Haggai 2 (TELOTSA)

1ఏడవ నెల ఇరవై ఒకటవ రోజున ప్రవక్తయైన హగ్గయి ద్వార వచ్చిన యెహోవా వాక్కు:On the twenty-first day of the seventh month, the word of the LORD came through Haggai the prophet, saying:

2“నీవు యూదాదేశపు అధికారిగా ఉన్న షయల్తీయేలు కుమారుడైన జెరుబ్బాబెలుతో, ప్రధాన యాజకుడైన యెహోజాదాకు కుమారుడైన యెహోషువతో, మిగిలి ఉన్న ప్రజలందరితో మాట్లాడి ఇలా అడుగు,“Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and also to the remnant of the people. Ask them,

3పూర్వం ఈ మందిర వైభవాన్ని చూసినవారు మీలో ఎవరైనా ఉన్నారా? ఇప్పుడది మీకు ఎలా కనబడుతోంది? దానితో పోల్చడానికి ఎందుకూ సరిపోదు కదా?‘Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not appear to you like nothing in comparison?’

4అయితే యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమంటే, ‘జెరుబ్బాబెలూ, ధైర్యం తెచ్చుకో! ప్రధాన యాజకుడవును యెహోజాదాకు కుమారుడవునైన యెహోషువా, ధైర్యం తెచ్చుకో! దేశ ప్రజలారా, మీరందరూ ధైర్యం తెచ్చుకోండి! నేను మీకు తోడుగా ఉన్నాను’ అని సైన్యాల యెహోవా ప్రకటిస్తున్నారు.But now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD. Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. And be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD. Work! For I am with you, declares the LORD of Hosts.

5‘మీరు ఈజిప్టు దేశంలో నుండి వచ్చినప్పుడు నేను మీతో చేసిన నిబంధన ఇదే. నా ఆత్మ మీ మధ్య ఉంటుంది కాబట్టి భయపడకండి.’This is the promise I made to you when you came out of Egypt. And My Spirit remains among you; do not be afraid.”

6“సైన్యాల యెహోవా చెబుతున్న మాట ఇదే: ‘మరికొంత సమయంలో మరోసారి నేను ఆకాశాన్ని భూమిని సముద్రాన్ని ఎండిన భూమిని కంపింపజేస్తాను.For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.

7నేను ఇతర జనాలను కదిలించగా వారు తమకిష్టమైన వాటిని తీసుకువస్తారు; నేను ఈ మందిరాన్ని నా మహిమతో నింపుతాను’ ఇదే సైన్యాల యెహోవా మాట.I will shake all the nations, and they will come with all their treasures, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Hosts.

8వెండి నాది, బంగారం నాది; ఇదే సైన్యాల యెహోవా మాట.The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, declares the LORD of Hosts.

9‘ఇప్పుడున్న మందిర వైభవం గత మందిర వైభవం కన్నా అధికంగా ఉంటుంది’ అని సైన్యాల యెహోవా ప్రకటిస్తున్నారు. అంతేకాదు ఆయన ఇంకా మాట్లాడుతూ, ‘ఈ స్థలంలో నేను సమాధానాన్ని అనుగ్రహిస్తాను’ అని సైన్యాల యెహోవా ప్రకటిస్తున్నారు.”The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says the LORD of Hosts. And in this place I will provide peace, declares the LORD of Hosts.”

10రాజైన దర్యావేషు పరిపాలనలో రెండవ సంవత్సరం తొమ్మిదో నెల ఇరవై నాల్గవ రోజున యెహోవా వాక్కు ప్రవక్తయైన హగ్గయి దగ్గరకు వచ్చి తెలియజేసింది ఏంటంటే:On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Haggai the prophet, saying,

11“సైన్యాల యెహోవా చెబుతున్న మాట ఇదే: ధర్మశాస్త్రం గురించి యాజకులను అడుగు:“This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Ask the priests for a ruling.

12ఎవరైనా తమ వస్త్రపు చెంగులో ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన మాంసాన్ని తీసుకెళ్లి, ఆ చెంగుతో రొట్టెను గాని వంటకాన్ని గాని, ద్రాక్షరసాన్ని గాని, నూనెను గాని ఇతర ఏ ఆహారాన్ని గాని తాకితే అది పవిత్రం అవుతుందా?” అని అడిగితే, యాజకులు, “కాదు” అన్నారు.If a man carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment, and it touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any other food, does that item become holy?’” “No,” replied the priests.

