Luke 20 (TELOTSA)

1ఒకనాడు యేసు దేవాలయ ఆవరణంలో ప్రజలకు బోధిస్తూ సువార్తను ప్రకటిస్తూ ఉండగా, ముఖ్య యాజకులు, ధర్మశాస్త్ర ఉపదేశకులు, నాయకులతో కలసి ఆయన దగ్గరకు వచ్చారు.One day as Jesus was teaching the people in the temple courts and proclaiming the gospel, the chief priests and scribes, together with the elders, came up to Him.

2వారు, “నీవు ఏ అధికారంతో ఈ కార్యాలను చేస్తున్నావో మాకు చెప్పు, నీకు ఈ అధికారం ఎవరిచ్చారు?” అని అడిగారు.“Tell us,” they said, “by what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority?”

4యోహానుకు ఇచ్చిన బాప్తిస్మం పరలోకం నుండి కలిగిందా? లేదా మానవుల నుండి కలిగిందా?”John’s baptism—was it from heaven, or from men?”

19ఇది విన్న ముఖ్య యాజకులు, ధర్మశాస్త్ర ఉపదేశకులు ఆయన తమ గురించే ఆయన ఈ ఉపమానం చెప్పారని గ్రహించి, ఎలాగైనా ఆయనను త్వరగా బంధించడానికి అవకాశం కోసం చూస్తూ ఉన్నారు. కాని ప్రజలకు భయపడ్డారు.When the scribes and chief priests realized that Jesus had spoken this parable against them, they sought to arrest Him that very hour. But they were afraid of the people.

They were hoping to catch Him in His words in order to hand Him over to the rule and authority of the governor.

You show no partiality but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.

23ఆయన వారి కుయుక్తిని ఎరిగి, వారితో,But Jesus saw through their duplicity and said to them,

24“నాకు ఒక దేనారాన్ని చూపించండి, దీనిపై ఉన్న బొమ్మ ఎవరిది? ఈ వ్రాయబడిన ముద్ర ఎవరిది?” అని అడిగారు. అందుకు వారు, “కైసరువి” అన్నారు.“Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” “Caesar’s,” they answered.

25అప్పుడు ఆయన, “అలాగైతే కైసరువి కైసరుకు, దేవునివి దేవునికి చెల్లించండి” అని వారితో చెప్పారు.So Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

26మాటల్లో చిక్కులు పెట్టాలని చూసినవారు ప్రజల ముందు ఆయన మాటలను తప్పు పట్టలేక ఆయన జవాబుకు ఆశ్చర్యపడి నిశ్శబ్దమై పోయారు.And they were unable to trap Him in His words before the people. And amazed at His answer, they fell silent.

27పునరుత్థానం లేదని చెప్పే సద్దూకయ్యులు కొందరు, యేసు దగ్గరకు ఒక ప్రశ్నతో వచ్చారు,Then some of the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to question Him.

28“బోధకుడా, పెళ్ళి చేసుకున్న ఒక వ్యక్తి సంతానం లేకుండా చనిపోతే, వాని సోదరుడు ఆ విధవరాలిని పెళ్ళి చేసికొని చనిపోయిన తన సోదరునికి సంతానం కలిగించాలని మోషే మాకోసం వ్రాశాడు.“Teacher,” they said, “Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man is to marry his brother’s widow and raise up offspring for him.

29అయితే ఒక కుటుంబంలో ఏడుగురు సహోదరులు ఉన్నారు. మొదటివాడు ఒక స్త్రీని పెళ్ళి చేసుకుని సంతానం లేకుండానే చనిపోయాడు.Now there were seven brothers. The first one married a wife but died childless.

30రెండవవాడు,Then the second

31అదే విధంగా మూడవవాడు కూడా ఆమెను పెళ్ళి చేసుకున్నాడు, ఆ విధంగా ఏడుగురు సంతానం లేకుండానే చనిపోయారు.and the third married the widow, and in the same way all seven died, leaving no children.

32చివరికి ఆ స్త్రీ కూడా చనిపోయింది.And last of all, the woman died.

33ఆమెను ఏడుగురు పెళ్ళి చేసుకున్నారు కాబట్టి పునరుత్థానంలో ఆమె ఎవరికి భార్యగా ఉంటుంది?” అని అడిగారు.So then, in the resurrection, whose wife will she be? For all seven were married to her.”

34అందుకు యేసు, “ఈ యుగానికి చెందినవారు పెళ్ళి చేసుకొంటారు, పెళ్ళికి ఇవ్వబడతారు గానిJesus answered, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage.

35మృతుల పునరుత్థానం పొంది రానున్న యుగానికి యోగ్యులుగా ఎంచబడేవారు పెళ్ళి చేసుకోరు, పెళ్ళికివ్వబడరు.But those who are considered worthy to share in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage.

36వారు ఎన్నడు చావనే చావరు. దూతల్లా ఉంటారు. వారు పునరుత్థాన సంతానంగా దేవుని పిల్లలు అవుతారు.In fact, they can no longer die, because they are like the angels. And since they are sons of the resurrection, they are sons of God.

For he calls the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’

44దావీదే ఆయనను, ‘ప్రభువు’ అని పిలిచినప్పుడు ఆయన అతనికి కుమారుడెలా అవుతాడు?”Thus David calls Him ‘Lord.’ So how can He be David’s son?”

45ప్రజలందరు వింటూ ఉండగా, యేసు తన శిష్యులతో,In the hearing of all the people, Jesus said to His disciples,

They like to walk around in long robes, and they love the greetings in the marketplaces, the chief seats in the synagogues, and the places of honor at banquets.
