Matthew 9 (TELOTSA)

1యేసు పడవ ఎక్కి సరస్సు దాటి తన సొంత పట్టణం చేరుకున్నారు.Jesus got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own town.

2కొందరు మనుష్యులు పక్షవాతంగల ఒక వ్యక్తిని చాపమీద ఆయన దగ్గరకు తీసుకుని వచ్చారు. యేసు వారి విశ్వాసం చూసి, అతనితో, “కుమారుడా, ధైర్యం తెచ్చుకో, నీ పాపాలు క్షమించబడ్డాయి” అన్నారు.Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”

3అప్పుడు కొందరు ధర్మశాస్త్ర ఉపదేశకులు తమలో తాము, “ఇతడు దైవదూషణ చేస్తున్నాడు” అని చెప్పుకొన్నారు.On seeing this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”

9యేసు అక్కడినుండి వెళ్తూ, పన్ను వసూలు చేసే చోట కూర్చున్న మత్తయి అనే ఒక వ్యక్తిని చూసి, “నన్ను వెంబడించు” అని అతనితో అన్నారు. మత్తయి లేచి ఆయనను వెంబడించాడు.As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax booth. “Follow Me,” He told him, and Matthew got up and followed Him.

10యేసు మత్తయి ఇంట్లో భోజనం చేస్తుండగా, అనేకమంది పన్ను వసూలు చేసేవారు, పాపులు వచ్చి ఆయనతో, ఆయన శిష్యులతో పాటు కలిసి భోజనం చేశారు.Later, as Jesus was dining at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Him and His disciples.

11ఇది చూసిన పరిసయ్యులు, “మీ బోధకుడు పన్ను వసూలు చేసేవారితో, పాపులతో కలిసి ఎందుకు భోజనం చేస్తున్నాడు?” అని ఆయన శిష్యులను అడిగారు.When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

12అది విని యేసు, “రోగులకే గాని, ఆరోగ్యవంతులకు వైద్యులు అవసరం లేదు.On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

13అందుకే మీరు వెళ్లి, ‘నేను దయను కోరుతున్నాను, బలిని కాదు’ అంటే అర్థం ఏంటో తెలుసుకోండి: ఎందుకంటే నేను నీతిమంతులను పిలువడానికి రాలేదు, పాపులను పిలవడానికి వచ్చాను” అన్నారు.But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

14అప్పుడు యోహాను శిష్యులు వచ్చి, “మేము, పరిసయ్యులు తరచుగా ఉపవాసం ఉంటున్నాం, కాని నీ శిష్యులు ఉపవాసం ఉండడం లేదు ఎందుకు?” అని ఆయనను అడిగారు.Then John’s disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast so often, but Your disciples do not fast?”

15అందుకు యేసు, “పెండ్లికుమారుడు తమతో ఉన్నప్పుడు అతని అతిథులు ఎందుకు దుఃఖిస్తారు? పెండ్లికుమారుడు వారి దగ్గర నుండి తీసుకొనిపోబడే సమయం వస్తుంది, అప్పుడు వారు ఉపవాసం ఉంటారు” అని జవాబిచ్చారు.Jesus replied, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while He is with them? But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.

16“ఎవ్వరూ పాత బట్టకు క్రొత్త బట్ట అతుకువేసి కుట్టరు, ఎందుకంటే ఆ బట్ట, పాత బట్ట నుండి విడిపోయి చినుగును మరి ఎక్కువ చేస్తుంది.No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. For the patch will pull away from the garment, and a worse tear will result.

17అలాగే ఎవ్వరూ పాత తిత్తులలో క్రొత్త ద్రాక్షరసం పోయరు; అలా చేస్తే క్రొత్త ద్రాక్షరసం వలన ఆ తిత్తులు పిగిలి ద్రాక్షరసం కారిపోతుంది, తిత్తులు పాడైపోతాయి. కాబట్టి క్రొత్త ద్రాక్షరసాన్ని క్రొత్త తిత్తులలోనే పోయాలి అప్పుడు ఆ రెండు భద్రంగా ఉంటాయి” అని చెప్పారు.Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will spill, and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

18ఆయన ఈ సంగతులు వారితో చెప్తున్నప్పుడు, సమాజమందిరపు అధికారి ఒకరు వచ్చి ఆయన ముందు మోకరించి, “నా కుమార్తె ఇప్పుడే చనిపోయింది. కానీ నీవు వచ్చి ఆమె మీద చేయి పెడితే, ఆమె బ్రతుకుతుంది” అన్నాడు.While Jesus was saying these things, a synagogue leader came and knelt before Him. “My daughter has just died,” he said. “But come and place Your hand on her, and she will live.”

19యేసు లేచి అతనితో వెళ్లారు, ఆయన శిష్యులు కూడా ఆయనతో వెళ్లారు.So Jesus got up and went with him, along with His disciples.