13అప్పుడు హగ్గయి, “ఎవరైనా శవాన్ని తాకి అపవిత్రుడై ఆ వస్తువులలో ఒకదాన్ని తాకితే అతడు తాకింది అపవిత్రం అవుతుందా?” అని అడిగితే, యాజకులు, “అవును, అది అపవిత్రం అవుతుంది” అని జవాబిచ్చారు.So Haggai asked, “If one who is defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?” “Yes, it becomes defiled,” the priests answered.

14అందుకు హగ్గయి వారితో ఇలా అన్నాడు, “ఈ ప్రజలు, ఈ జనాలు నా దృష్టికి అలాగే ఉన్నారు. వారు చేసే క్రియలన్నీ అక్కడ వారు అర్పించేదంతా నా దృష్టికి అపవిత్రమే! ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.Then Haggai replied, “So it is with this people and this nation before Me, declares the LORD, and so it is with every work of their hands; whatever they offer there is defiled.

15“ ‘ఆ రోజు నుండి మీరు దీని గురించి బాగా ఆలోచించండి. యెహోవా మందిరంలో రాయి మీద రాయి ఉంచే ముందు మీ పరిస్థితులను గురించి ఆలోచించండి.Now consider carefully from this day forward: Before one stone was placed on another in the temple of the LORD,

16ఒకడు ఇరవై కుప్పల ధాన్యం నాటగా పది కుప్పల ధాన్యమే వస్తుంది. ద్రాక్షగానుగ తొట్టిలో నుండి యాభై కొలతల ద్రాక్షరసం తీయడానికి వెళ్తే ఇరవై కొలతలు మాత్రమే ఉంటుంది.from that time, when one came expecting a heap of twenty ephahs of grain, there were but ten. When one came to the winepress to draw out fifty baths, there were but twenty.

17నేను నీ చేతి పనంతటిని తెగులుతో బూజుతో వడగండ్లతో నాశనం చేశాను. అయినా మీరు నా వైపు తిరుగలేదు’ అని యెహోవా ప్రకటిస్తున్నారు.I struck you—all the work of your hands—with blight, mildew, and hail, but you did not turn to Me, declares the LORD.

18‘మీరు బాగా ఆలోచించండి. ఈ రోజు నుండి, తొమ్మిదవ నెల ఇరవై నాలుగవ రోజు నుండి, అంటే యెహోవా ఆలయ పునాది వేయబడిన రోజు నుండి జరిగిన వాటిని గురించి జాగ్రత్తగా ఆలోచించండి:Consider carefully from this day forward—from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, the day the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid—consider carefully:

19గిడ్డంగిలో ధాన్యమేమైనా మిగిలి ఉందా? ఇప్పటివరకు ద్రాక్షతీగె గాని అంజూరపు చెట్టు గాని దానిమ్మ చెట్టు గాని ఒలీవచెట్టు గాని ఫలించలేదు గదా! “ ‘అయితే ఈ రోజు నుండి నేను మిమ్మల్ని ఆశీర్వదిస్తున్నాను.’ ”Is there still seed in the barn? The vine, the fig, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yet yielded fruit. But from this day on, I will bless you.”

20అదే నెల ఇరవై నాల్గవ రోజున యెహోవా వాక్కు ప్రవక్తయైన హగ్గయి దగ్గరకు రెండవసారి వచ్చి తెలియజేసింది ఏంటంటే:For the second time that day, the twenty-fourth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to Haggai, saying,

21యూదాదేశపు అధికారియైన జెరుబ్బాబెలుతో ఇలా చెప్పు, నేను ఆకాశాన్ని భూమిని కదిలించబోతున్నాను.“Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I am about to shake the heavens and the earth:

22నేను రాజ సింహాసనాలను కూలదోసి ఇతర రాజ్యాల అధికారాన్ని నాశనం చేస్తాను. నేను రథాలను రథసారథులను కూలదోస్తాను; గుర్రాలు గుర్రపురౌతులు ఒకరి ఖడ్గం చేత ఒకరు కూలిపోతారు.I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overturn chariots and their riders; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.

23“ ‘అయితే షయల్తీయేలు కుమారుడవైన జెరుబ్బాబెలూ, నీవు నా సేవకుడవు. నేను నిన్ను ఎన్నుకున్నాను. కాబట్టి ఆ రోజున నేను నిన్ను తీసుకుని నా ముద్ర ఉంగరంలా చేస్తాను, ఎందుకంటే నేను నిన్ను ఏర్పరచుకున్నాను’ ఇదే సైన్యాల యెహోవా వాక్కు.”On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, I will take you, My servant, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, declares the LORD, and I will make you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
