5 ULB క్రీస్తు పడిన బాధలు మాలో అధికమయ్యే కొద్దీ, క్రీస్తు ఆదరణ కూడా మాలో అంతకంతకూ అధికం అవుతూ ఉంది. BSB BSB: For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

BSB BSB: We do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the hardships we encountered in the province of Asia. We were under a burden far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life.
9 ULB వాస్తవంగా, మాకు మరణదండన విధించినట్టు అనిపించింది. అయితే చనిపోయిన వారిని లేపే దేవుని మీద తప్ప, మా మీద మేము నమ్మకం ఉంచకుండేలా అలా జరిగింది. BSB BSB: Indeed, we felt we were under the sentence of death, in order that we would not trust in ourselves, but in God, who raises the dead.

BSB BSB: For this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in relation to you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God—not in worldly wisdom, but in the grace of God.
13 ULB మీరు చదివి అర్థం చేసుకోలేని సంగతులేవీ మీకు రాయడం లేదు. BSB BSB: For we do not write you anything that is beyond your ability to read and understand. And I hope that you will understand us completely,
14 ULB మీరు ఇప్పటికే కొంతవరకూ మమ్మల్ని అర్థం చేసుకున్నారు. కడవరకూ అర్థం చేసుకుంటారని ఆశాభావంతో ఉన్నాం. మన యేసు ప్రభువు దినాన, మీరు మాకూ, మేము మీకూ గర్వ కారణంగా ఉంటాం. BSB BSB: as you have already understood us in part, that you may boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of our Lord Jesus.
15 ULB ఈ నమ్మకంతో నేను మొదట మీ దగ్గరికి రావాలనుకున్నాను. దీనివలన మీకు రెండు సార్లు ప్రయోజనం కలగాలని నా ఉద్దేశం. BSB BSB: Confident of this, I planned to visit you first, so that you might receive a double blessing.

BSB BSB: For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was proclaimed among you by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not “Yes” and “No,” but in Him it has always been “Yes.”
20 ULB దేవుని వాగ్దానాలన్నీ క్రీస్తులో, “అవును” గానే ఉన్నాయి. కాబట్టి దేవుని మహిమ కోసం ఆయన ద్వారా మనం, “ఆమెన్” అంటున్నాం. BSB BSB: For all the promises of God are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him, our “Amen” is spoken to the glory of God.

24 ULB మీ విశ్వాసం మీద పెత్తనం చెలాయించే ఉద్దేశం మాకు లేదు. మీరు మీ విశ్వాసంలో నిలిచి ఉండగా మీ ఆనందం కోసం మీతో కలిసి పని చేస్తున్నాము. BSB BSB: Not that we lord it over your faith, but we are fellow workers with you for your joy, because it is by faith that you stand firm.
