2 ULB పుట్టినప్పటి నుండి కుంటివాడుగా ఉన్న ఒకణ్ణి కొందరు ప్రతిరోజూ మోసుకొచ్చి ‘సౌందర్యం’ అనే దేవాలయ ద్వారం దగ్గర ఉంచేవారు. వాడు దేవాలయంలోకి వెళ్ళేవారి దగ్గర బిచ్చమెత్తుకునే వాడు. BSB BSB: And a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those entering the temple courts.
3 ULB పేతురు యోహాను దేవాలయంలోకి ప్రవేశిస్తూ ఉండగా వారిని బిచ్చమడిగాడు. BSB BSB: When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
4 ULB పేతురు యోహాను వాడిని తదేకంగా చూస్తూ, “మా వైపు చూడు” అన్నారు. BSB BSB: Peter looked directly at him, as did John. “Look at us!” said Peter.
5 ULB అతడు వారి దగ్గర ఏమైనా దొరుకుతుందేమోనని ఆశించి వారివైపు చూశాడు. BSB BSB: So the man gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

7 ULB వాడి కుడి చెయ్యి పట్టుకొని పైకి లేపాడు. వెంటనే వాని పాదాలూ, చీలమండలూ బలం పొందాయి. BSB BSB: Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up, and at once the man’s feet and ankles were made strong.
8 ULB వాడు వెంటనే లేచి నడవడం మొదలు పెట్టాడు. నడుస్తూ గంతులు వేస్తూ దేవుణ్ణి స్తుతిస్తూ వారితో పాటు దేవాలయంలోకి వెళ్ళాడు. BSB BSB: He sprang to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and leaping and praising God.
9 ULB వాడు నడుస్తూ దేవుణ్ణి కీర్తించడం ప్రజలందరూ చూశారు. BSB BSB: When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 ULB ‘సౌందర్యం అనే దేవాలయ ద్వారం దగ్గర అడుక్కోడానికి కూర్చున్నవాడు వీడే’ అని గుర్తుపట్టి, అతనికి జరిగిన దాన్ని చూసి ఆశ్చర్యంలో, విస్మయంలో మునిగిపోయారు. BSB BSB: they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
11 ULB వాడు పేతురు, యోహానులను అంటిపెట్టుకుని ఉండగా చూసిన జనమంతా విస్మయం చెంది, సొలొమోను మంటపంలో ఉన్నవారి దగ్గరికి పరుగెత్తుకు వచ్చారు. BSB BSB: While the man clung to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and ran to them in the walkway called Solomon’s Colonnade.
12 ULB పేతురు దీన్ని చూసి ప్రజలతో ఇలా అన్నాడు, “ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, దీని గురించి మీరెందుకు ఆశ్చర్యపడుతున్నారు? మా సొంత శక్తితోనో, భక్తితోనో ఇతడు నడిచేలా చేశామన్నట్టు మీరెందుకు మా వైపు అదేపనిగా చూస్తున్నారు? BSB BSB: And when Peter saw this, he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why are you surprised by this? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
13 ULB అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబుల దేవుడు, అంటే మన పూర్వికుల దేవుడు తన సేవకుడైన యేసును మహిమ పరిచాడు. అయితే మీరాయన్ని పిలాతుకు అప్పగించారు, అతడు ఆయనను విడుదల చేయడానికి నిశ్చయించుకున్నపుడు మీరు అతని ముందు ఆయనను తిరస్కరించారు. BSB BSB: The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus. You handed Him over and rejected Him before Pilate, even though he had decided to release Him.

15 ULB మీరు జీవానికి కర్తను చంపించారు కానీ దేవుడు ఆయనను మృతుల్లో నుండి లేపాడు. అందుకు మేమే సాక్షులం. BSB BSB: You killed the Author of life, but God raised Him from the dead, and we are witnesses of this fact.

BSB BSB: By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence.
17 ULB సోదరులారా, మీరూ మీ నాయకులూ తెలియక చేశారని నాకు తెలుసు. BSB BSB: And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.
18 ULB అయితే తన క్రీస్తు తప్పక బాధల పాలు కావాలని దేవుడు ప్రవక్తలందరి ద్వారా ముందే తెలియజేసిన సంగతులను ఆయన ఇప్పుడు ఈ విధంగా నెరవేర్చాడు. BSB BSB: But in this way God has fulfilled what He foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Christ would suffer.
19 ULB కాబట్టి మీ పాపాల ప్రక్షాళన కోసం పశ్చాత్తాపపడి తిరగండి. అప్పుడు ప్రభువు సన్నిధి నుండి విశ్రాంతి కాలాలు వస్తాయి. BSB BSB: Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away,
20 ULB అభిషిక్తుడైన క్రీస్తు యేసును మీ కోసం ఆయన పంపుతాడు. మీ పాపాలు తుడిచి వేస్తాడు. BSB BSB: that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you.
23 ULB ఆ ప్రవక్త చెప్పినదాన్ని పెడచెవిన పెట్టేవాడు ప్రజల్లో ఉండకుండా సర్వనాశనమై పోతాడు. BSB BSB: Everyone who does not listen to Him will be completely cut off from among his people.’
24 ULB “సమూయేలుతో మొదలుపెట్టి మిగతా ప్రవక్తలంతా ఈ రోజుల గురించి ముందుగానే చెప్పారు. BSB BSB: Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have proclaimed these days.
25 ULB ‘నీ సంతానం ద్వారా భూమి మీద ఉన్న కుటుంబాలన్నిటినీ ఆశీర్వదిస్తాను’ అని దేవుడు అబ్రాహాముతో చెప్పినట్టుగా మీరు ప్రవక్తలకూ నిబంధనకూ వారసులు. ఆ నిబంధనను దేవుడు మీ పూర్వికులతో చేశాడు. BSB BSB: And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers when He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.’
26 ULB దేవుడు తన సేవకుని లేవనెత్తి, మీలో ప్రతివానినీ వాని దుష్టత్వం నుండి తప్పించడం ద్వారా మిమ్మల్ని ఆశీర్వదించడానికి ఆయనను మొదట మీ దగ్గరికి పంపాడు.” BSB BSB: When God raised up His Servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
