Ephesians 5 (ULB)

1కాబట్టి మీరు దేవుని పిల్లల్లాగా ఆయనను పోలి జీవించండి.Be imitators of God, therefore, as beloved children,

2క్రీస్తు మనలను ప్రేమించి మనకోసం దేవునికి పరిమళమైన అర్పణగా, తనను తానే బలిగా అప్పగించుకున్నాడు. అలాంటి ప్రేమనే మీరూ కలిగి ఉండండి.and walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant sacrificial offering to God.

3మీలో వ్యభిచారం, అపవిత్రత, అసూయ, ఇవేవీ ఉండకూడదు. కనీసం మీరు వాటి పేరైనా ఎత్తకూడదు. ఇదే పరిశుద్ధులకు తగిన ప్రవర్తన.But among you, as is proper among the saints, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed.

4కృతజ్ఞత మాటలే మీ నోటి వెంట రావాలిగానీ అసభ్యమైన మాటలు, మూర్ఖపు మాటలు, రెండు అర్థాలతో కూడిన మాటలు మీరు పలక కూడదు. ఇవి మీకు తగినవి కావు.Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk, or crude joking, which are out of character, but rather thanksgiving.

5మీకు తెలుసు. వ్యభిచారులూ అపవిత్రులూ అత్యాశపరులూ క్రీస్తుకూ, దేవునికీ చెందిన రాజ్యానికి అర్హులు కారు. అత్యాశాపరులు విగ్రహారాధికులతో సమానం.For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or greedy person (that is, an idolater) has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

6పనికిమాలిన మాటలు పలికేవారి వల్ల మోసపోకండి. అలాటి వాటివల్ల అవిధేయుల పైకి దేవుని ఉగ్రత వస్తుంది.Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience.

7కాబట్టి వారికి దూరంగా ఉండండి.Therefore do not be partakers with them.

8గత కాలంలో మీరు చీకటియై ఉన్నారు. అయితే ఇప్పుడు ప్రభువులో వెలుగుగా ఉన్నారు. వెలుగు సంబంధుల్లాగా నడుచుకోండి.For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

9ఎందుకంటే వెలుగు ఫలం మంచితనం, నీతి, సత్యం.for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.

10కాబట్టి ప్రభువుకు ఇష్టమైనదేదో చూపుతూ,Test and prove what pleases the Lord.

11పనికిమాలిన చీకటి పనుల్లో పాల్గొనక, వాటిని ఖండించండి.Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

12ఎందుకంటే వారు రహస్యంగా జరిగించే ఆ పనులను గురించి మాటలాడడం కూడా చాలా అవమానకరం.For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

13ప్రతి పనీ వెలుగు చేత బట్టబయలు అవుతుంది. వెలుగు ప్రతిచోటా ప్రకాశిస్తూనే ఉంటుంది కదా?But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that is illuminated becomes a light itself.

14బట్టబయలైన ప్రతిదీ వెలుగే. అందుకే, నిద్రిస్తున్న నువ్వు మేలుకో. చనిపోయిన వారిలో నుండి లే. క్రీస్తు నీ మీద ప్రకాశిస్తాడు, అని రాసి ఉంది.So it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

15బుద్ధిహీనుల్లా కాక వివేకంగా జీవించడానికి జాగ్రత్త పడండి.Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,

16సమయం సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోండి. ఎందుకంటే రోజులు చెడ్డవి.redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17అందుకే మీరు మూర్ఖంగా ఉండక ప్రభువు సంకల్పమేమిటో తెలుసుకోండి.Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

18మద్యం సేవించి మత్తులో మునిగిపోకండి. అది విపరీత ప్రవర్తనకు దారి తీస్తుంది. అయితే పరిశుద్ధాత్మతో నిండి ఉండండి.Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to reckless indiscretion. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.

19కీర్తనలతో సంగీతాలతో ఆత్మసంబంధమైన పాటలతో ఒకరినొకరు ప్రోత్సహించుకుంటూ, ప్రభువును గూర్చి మీ హృదయాల్లో పాడుతూ కీర్తించండి.Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord,

20ప్రభు యేసు క్రీస్తు నామంలో అన్నిటిని గురించీ తండ్రి అయిన దేవునికి అన్ని పరిస్థితుల్లో కృతజ్ఞతా స్తుతులు చెల్లించండి.always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

21క్రీస్తుపై ఉన్న భక్తి కొద్దీ ఒకరికొకరు లోబడి ఉండండి.Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

22స్త్రీలు ప్రభువుకు లోబడినట్టే తమ భర్తలకు లోబడాలి.Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.

23క్రీస్తు సంఘానికి ఏ విధంగా తలగా ఉన్నాడో అలాగే భర్త తన భార్యకు తలగా ఉన్నాడు. క్రీస్తే సంఘమనే శరీరానికి రక్షకుడు.For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior.

24సంఘం క్రీస్తుకు లోబడిన విధంగానే భార్యలు కూడా ప్రతి విషయంలో తమ భర్తలకు లోబడాలి.Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

25పురుషులారా, మీరు కూడా సంఘాన్ని క్రీస్తు ప్రేమించిన విధంగానే మీ భార్యలను ప్రేమించాలి.Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her

26సంఘాన్ని వాక్యమనే నీటి స్నానంతో శుద్ధిచేసి, పవిత్రపరచడానికి,to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,

27దాన్ని కళంకంగానీ, మడతలుగానీ అలాటిది మరేదీ లేకుండా పవిత్రంగా నిర్దోషంగా మహిమగలదిగా తన ఎదుట నిలబెట్టుకోవాలని, దానికోసం తనను తాను సమర్పించుకున్నాడు.and to present her to Himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.

28అలాగే పురుషులకు కూడా తమ సొంత శరీరాల్లాగానే తమ భార్యలను ప్రేమించవలసిన బాధ్యత ఉంది. తన భార్యను ప్రేమించేవాడు తనను ప్రేమించుకొన్నట్టే.In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

29ఎవడూ తన శరీరాన్ని ద్వేషించడు, ప్రతి ఒక్కడూ దాన్ని పోషించి సంరక్షించుకుంటాడు.Indeed, no one ever hated his own body, but he nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church.

30మనం సంఘమనే క్రీస్తు శరీరంలో అవయవాలుగా ఉన్నాం కాబట్టి క్రీస్తు కూడా తన సంఘాన్ని పోషించి సంరక్షిస్తున్నాడు.For we are members of His body.

31“ఇందువలన పురుషుడు తన తండ్రిని తల్లిని విడిచి తన భార్యను హత్తుకుంటాడు, వారిద్దరూ ఒక్క శరీరమవుతారు”“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”

32ఈ మాటల అర్థం గ్రహించడం కష్టం. అయితే నేను క్రీస్తును గూర్చీ సంఘం గూర్చీ చెబుతున్నాను.This mystery is profound, but I am speaking about Christ and the church.

33చివరిగా నేను చెప్పేది, మీలో ప్రతి పురుషుడూ తనను తాను ఎంత ప్రేమించుకుంటాడో అంతగా తన భార్యను ప్రేమించాలి. అలాగే భార్య తన భర్తను గౌరవించాలి.Nevertheless, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