20అప్పుడే, పన్నెండేళ్ళ నుండి రక్తస్రావంతో బాధపడుతున్న ఒక స్త్రీ ఆయన వెనుక నుండి వచ్చి, ఆయన వస్త్రపు అంచును తాకింది.Suddenly a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak.

21ఆమె తన మనస్సులో, “నేను ఆయన వస్త్రాన్ని తాకితే చాలు, నేను పూర్తిగా స్వస్థపడతాను” అనుకుంది.She said to herself, “If only I touch His cloak, I will be healed.”

22యేసు వెనుకకు తిరిగి ఆమెను చూసి, “కుమారీ, ధైర్యం తెచ్చుకో! నీ విశ్వాసం నిన్ను స్వస్థపరచింది” అన్నారు. ఆ సమయంలోనే ఆ స్త్రీ స్వస్థత పొందుకుంది.Jesus turned and saw her. “Take courage, daughter,” He said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that very hour.

23యేసు ఆ సమాజమందిరపు అధికారి ఇంట్లోకి వెళ్లినప్పుడు, అక్కడ పిల్లన గ్రోవులు వాయిస్తూ గోల చేస్తున్న గుంపును చూసి,When Jesus entered the house of the synagogue leader, He saw the flute players and the noisy crowd.

24ఆయన వారితో, “బయటకు వెళ్లండి! అమ్మాయి చనిపోలేదు కానీ నిద్రపోతుంది” అన్నారు. అందుకు వారు ఆయనను చూసి హేళనగా నవ్వారు.“Go away,” He told them. “The girl is not dead, but asleep.” And they laughed at Him.

25ఆ గుంపును బయటకు పంపివేసిన తర్వాత ఆయన లోపలికి వెళ్లి ఆ అమ్మాయి చేతిని పట్టుకోగానే ఆ అమ్మాయి లేచి నిలబడింది.After the crowd had been put outside, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.

26ఈ వార్త ఆ ప్రాంతమంతా ప్రాకిపోయింది.And the news about this spread throughout that region.

27అక్కడినుండి యేసు వెళ్తున్నప్పుడు ఇద్దరు గ్రుడ్డివారు, “దావీదు కుమారుడా! మమ్మల్ని కరుణించు” అని కేకలువేస్తూ ఆయనను వెంబడించారు.As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

28ఆయన ఇంట్లోకి వెళ్లినప్పుడు, ఆ గ్రుడ్డివారు ఆయన దగ్గరకు వచ్చారు. యేసు వారితో, “నేను ఇది చేయగలనని మీరు నమ్ముతున్నారా?” అని అన్నారు. వారు, “అవును, ప్రభువా!” అన్నారు.After Jesus had entered the house, the blind men came to Him. “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” He asked. “Yes, Lord,” they answered.

29అప్పుడు ఆయన వారి కళ్లను ముట్టి, “మీ విశ్వాసం చొప్పున మీకు జరుగును గాక” అన్నారు.Then He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you.”

30వారికి తిరిగి చూపు వచ్చేసింది. యేసు వారితో, “ఈ సంగతి ఎవ్వరికి తెలియనివ్వకండి” అని తీవ్రంగా హెచ్చరించారు.And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one finds out about this!”

31కానీ వారు బయటకు వెళ్లి, ఆయన గురించి ఆ ప్రాంతం అంతా చాటించారు.But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout the land.

32వారు బయటకు వెళ్లేటప్పుడు, దయ్యం పట్టి మూగవానిగా ఉన్న ఒకనిని కొందరు ఆయన దగ్గరకు తీసుకువచ్చారు.As they were leaving, a demon-possessed man who was mute was brought to Jesus.

33ఆ దయ్యం వెళ్లగొట్టబడిన తర్వాత ఆ మూగవానిగా ఉండినవాడు మాట్లాడాడు, దానికి జనసమూహం ఆశ్చర్యపడి, “ఇలాంటిది ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశంలో ఎప్పుడు చూడలేదు” అని చెప్పుకొన్నారు.And when the demon had been driven out, the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”

34కాని పరిసయ్యులు, “దయ్యాల అధిపతి సహాయంతో ఇతడు దయ్యాలను వెళ్లగొడుతున్నాడు” అన్నారు.But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that He drives out demons.”

35యేసు అన్ని పట్టణాలు, గ్రామాల గుండా వెళ్తూ వారి సమాజమందిరాల్లో బోధిస్తూ, రాజ్యసువార్తను ప్రకటిస్తూ, ప్రతి వ్యాధిని, రోగాన్ని బాగుచేస్తూ ఉన్నారు.Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness.

36ఆయన జనసమూహాలను చూసినప్పుడు వారు కాపరి లేని గొర్రెలవలె పీడించబడి నిస్సహాయులుగా ఉన్నారని వారి మీద కనికరపడ్డారు.When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

37అప్పుడు ఆయన తన శిష్యులతో, “కోత సమృద్ధిగా ఉంది కాని పనివారు కొద్దిమందే ఉన్నారు.Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

38పనివారిని పంపుమని కోత యజమానిని అడగండి” అన్నారు.Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.”
