hanao ty hoe: Antao hitrao pinembanembañ’ amako; fa nitreako i tsanganolo nimotsoy.
BSB
BSB:
And when she finds it, she calls together her friends and neighbors to say, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost coin.’
10
TDX
Itaroñako te firebehañe ty añatrefa’ o anjelin’ Añahareo ami’ty fibaboha’ ty mpanan-tahiñe raike.
BSB
BSB:
In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”
11
TDX
Tinovo’e ty hoe: Teo t’indaty aman’anadahy roe.
BSB
BSB:
Then Jesus said,
“There was a man who had two sons.
12
TDX
Le hoe ty zai’e aman-drae’e: O aba, atoloro ahy ty anjara lovako. Le zinara’e am’ iereo ty fiveloma’e.
BSB
BSB:
The younger son said to him, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
13
TDX
Ie modo ty andro tsy ampeampe le hene natonton-jai’e naho nifokofoko mb’an-tsietoitane añe vaho nirite’e ami’ty hatsivokarañe o fanaña’eo.
BSB
BSB:
After a few days, the younger son got everything together and journeyed to a distant country, where he squandered his wealth in wild living.
14
TDX
Ie nikapioke, nitondroke ty san-kerè mena amy taney vaho nirota.
BSB
BSB:
After he had spent all he had, a severe famine swept through that country, and he began to be in need.
15
TDX
Aa le niavotse re, noly amy t’indaty tompo-tane nañirak’ aze hiara-dambo an-tete’e añe.
BSB
BSB:
So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed the pigs.
16
TDX
Le naìna’e te ho nañatseke ty tro’e amo hara’e fihanen-damboo, fe tsy eo ty namahañe aze.
BSB
BSB:
He longed to fill his belly with the pods the pigs were eating, but no one would give him a thing.
17
TDX
Ie nitombalin-dre, le hoe ty fisafiri’e: Firefire amo mpikarama aman-draeko añeo ro tsy enen-kaneñe, izaho mifeake ty kerè atoy!
BSB
BSB:
Finally he came to his senses and said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have plenty of food, but here I am, starving to death!
18
TDX
Hiavotse iraho himpoly mb’ aman-draeko añe, le hanoeko ty hoe: Ry aba, aman-kakeo andindìñey naho ama’o raho
BSB
BSB:
I will get up and go back to my father and say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.
19
TDX
le tsy mañev’ ahy te hatao ana’o, ehe apoho ho mpiamo tsimañaja’oo.
BSB
BSB:
I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’
20
TDX
Aa le niongake re nimpoly mb’ aman-drae’e añe. Ie mbe eñe te nitalaken-drae’e naho niferenaiña’e; vaho nihitrihitry mb’ ama’e mb’eo nametreke ty fititia’e naho norofa’e.
BSB
BSB:
So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still in the distance, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.
21
TDX
Fa hoe ty nanoa’ i ana’ey: O aba, aman-tahiñe andindìñey naho ama’o iraho, tsy mañeva ahy ty hatao ty hoe ana’o ka.
BSB
BSB:
The son declared, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22
TDX
Fe hoe ty rae’e amo mpitoro’eo: Hitrifo masika kirahe i sarimbo soay le isaroño; añombeo bange o taña’eo naho hana o tombo’eo
BSB
BSB:
But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
23
TDX
le endeso atoy i ana-bosy vinondrakey, lentao; naho antao hikama vaho hifale.
BSB
BSB:
Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let us feast and celebrate.
24
TDX
Amy te nihomake ty anako toy naho nivañom-beloñe, nimotso vaho nitrea. Aa le nifale iereo.
BSB
BSB:
For this son of mine was dead and is alive again! He was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.
25
TDX
Tan-tetek’ añe i zoke’ey; aa ie nañarine i anjombay, le nahatsanom-peon-kafaleañe naho tsinjake.
BSB
BSB:
Meanwhile the older son was in the field, and as he approached the house, he heard music and dancing.
26
TDX
Le tsinikao’e ty mpitoroñe, naho nañontane ty foto’ o raha zao.
BSB
BSB:
So he called one of the servants and asked what was going on.
27
TDX
Le hoe ty nanoa’ i mpitoroñey: Nivotrak’ atoy i rahalahi’oy; aa kanao nijaranjaiñe i anadahi’ey, le vinonon-drae’o i ana-bosy vinondrakey.
BSB
BSB:
‘Your brother has returned,’ he said, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has him back safe and sound.’
28
TDX
Nioroñoroñe amy zao re nifoneñe tsy hizilik’ ao; aa le niakatse ty rae’e hañohò aze.
BSB
BSB:
The older son became angry and refused to go in. So his father came out and pleaded with him.
29
TDX
Fe hoe re aman-drae’e: Hete, fa haehae ty nitoroñako azo, le tsy nililareko ndra mbia’ mbia o lili’oo; fe mbe lia’e tsy nitolara’o ndra ty vi’e hifalefaleako amo rañekoo.
BSB
BSB:
But he answered his father, ‘Look, all these years I have served you and never disobeyed a commandment of yours. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.
30
TDX
Ie niloneake eo i ana-dahi’o nampianto ty harea’o amo tsimirirañeoy, le linenta’o i temboay vinondrakey.
BSB
BSB:
But when this son of yours returns from squandering your wealth with prostitutes, you kill the fattened calf for him!’
31
TDX
Aa hoe ty saontsin-drae’e tama’e: O anake, toe amako etoañe nainai’e irehe; fonga azo o hanañakoo.
BSB
BSB:
‘Son, you are always with me,’ the father said, ‘and all that is mine is yours.
32
TDX
Fe evàe’e t’ie mifale naho mirebeke; amy te nihomake i rahalahi’oy f’ie nibodañe, nirereke fe nitendreke.
BSB
BSB:
But it was fitting to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”
