7 ULB అతడు యూదా వారికి ఈ విధంగా ప్రకటన చేశాడు<<మనం మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాను ఆశ్రయించాము. అందువలన ఆయన మన చుట్టూ నెమ్మది కలిగించాడు. దేశంలో మనం నిరభ్యంతరంగా తిరగవచ్చు. మనం ఈ పట్టణాలను కట్టించి, వాటికి ప్రాకారాలను, గోపురాలను, గుమ్మాలను, ద్వారబంధాలను అమర్చుదాం.>> కాబట్టి వారు పట్టణాలను నిర్మించి వృద్ధి పొందారు. BSB BSB: So he said to the people of Judah, “Let us build these cities and surround them with walls and towers, with doors and bars. The land is still ours because we have sought the LORD our God. We have sought Him, and He has given us rest on every side.” So they built and prospered.
8 ULB ఆ కాలంలో యూదా వారిలో డాళ్ళు, ఈటెలు పట్టుకొనే వారు 3,00,000 మంది ఉన్నారు. యూదావారితోనూ, కవచాలు ధరించి బాణాలు వేసే 2,80,000 మంది బెన్యామీనీయులతోనూ కూడిన సైన్యం ఆసాకు ఉంది. వీరంతా పరాక్రమవంతులు. BSB BSB: Asa had an army of 300,000 men from Judah bearing large shields and spears, and 280,000 men from Benjamin bearing small shields and drawing the bow. All these were mighty men of valor.

11 ULB ఆసా తన దేవుడు యెహోవాకు మొర్రపెట్టి<<యెహోవా, మహా సైన్యం చేతిలో ఓడిపోకుండా బలం లేనివారికి సహాయం చేయడానికి నీకన్నా ఇంకెవరూ లేరు. మా దేవా, యెహోవా, మాకు సహాయం చెయ్యి. నిన్నే నమ్ముకున్నాము. నీ నామాన్ని బట్టే ఈ గొప్ప సైన్యాన్ని ఎదిరించడానికి బయలుదేరాము. యెహోవా! నువ్వే మా దేవుడివి. మానవమాత్రులను నీ మీద జయం పొందనీయకు>> అని ప్రార్థించాడు. BSB BSB: Then Asa cried out to the LORD his God: “O LORD, there is no one besides You to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on You, and in Your name we have come against this multitude. O LORD, You are our God. Do not let a mere mortal prevail against You.”
12 ULB అప్పుడు యెహోవా ఆ కూషీయులను ఆసా ఎదుటా, యూదా వారి ఎదుటా నిలబడనియ్యకుండా వారిని దెబ్బ తీసిన కారణంగా వారు పారిపోయారు. BSB BSB: So the LORD struck down the Cushites before Asa and Judah, and the Cushites fled.
13 ULB ఆసా, అతనితో ఉన్నవారూ గెరారు వరకూ వారిని తరిమారు. కూషీయులు తిరిగి లేవలేక యెహోవా భయం చేతా ఆయన సైన్యం భయం చేతా పారిపోయారు. యూదా వారు విస్తారమైన కొల్లసొమ్ము పట్టుకున్నారు. BSB BSB: Then Asa and his army pursued them as far as Gerar. The Cushites fell and could not recover, for they were crushed before the LORD and His army. So the people of Judah carried off a great amount of plunder
14 ULB గెరారు చుట్టూ ఉన్న పట్టణాల్లోని వారందరి మీదికీ యెహోవా భయం ఆవరించింది కాబట్టి యూదా సైన్యం వాటన్నిటినీ కొల్లగొట్టి, వాటిలో ఉన్న విస్తారమైన సొమ్మంతటినీ దోచుకున్నారు. BSB BSB: and attacked all the cities around Gerar, because the terror of the LORD had fallen upon them. They plundered all the cities, since there was much plunder there.
15 ULB అక్కడి పశువుల శాలలను పడగొట్టి, విస్తారమైన గొర్రెలనూ ఒంటెలనూ సమకూర్చుకుని యెరూషలేముకు తిరిగి వచ్చారు. BSB BSB: They also attacked the tents of the herdsmen and carried off many sheep and camels. Then they returned to Jerusalem.
