2 ULB ఎవరైనా దొంగతనం చేస్తూ దొరికిపోతే వాణ్ణి చనిపోయేలా కొట్టినప్పుడు కొట్టిన వాళ్ళ మీద నేరం ఉండదు. BSB BSB: If a thief is caught breaking in and is beaten to death, no one shall be guilty of bloodshed.
3 ULB సూర్యుడు ఉదయించిన తరువాత దొంగతనానికి వచ్చిన వాణ్ణి కొట్టిన వ్యక్తి పై హత్యానేరం ఉంటుంది. దొంగిలించిన సొత్తు తిరిగి చెల్లించాలి. దొంగ దగ్గర చెల్లించడానికి ఏమీ లేకపోతే వాడు దొంగతనం చేశాడు కాబట్టి వాణ్ణి బానిసగా అమ్మివేయాలి. BSB BSB: But if it happens after sunrise, there is guilt for his bloodshed. A thief must make full restitution; if he has nothing, he himself shall be sold for his theft.
4 ULB దొంగిలించిన ఎద్దు గానీ, గాడిద గానీ, గొర్రె గానీ ఏదైనా సరే, ప్రాణంతో దొరికితే వాడు దానికి రెండు రెట్లు చెల్లించాలి. BSB BSB: If what was stolen is actually found alive in his possession—whether ox or donkey or sheep—he must pay back double.
5 ULB ఒకడు తన పశువును మేత మేయడానికి తన పొలం లోకి గానీ, ద్రాక్ష తోటలోకి గానీ వదిలినప్పుడు అది వేరొక వ్యక్తి పొలంలో మేస్తే ఆ పొలం యజమానికి తన పంటలో, ద్రాక్షతోటలో శ్రేష్ఠమైనది తిరిగి చెల్లించాలి. BSB BSB: If a man grazes his livestock in a field or vineyard and allows them to stray so that they graze in someone else’s field, he must make restitution from the best of his own field or vineyard.
6 ULB నిప్పు రాజుకుని ముళ్ళకంపలు అంటుకోవడం వల్ల వేరొకరి పంట కుప్పలైనా, పొలంలో పైరులైనా, పొలమైనా తగలబడి పోతే నిప్పు అంటించిన వాడు జరిగిన నష్టాన్ని పూడ్చాలి. BSB BSB: If a fire breaks out and spreads to thornbushes so that it consumes stacked or standing grain, or the whole field, the one who started the fire must make full restitution.
7 ULB ఒక వ్యక్తి సొమ్మును గానీ, సామాన్లు గానీ జాగ్రత్త చెయ్యమని తన పొరుగు వాడికి అప్పగించినప్పుడు ఆ వ్యక్తి ఇంట్లో దొంగతనం జరిగినట్టయితే ఆ దొంగ దొరికిన పక్షంలో వాడు దానికి రెండు రెట్లు చెల్లించాలి. BSB BSB: If a man gives his neighbor money or goods for safekeeping and they are stolen from the neighbor’s house, the thief, if caught, must pay back double.
8 ULB ఒకవేళ ఆ దొంగ దొరకని పక్షంలో ఆ ఇంటి యజమాని తన పొరుగువాడి వస్తువులు తీసుకున్నాడో లేదో పరిష్కారం చేసుకోవడానికి న్యాయాధికారుల దగ్గరికి రావాలి. BSB BSB: If the thief is not found, the owner of the house must appear before the judges to determine whether he has taken his neighbor’s property.
9 ULB ఎద్దులు, గాడిదలు, గొర్రెలు, దుస్తులు వంటి ప్రతి విధమైన వాటి అపహరణ గూర్చిన ఆజ్ఞ ఇదే. పోగొట్టుకున్నవాడు వాటిని చూసి, అవి నావి అని వాదించినప్పుడు ఆ విషయంలో పరిష్కారం కోసం న్యాయాధికారుల దగ్గరికి రావాలి. న్యాయాధిపతి ఎవరి మీద నేరం రుజువు చేస్తాడో వాడు తన పొరుగువాడికి రెండు రెట్లు చెల్లించాలి. BSB BSB: In all cases of illegal possession of an ox, a donkey, a sheep, a garment, or any lost item that someone claims, ‘This is mine,’ both parties shall bring their cases before the judges. The one whom the judges find guilty must pay back double to his neighbor.
10 ULB ఒకడు గాడిద, ఎద్దు, గొర్రె, మరి ఏ జంతువునైనా కాపాడమని తన పొరుగు వాడికి అప్పగించినప్పుడు, అది చనిపోయినా, గాయపడినా, లేదా ఎవరూ చూడకుండా ఎవరైనా వాటిని తోలుకు పోయినా, BSB BSB: If a man gives a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any other animal to be cared for by his neighbor, but it dies or is injured or stolen while no one is watching,
11 ULB అ వ్యక్తి తన పొరుగువాడి సొమ్మును తాను దొంగిలించలేదని యెహోవా నామం పేరట ప్రమాణం చెయ్యాలి. ఆ ప్రమాణం వారిద్దరి మధ్యనే ఉండాలి. ఆస్తి స్వంత దారుడు దానికి సమ్మతించాలి. జరిగిన నష్టపరిహారం చెల్లించనక్కర లేదు. BSB BSB: an oath before the LORD shall be made between the parties to determine whether or not the man has taken his neighbor’s property. The owner must accept the oath and require no restitution.

