1ఆదాము కొడుకు షేతు. షేతు కొడుకు ఎనోషు.Adam, Seth, Enosh,

2ఎనోషు కొడుకు కేయినాను. కేయినాను కొడుకు మహలలేలు. మహలలేలు కొడుకు యెరెదు.Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared,

3యెరెదు కొడుకు హనోకు. హనోకు కొడుకు మెతూషెల. మెతూషెల కొడుకు లెమెకు.Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, Noah.

4లెమెకు కొడుకు నోవహు. నోవహు కొడుకులు షేము, హాము, యాపెతు.The sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

5యాపెతు కొడుకులు వీళ్ళు: గోమెరు, మాగోగు, మాదయి, యావాను, తుబాలు, మెషెకు, తీరసు.The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

6గోమెరు కొడుకులు అష్కనజు, రీఫతు, తోగర్మా అనే వాళ్ళు.The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

7యావాను కొడుకులు ఎలీషా, తర్షీషు, కిత్తీము, దోదానీము.And the sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites, and the Rodanites.

8హాము కొడుకులు ఎవరంటే, కూషు, మిస్రాయిము, పూతు, కనాను అనే వాళ్ళు.The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

9కూషు కొడుకులు వీళ్ళు: సెబా, హవీలా, సబ్తా, రాయమా, సబ్తకా. ఇక రాయమా కొడుకులు షెబా, దదాను అనే వాళ్ళు.The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

10కూషుకు నిమ్రోదు పుట్టాడు. ఈ నిమ్రోదు భూమి మీద మొదటి విజేత.Cush was the father of Nimrod, who began to be a mighty one on the earth.

11ఇక మిస్రాయిము లూదీయులు, అనామీయులు, లెహాబీయులు, నప్తుహీయులు,Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, the Anamites, the Lehabites, the Naphtuhites,

12పత్రుసీయులు అనే జాతులకు తండ్రి. ఫిలిష్తీయుల వంశకర్తలైన కస్లూహీయులూ కఫ్తోరీయులూ కూడా మిస్రాయిము సంతతివారే.the Pathrusites, the Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came), and the Caphtorites.

13కనానుకు మొదటగా సీదోను పుట్టాడు. తరువాత హేతు పుట్టాడు.And Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,

14ఇతడు యెబూసీయులు, అమోరీయులు, గిర్గాషీయులు,the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,

15హివ్వీయులు, అర్కీయులు, సీనీయులుthe Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,

16అర్వాదీయులు, సెమారీయులు, హమాతీయులు అనే జాతులకు మూలపురుషుడు కూడా.the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites.

17షేము కొడుకులు ఏలాము, అష్షూరు, అర్పక్షదు, లూదు, అరాము, ఊజు, హూలు, గెతెరు, మెషెకు అనే వాళ్ళు.The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.

18అర్పక్షదుకు షేలహు పుట్టాడు. షేలహుకు ఏబెరు పుట్టాడు.Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.

19ఏబెరుకు ఇద్దరు కొడుకులు పుట్టారు. వాళ్ళలో పెలెగు అనేవాడి రోజుల్లో ప్రాంతాలుగా భూమి విభజన జరిగింది. అందుకే అతనికి ఆ పేరు వచ్చింది. అతని సోదరుడి పేరు యొక్తాను.Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother was named Joktan.

20యొక్తానుకు అల్మోదాదు, షెలపు, హసర్మావెతు, యెరహు,And Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

21హదోరము, ఊజాలు, దిక్లాను,Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,

22ఏబాలు, అబీమాయేలు, షేబా,Obal, Abimael, Sheba,

23ఓఫీరు, హవీలా, యోబాలు పుట్టారు.Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.

24షేముకు అర్పక్షదు, అర్పక్షదుకు షేలహు, షేలహుకు ఏబెరు,So from Shem came Arphaxad, Shelah,

25ఏబెరుకు పెలెగు, పెలెగుకు రయూ,Eber, Peleg, Reu,

26రయూకు సెరూగు, సెరూగుకు నాహోరు, నాహోరుకు తెరహు,Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27తెరహుకు అబ్రాహాము అనే పేరు పెట్టిన అబ్రామూ పుట్టారు.and Abram (that is, Abraham).

28అబ్రాహాము కొడుకులు ఇస్సాకు, ఇష్మాయేలులు.The sons of Abraham were Isaac and Ishmael.

29వీళ్ళ సంతానం వివరాలు ఇవి. ఇష్మాయేలు పెద్దకొడుకు నెబాయోతు. ఇతని తరువాత పుట్టిన వాళ్ళు, కేదారు, అద్బయేలు, మిబ్శామూ,These are their genealogies: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

30మిష్మా, దూమా, మశ్శా, హదదు, తేమా,Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema,

31యెతూరు, నాపీషు, కెదెమా. వీళ్ళు ఇష్మాయేలు కొడుకులు.Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These were the sons of Ishmael.

