6 ULB నలిగిపోయిన గడ్డిపరక లాంటి ఐగుప్తుపై ఆధారపడుతున్నావు గదా! ఎవరైనా దాని మీద ఆనుకుంటే అది అతని చేతికి గుచ్చుకుంటుంది. ఐగుప్తు రాజు ఫరో కూడా అలాంటివాడే. BSB BSB: Look now, you are trusting in Egypt, that splintered reed of a staff that will pierce the hand of anyone who leans on it. Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him.
7 ULB మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాను నమ్ముకుంటున్నాం అని అంటారా? ఆ యెహోవా ఉన్నత స్థలాలను, బలిపీఠాలనే కదా హిజ్కియా పడగొట్టి యెరూషలేములో ఉన్న ఈ బలిపీఠం దగ్గర మాత్రమే మీరు పూజలు చేయాలి అని యూదావారికి, యెరూషలేము వారికి ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చింది? BSB BSB: But if you say to me, ‘We trust in the LORD our God,’ is He not the One whose high places and altars Hezekiah has removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, ‘You must worship before this altar’?
8 ULB కాబట్టి నా యజమాని అయిన అష్షూరు రాజుతో పందెం వెయ్యి. రెండు వేల గుర్రాలకు సరిపడిన రౌతులు నీ దగ్గర ఉంటే చెప్పు, నేను వాటిని నీకిస్తాను. BSB BSB: Now, therefore, make a bargain with my master, the king of Assyria. I will give you two thousand horses—if you can put riders on them!
9 ULB నా యజమాని సేవకుల్లో తక్కువ వాడైన ఒక్క అధిపతిని నువ్వు ఎదిరించగలవా? రథాలను, రౌతులను పంపుతాడని ఐగుప్తురాజు మీద ఆశ పెట్టుకున్నావా? BSB BSB: For how can you repel a single officer among the least of my master’s servants when you depend on Egypt for chariots and horsemen?
10 ULB అయినా యెహోవా అనుమతి లేకుండానే ఈ దేశాన్ని నాశనం చేయడానికి నేను వచ్చాననుకున్నావా? లేదు, ఈ దేశం పైకి దండెత్తి దీన్ని నాశనం చేయమని యెహోవాయే నాకు ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు.>> BSB BSB: So now, was it apart from the LORD that I have come up against this land to destroy it? The LORD Himself said to me, ‘Go up against this land and destroy it.’”
11 ULB అప్పుడు ఎల్యాకీము, షెబ్నా, యోవాహులు రబ్షాకేతో <<మేము నీ దాసులం. మాకు సిరియా భాష తెలుసు కాబట్టి దయచేసి ఆ భాషలో మాట్లాడు. ప్రాకారం మీద ఉన్న ప్రజలకు అర్థమయ్యేలా యూదుల భాషలో మాట్లాడవద్దు>> అని అన్నారు. BSB BSB: Then Eliakim, Shebna, and Joah said to the Rabshakeh, “Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, since we understand it. Do not speak to us in Hebrew in the hearing of the people on the wall.”
12 ULB అయితే రబ్షాకే <<ఈ మాటలు చెప్పడానికేనా, నా యజమాని నన్ను నీ యజమాని దగ్గరకీ నీ దగ్గరకీ పంపింది? నీతో కలిసి తమ స్వంత మలాన్ని తిని, తమ మూత్రాన్ని తాగబోతున్న ప్రాకారం మీద ఉన్న వారి దగ్గరకి కూడా పంపాడు కదా>> అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: But the Rabshakeh replied, “Has my master sent me to speak these words only to you and your master, and not to the men sitting on the wall, who are destined with you to eat their own dung and drink their own urine?”

15 ULB <యెహోవా మనలను విడిపిస్తాడు, ఈ పట్టణం అష్షూరు రాజు చేతిలో చిక్కదు> అని చెబుతూ హిజ్కియా మిమ్మల్ని నమ్మిస్తున్నాడు. BSB BSB: Do not let Hezekiah persuade you to trust in the LORD when he says, ‘The LORD will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.’
16 ULB హిజ్కియా చెప్పిన ఆ మాట మీరు అంగీకరించవద్దు. అష్షూరు రాజు చెబుతున్నదేమిటంటే, మీరు బయటికి వచ్చి, నాతో సంధి చేసుకోండి. అప్పుడు మీలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తన ద్రాక్ష, అంజూరు చెట్ల పండ్లు తింటూ తన బావిలో నీళ్లు తాగుతూ ఉంటారు. BSB BSB: Do not listen to Hezekiah, for this is what the king of Assyria says: Make peace with me and come out to me. Then every one of you will eat from his own vine and his own fig tree, and drink water from his own cistern,

18 ULB వివిధ ప్రజల దేవుళ్ళలో ఎవరైనా తన దేశాన్ని అష్షూరు రాజు చేతిలో నుండి విడిపించాడా? హమాతు దేవుళ్ళేమయ్యారు? BSB BSB: Do not let Hezekiah mislead you when he says, ‘The LORD will deliver us.’ Has the god of any nation ever delivered his land from the hand of the king of Assyria?
19 ULB అర్పాదు దేవుళ్ళేమయ్యారు? సెపర్వయీము దేవుళ్ళేమయ్యారు? షోమ్రోను దేశపు దేవుడు నా చేతిలో నుండి షోమ్రోనును విడిపించాడా? BSB BSB: Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Have they delivered Samaria from my hand?
20 ULB ఈ దేవుళ్ళలో ఎవరైనా తన దేశాన్ని నా చేతిలో నుండి విడిపించి ఉంటేనే కదా యెహోవా యెరూషలేమును విడిపిస్తాడు అనుకోడానికి?>> అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: Who among all the gods of these lands has delivered his land from my hand? How then can the LORD deliver Jerusalem from my hand?”
21 ULB అయితే అతనికి జవాబు చెప్పవద్దని రాజు ఆజ్ఞాపించడం వలన వారు బదులు పలకలేదు. BSB BSB: But the people remained silent and did not answer a word, for Hezekiah had commanded, “Do not answer him.”
22 ULB రాజ గృహనిర్వాహకుడు, హిల్కీయా కొడుకు అయిన ఎల్యాకీము, శాస్త్రి షెబ్నా, రాజ్యందస్తావేజుల మీద అధికారి, ఆసాపు కొడుకు యోవాహు తమ బట్టలు చింపుకుని హిజ్కియా దగ్గరికి వచ్చి రబ్షాకే పలికిన మాటలన్నిటినీ తెలియజేశారు. BSB BSB: Then Hilkiah’s son Eliakim the palace administrator, Shebna the scribe, and Asaph’s son Joah the recorder came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn, and they relayed to him the words of the Rabshakeh.
