6 ULB దీని గురించి యెహోవా మనస్సు మార్చుకుని <<అది కూడా జరగదు>> అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: So the LORD relented from this plan. “It will not happen either,” said the Lord GOD.
7 ULB ఆయన నాకిది చూపించాడు. చూడు, మట్టపు గుండు చేతిలో పట్టుకుని ప్రభువు గోడ పక్కన నిలబడ్డాడు. BSB BSB: This is what He showed me: Behold, the Lord was standing by a wall true to plumb, with a plumb line in His hand.
8 ULB యెహోవా నాతో ఇలా అన్నాడు. <<ఆమోసూ, నువ్వేం చూస్తున్నావు?>> <<మట్టపు గుండు>> అన్నాను. అప్పుడు ప్రభువు ఇలా అన్నాడు. <<నా ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మధ్య నేను మట్టపు గుండు వేయబోతున్నాను. ఇక ఏమాత్రం నేను వాళ్ళను వదిలిపెట్టను. BSB BSB: “Amos, what do you see?” asked the LORD. “A plumb line,” I replied. “Behold,” said the Lord, “I am setting a plumb line among My people Israel; I will no longer spare them:
9 ULB ఇస్సాకు వంశం వారి ఉన్నత స్థలాలు నాశనమవుతాయి. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రతిష్ఠిత స్థలాలు పాడైపోతాయి. యరొబాము వంశానికి విరోధంగా కత్తి ఎత్తుతాను.>> BSB BSB: The high places of Isaac will be deserted, and the sanctuaries of Israel will be laid waste; and I will rise up against the house of Jeroboam with My sword.”
10 ULB అప్పుడు బేతేలు యాజకుడు అమజ్యా, ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు యరొబాముకు ఇలా కబురు పంపాడు <<ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మధ్య, ఆమోసు నీ మీద కుట్ర చేస్తున్నాడు. అతని మాటలు దేశం సహించలేదు.>> BSB BSB: Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent word to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, “Amos has conspired against you in the midst of the house of Israel. The land cannot bear all his words,
11 ULB అప్పుడు ఆమోసు, యరొబాము కత్తితో చస్తాడు. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తప్పకుండా తమ దేశాన్నివిడిచి బందీలుగా వెళతారు అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: for this is what Amos has said: ‘Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel will surely go into exile, away from their homeland.’”
12 ULB అమజ్యా ఆమోసుతో ఇట్లన్నాడు. <<దీర్ఘదర్శీ, వెళ్ళిపో! యూదా దేశానికి పారిపో. అక్కడే ప్రవచించుకుంటూ పొట్ట పోసుకో. BSB BSB: And Amaziah said to Amos, “Go away, you seer! Flee to the land of Judah; earn your bread there and do your prophesying there.
13 ULB బేతేలులో ఇంక ఎంత మాత్రం ప్రవచించవద్దు. రాజు నివసించే స్థలం, రాజభవనం ఇక్కడ ఉన్నాయి.>> BSB BSB: But never prophesy at Bethel again, because it is the sanctuary of the king and the temple of the kingdom.”
14 ULB అందుకు ఆమోసు అమజ్యాతో ఇలా అన్నాడు. <<నేను ప్రవక్తను కాదు, ప్రవక్త కొడుకును కూడా కాదు. నేను గొర్రెల కాపరిని. మేడి చెట్లు చూసుకుంటాను. BSB BSB: “I was not a prophet,” Amos replied, “nor was I the son of a prophet; rather, I was a herdsman and a tender of sycamore-fig trees.
15 ULB అయితే, నేను నా మందలను కాస్తూ ఉంటే యెహోవా నన్ను పిలిచి, <నువ్వు వెళ్లి నా ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలు వారికి ప్రవచించు> అన్నాడు.>> BSB BSB: But the LORD took me from following the flock and said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’
16 ULB అందుచేత యెహోవా మాట వినండి. మీరిలా అంటున్నారు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను గురించి ప్రవచించవద్దు. ఇస్సాకు వంశానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా మాట జారవద్దు. BSB BSB: Now, therefore, hear the word of the LORD. You say: ‘Do not prophesy against Israel; do not preach against the house of Isaac.’
17 ULB యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమిటంటే, నీ భార్య పట్టణంలో వేశ్య అవుతుంది. నీ కొడుకులూ కూతుళ్ళు కత్తితో హతమౌతారు. శత్రువులు నీ భూమిని కొలిచి పంచుకుంటారు. నువ్వు అపవిత్ర దేశంలో ప్రాణం విడుస్తావు. కచ్చితంగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తమ దేశం విడిచి బందీలవుతారు. BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘Your wife will become a prostitute in the city, and your sons and daughters will fall by the sword. Your land will be divided by a measuring line, and you yourself will die on pagan soil. And Israel will surely go into exile, away from their homeland.’”
