9 ULB అక్కడున్న ఒక గుహలో ఉండిపోయాడు. యెహోవా <<ఏలీయా, ఇక్కడ నువ్వేం చేస్తున్నావ్>> అని అతనిని అడిగాడు. BSB BSB: There Elijah entered a cave and spent the night. And the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

I am the only one left, and they are seeking my life as well.”
11 ULB యెహోవా అతనితో <<నీవు వెళ్లి పర్వతం మీద నా ఎదుట నిలబడు>> అన్నాడు. అప్పుడు యెహోవా అటుగా వెళ్ళగానే ప్రచండమైన గాలి లేచింది. పర్వతాలు బద్దలై బండరాళ్ళు ముక్కలైపోయాయి గాని యెహోవా ఆ గాలిలో లేడు. గాలి వెళ్లిపోయిన తరువాత భూకంపం వచ్చింది గాని ఆ భూకంపంలో యెహోవా లేడు. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the LORD. Behold, the LORD is about to pass by.” And a great and mighty wind tore into the mountains and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.
12 ULB ఆ భూకంపం వెళ్ళిపోయిన తరువాత అగ్ని జ్వాలలు కన్పించాయి గాని ఆ అగ్నిలో యెహోవా లేడు. అగ్ని ఆగిపోగానే చాలా నెమ్మదిగా మాట్లాడే ఒక స్వరం వినిపించింది. BSB BSB: After the earthquake there was a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a still, small voice.
13 ULB ఏలీయా ఆ స్వరం విని, తన దుప్పటితో ముఖం కప్పుకుని బయలుదేరి గుహ ఎదుట నిలబడ్డాడు. అప్పుడు <<ఏలీయా, ఇక్కడ నువ్వేం చేస్తున్నావ్?>> అనే మాట వినిపించింది. BSB BSB: When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

17 ULB హజాయేలు కత్తిని తప్పించుకొనే వారిని యెహూ చంపేస్తాడు. యెహూ కత్తిని తప్పించుకొనే వారిని ఎలీషా చంపేస్తాడు. BSB BSB: Then Jehu will put to death whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death whoever escapes the sword of Jehu.
18 ULB అయినా ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల్లో బయలుకు మొక్కకుండా, వాడి విగ్రహాన్ని ముద్దు పెట్టుకోకుండా ఇంకా 7,000 మంది నాకు మిగిలి ఉన్నారు.>> BSB BSB: Nevertheless, I have reserved seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.”
19 ULB ఏలీయా అక్కడ నుండి వెళ్లిన తరువాత అతనికి షాపాతు కొడుకు ఎలీషా కనిపించాడు. అతడు తన దగ్గరున్న పన్నెండు జతల ఎడ్లతో దుక్కి దున్నిస్తూ పన్నెండవ కాడి తానే తోలుతున్నాడు. ఏలీయా అతని దగ్గరికి వెళ్లి తన పైబట్టను అతని మీద వేశాడు. BSB BSB: So Elijah departed and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve teams of oxen, and he was with the twelfth team. Elijah passed by him and threw his cloak around him.

BSB BSB: So Elisha left the oxen, ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me kiss my father and mother goodbye, and then I will follow you.” “Go on back,” Elijah replied, “for what have I done to you?”

BSB BSB: So Elisha turned back from him, took his pair of oxen, and slaughtered them. Using the oxen’s equipment for fuel, he cooked the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow and serve Elijah.
