4 ULB కొండల్లో ఒక పెద్ద జనసమూహం ఉన్నట్టు వినిపిస్తున్న ఆ శబ్దం వినండి. సమకూడుతున్న రాజ్యాల ప్రజలు చేసే అల్లరి శబ్దం వినండి. సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా యుద్ధం కోసం తన సైన్యాన్ని సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నాడు. BSB BSB: Listen, a tumult on the mountains, like that of a great multitude! Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations gathered together! The LORD of Hosts is mobilizing an army for war.

9 ULB యెహోవా దినం వస్తోంది. దేశాన్ని పాడు చెయ్యడానికీ, పాపులు దానిలో ఉండకుండా పూర్తిగా నాశనం చెయ్యడానికీ క్రూరమైన ఉగ్రతతో, ప్రచండమైన కోపంతో అది వస్తోంది. BSB BSB: Behold, the Day of the LORD is coming—cruel, with fury and burning anger—to make the earth a desolation and to destroy the sinners within it.

11 ULB చెడుతనాన్ని బట్టి ఈ లోకాన్నీ, తమ దోషాన్ని బట్టి దుష్టులనూ శిక్షిస్తాను. గర్విష్టుల అహంకారం అంతమొందిస్తాను. క్రూరుల అహంకారం అణిచివేస్తాను. BSB BSB: I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their iniquity. I will end the haughtiness of the arrogant and lay low the pride of the ruthless.
12 ULB బంగారం కన్నా మనుషులనూ, ఓఫీరు దేశపు సువర్ణం కన్నా మానవజాతినీ అరుదుగా ఉండేలా చేస్తాను. BSB BSB: I will make man scarcer than pure gold, and mankind rarer than the gold of Ophir.
13 ULB సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని కురిసే రోజున, ఆయన ఉగ్రతకు ఆకాశం వణికేలా, భూమి తన స్థానం తప్పేలా నేను చేస్తాను. BSB BSB: Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken from its place at the wrath of the LORD of Hosts on the day of His burning anger.

15 ULB దొరికిన ప్రతివాడూ కత్తివాత కూలుతాడు. బందీగా దొరికిన ప్రతివాడూ ఖడ్గంతో చనిపోతాడు. BSB BSB: Whoever is caught will be stabbed, and whoever is captured will die by the sword.
17 ULB చూడు, వాళ్ళ మీద దాడి చెయ్యడానికి నేను మాదీయులను రేపడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నాను. వాళ్ళు వెండిని పట్టించుకోరు. బంగారం కూడా వాళ్ళకు ఆనందం కలిగించదు. BSB BSB: Behold, I will stir up against them the Medes, who have no regard for silver and no desire for gold.
18 ULB వాళ్ళ బాణాలు యువకులను చీలుస్తాయి. దూసుకుపోతాయి. వాళ్ళు పిల్లలను విడిచిపెట్టరు, పసిపిల్లల మీద దయ చూపించరు. BSB BSB: Their bows will dash young men to pieces; they will have no mercy on the fruit of the womb; they will not look with pity on the children.
19 ULB అప్పుడు రాజ్యాల్లో గొప్పదిగా, కల్దీయుల శోభకూ, అతిశయానికీ కారణమైన బబులోను, దేవుడు పాడుచేసిన సొదొమ గొమొర్రాల్లాగా అవుతుంది. BSB BSB: And Babylon, the jewel of the kingdoms, the glory of the pride of the Chaldeans, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah.
20 ULB అది ఇంకెన్నడూ నివాసస్థలంగా ఉండదు. తరతరాల్లో ఇంక దానిలో ఎవడూ కాపురం ఉండడు. అరబీయుడు అక్కడ తన గుడారం వెయ్యడు. గొర్రెల కాపరులు తమ మందలను అక్కడ విశ్రాంతి తీసుకోనివ్వరు. BSB BSB: She will never be inhabited or settled from generation to generation; no nomad will pitch his tent there, no shepherd will rest his flock there.

22 ULB వాళ్ళ కోటల్లో అడవి కుక్కలూ, వాళ్ళ అందమైన రాజమందిరాల్లో నక్కలూ అరుస్తాయి. దాని కాలం దగ్గరపడింది. దాని రోజులు ఇక ఆలస్యం కావు. BSB BSB: Hyenas will howl in her fortresses and jackals in her luxurious palaces. Babylon’s time is at hand, and her days will not be prolonged.