17 ULB ఒకవేళ ఆమె తండ్రి ఆమెను అతనికిచ్చేందుకు నిరాకరిస్తే వాడు కన్యల కట్నం ప్రకారం సొమ్ము చెల్లించాలి. BSB BSB: If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, the man still must pay an amount comparable to the bridal price of a virgin.
18 ULB మంత్రగత్తెను బతకనివ్వకూడదు. BSB BSB: You must not allow a sorceress to live.
19 ULB జంతువులతో సంపర్కం చేసే ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ మరణశిక్ష విధించాలి. BSB BSB: Whoever lies with an animal must surely be put to death.
20 ULB యెహోవాకు మాత్రమే బలులు అర్పించాలి, వేరొక దేవునికి బలి అర్పించే వాడు శాపానికి గురౌతాడు. BSB BSB: If anyone sacrifices to any god other than the LORD alone, he must be set apart for destruction.
21 ULB పరాయి దేశస్థులను పీడించకూడదు. మీరు ఐగుప్తు దేశంలో పరాయివాళ్ళుగా ఉన్నారు గదా. BSB BSB: You must not exploit or oppress a foreign resident, for you yourselves were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
22 ULB విధవరాళ్ళను, తల్లి తండ్రులు లేని పిల్లలను బాధపెట్టకూడదు. BSB BSB: You must not mistreat any widow or orphan.
23 ULB వాళ్ళను ఏ కారణంతోనైనా నీవు బాధ పెడితే వాళ్ళు పెట్టే మొర నాకు వినబడుతుంది. నేను వాళ్ళ మొరను తప్పకుండా ఆలకిస్తాను. BSB BSB: If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to Me in distress, I will surely hear their cry.
24 ULB నా కోపాగ్ని రగులుకొంటుంది. నా కత్తివేటుతో నిన్ను హతం చేస్తాను. మీ భార్యలు విధవరాళ్ళు అవుతారు. మీ పిల్లలు దిక్కులేని వాళ్ళవుతారు. BSB BSB: My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword; then your wives will become widows and your children will be fatherless.
25 ULB నా ప్రజల్లో మీ దగ్గర ఉండే ఒక పేదవాడికి అప్పుగా సొమ్ము ఇచ్చినప్పుడు వారి పట్ల కఠినంగా ప్రవర్తించ కూడదు. వాళ్ళ దగ్గర వడ్డీ వసూలు చేయకూడదు. BSB BSB: If you lend money to one of My people among you who is poor, you must not act as a creditor to him; you are not to charge him interest.
27 ULB వాళ్ళు ఏమి కప్పుకుని పండుకుంటారు? వాళ్ళ దేహాలు కప్పుకొనే దుస్తులు అవే కదా. వాళ్ళు నాకు మొర పెట్టినప్పుడు నేను వింటాను. నేను దయగల వాణ్ణి. BSB BSB: because his cloak is the only covering he has for his body. What else will he sleep in? And if he cries out to Me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.
28 ULB నువ్వు దేవుణ్ణి దూషించకూడదు. నీ ప్రజల అధికారుల్లో ఎవరినీ శపించ కూడదు. BSB BSB: You must not blaspheme God or curse the ruler of your people.
29 ULB నీ మొదటి కోత అర్పణలు ఇవ్వడంలో ప్రథమ ఫలాలు ఇవ్వడంలో ఆలస్యం చేయకూడదు. నీ కొడుకుల్లో మొదటివాణ్ణి నాకు ప్రతిష్టించాలి. BSB BSB: You must not hold back offerings from your granaries or vats. You are to give Me the firstborn of your sons.
30 ULB అదే విధంగా నీ ఎద్దులు, గొర్రెలు అర్పించాలి. మీరు ప్రతిష్ఠించినవి మొదటి ఏడు రోజులు తమ తల్లి దగ్గర ఉన్న తరువాత ఎనిమిదవ రోజు నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించాలి. BSB BSB: You shall do likewise with your cattle and your sheep. Let them stay with their mothers for seven days, but on the eighth day you are to give them to Me.
31 ULB మీరు నాకు ప్రత్యేకంగా ఉన్న వాళ్ళు గనుక పొలాల్లో మృగాలు చీల్చిన జంతు మాంసం తినకూడదు. దాన్ని కుక్కలకు పారవెయ్యాలి.>> BSB BSB: You are to be My holy people. You must not eat the meat of a mauled animal found in the field; you are to throw it to the dogs.