32అబ్రాహాము ఉంపుడుకత్తె అయిన కెతూరాకు పుట్టిన కొడుకులు వీళ్ళు: జిమ్రాను, యొక్షాను, మెదాను, మిద్యాను, ఇష్బాకూ, షూవహు. వీళ్ళలో యొక్షానుకు షేబా, దదానూ అనే కొడుకులు పుట్టారు.The sons born to Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.

33మిద్యాను కొడుకులు ఎవరంటే ఏయిఫా, ఏఫెరు, హనోకు, అబీదా, ఎల్దాయా. వీళ్ళంతా కెతూరా సంతానం.The sons of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All of these were Keturah’s sons.

34అబ్రాహాముకు ఇస్సాకు పుట్టాడు. ఇస్సాకు కొడుకులు ఏశావు, యాకోబు.Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.

35ఏశావు కొడుకులు ఎవరంటే ఏలీఫజు, రెయూవేలు, యెయూషు, యాలాము, కోరహు అనే వాళ్ళు.The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

36వీళ్ళలో ఎలీఫజు కొడుకులు తేమాను, ఓమారు, సెపో, గాతాము, కనజు, తిమ్నా అమాలేకు అనేవాళ్ళు.The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz; and by Timna, Amalek.

37రెయూవేలు కొడుకులు నహతు, జెరహు, షమ్మా, మిజ్జా.The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38శేయీరు కొడుకులు, లోతాను, శోబాలు, సిబ్యోను, అనా, దిషోను, ఏసెరు, దిషాను.The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.

39లోతాను కొడుకులు, హోరీ, హోమాములు. లోతాను సోదరి పేరు తిమ్నా.The sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. Timna was Lotan’s sister.

40శోబాలు కొడుకులు అల్వాను, మనహతు, ఏబాలు, షెపో, ఓనాము. సిబ్యోను కొడుకులు అయ్యా, అనా.The sons of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.

41అనా కొడుకు పేరు దిషోను. దిషోను కొడుకులు హమ్రాను, ఎష్బాను, ఇత్రాను, కెరాను.The son of Anah: Dishon. The sons of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.

42ఏసెరు కొడుకులు బిల్హాను, జవాను, యహకాను. దిషాను కొడుకులు ఊజు, అరాను.The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

43ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను ఏ రాజూ పరిపాలించక ముందే ఏదోం దేశంలో ఈ రాజులు పరిపాలించారు. బెయోరు కొడుకు బెల. అతని పట్టణం పేరు దిన్హాబా.These are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the Israelites: Bela son of Beor. His city was named Dinhabah.

44బెల చనిపోయిన తరువాత అతని స్థానంలో యోబాబు అనేవాడు రాజు అయ్యాడు. ఇతడు బొస్రా అనే ఊరికి చెందిన జెరహు కొడుకు.When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah reigned in his place.

45యోబాబు చనిపోయిన తరువాత అతని స్థానంలో తేమాను ప్రాంతం వాడయిన హుషాము రాజు అయ్యాడు.When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.

46హుషాము చనిపోయిన తరువాత మోయాబు దేశంలో మిద్యానీయులను ఓడించిన వాడూ, బెదెదు కొడుకూ అయిన హదదు అతని స్థానంలో రాజు అయ్యాడు. ఇతడి పట్టణం పేరు అవీతు.When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Avith.

47హదదు చనిపోయిన తరువాత మశ్రేకా అనే ఊరికి చెందిన శమ్లా అతని స్థానంలో రాజు అయ్యాడు.When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah reigned in his place.

48శమ్లా చనిపోయిన తరువాత నది తీరంలో ఉన్న రహెబోతు అనే ఊరికి చెందిన షావూలు అతని స్థానంలో రాజు అయ్యాడు.When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the Euphrates reigned in his place.

49షావూలు చనిపోయిన తరువాత అతని స్థానంలో బయల్‌ హానాను రాజు అయ్యాడు. ఇతని తండ్రి అక్బోరు.When Shaul died, Baal-hanan son of Achbor reigned in his place.

50బయల్‌ హానాను చనిపోయిన తరువాత హదదు అనేవాడు అతని స్థానంలో రాజు అయ్యాడు. ఇతని పట్టణం పేరు పాయు. ఇతని భార్యపేరు మెహేతబేలు. ఈమె తల్లి పేరు మత్రేదు. ఈమె మేజాహాబుకు పుట్టింది.When Baal-hanan died, Hadad reigned in his place. His city was named Pau, and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.

51హదదు చనిపోయిన తరువాత ఎదోములో నాయకులెవరంటే తిమ్నా, అల్వా, యతేతు,Then Hadad died. Now the chiefs of Edom were Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,

52అహలీబామా, ఏలా, పీనోను,Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,

53కనజు, తేమాను, మిబ్సారు,Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,

54మగ్దీయేలు, ఈలాము అనేవాళ్ళు. వీళ్ళంతా ఎదోము దేశానికి నాయకులుగా ఉన్నారు.Magdiel, and Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
