8 ULB పైగా ‘నాకు భోజనం సిద్ధం చెయ్యి. తువ్వాలు కట్టుకుని నేను భోజనం చేసి ముగించే వరకూ నాకు సేవ చెయ్యి. ఆ తరువాత నువ్వు తినవచ్చు’ అంటాడు. BSB BSB: Instead, won’t he tell him, ‘Prepare my meal and dress yourself to serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you may eat and drink’?
9 ULB తాను ఆజ్ఞాపించిన పనులన్నీ ఆ పనివాడు చక్కగా చేశాడని యజమాని ‘నాపై దయ చూపించావు’ అని వాణ్ణి మెచ్చుకుంటాడా? BSB BSB: Does he thank the servant because he did what he was told?
10 ULB అలాగే మీరు కూడా మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన పనులన్నీ చేసిన తరువాత ‘మేము ఏ యోగ్యతా లేని సేవకులం. మేము చేయాల్సిందే చేశాం’ అని చెప్పాలి.” BSB BSB: So you also, when you have done everything commanded of you, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”
11 ULB ఆయన యెరూషలేముకు ప్రయాణమై దారిలో సమరయ, గలిలయ ప్రాంతాల గుండా వెళ్తూ BSB BSB: While Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee.
12 ULB ఒక గ్రామంలో ప్రవేశించాడు. అక్కడ కుష్టు రోగులు పదిమంది ఆయనకు ఎదురై దూరంగా నిలిచారు. BSB BSB: As He entered one of the villages, He was met by ten lepers. They stood at a distance

22 ULB ఇంకా ఆయన తన శిష్యులతో ఇలా అన్నాడు, “మనుష్య కుమారుడి రోజుల్లో ఒక రోజును చూడాలని మీరు ఎంతగానో కోరుకునే సమయం వస్తుంది. కానీ మీరు ఆ రోజును చూడరు. BSB BSB: Then He said to the disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
23 ULB వారు, ‘ఇదిగో ఇక్కడుంది, అదిగో అక్కడుంది’ అంటారు. మీరు వెళ్ళవద్దు. అసలు వారిని అనుసరించవద్దు. BSB BSB: People will tell you, ‘Look, there He is!’ or ‘Look, here He is!’ Do not go out or chase after them.
24 ULB ఆకాశంలో ఒక దిక్కున తళుక్కున మెరుపు మెరిసి ఆ వెలుగు మరో దిక్కు వరకూ ఎలా ప్రకాశిస్తుందో అలాగే ఆ రోజున మనుష్య కుమారుడు కూడా ఉంటాడు. BSB BSB: For just as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His day.
25 ULB అయితే దీనికి ముందుగా ఆయన అనేక హింసలు పొందాలి. ఈ తరం వారు ఆయనను పూర్తిగా నిరాకరించాలి. BSB BSB: But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26 ULB “నోవహు రోజుల్లో జరిగినట్టు గానే మనుష్య కుమారుడి రోజుల్లో కూడా జరుగుతుంది. BSB BSB: Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man:
27 ULB నోవహు ఓడలోకి వెళ్ళిన రోజు వరకూ ప్రజలు తినడం తాగడం పెళ్ళిళ్ళకు ఇవ్వడం పుచ్చుకోవడం చేస్తూ ఉన్నారు. అప్పుడు జలప్రళయం వచ్చి అందర్నీ నాశనం చేసింది. BSB BSB: People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 ULB లోతు రోజుల్లో జరిగినట్టుగా కూడా జరుగుతుంది. అప్పుడైతే ప్రజలు తింటూ తాగుతూ కొంటూ అమ్ముతూ నాట్లు వేస్తూ ఇళ్ళు కట్టుకుంటూ ఉన్నారు. BSB BSB: It was the same in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
29 ULB అయితే లోతు సొదొమ విడిచి వెళ్ళిన రోజునే ఆకాశం నుండి అగ్ని గంధకాలు కురిసి అందరూ నాశనం అయ్యారు. BSB BSB: But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 ULB “అలాగే మనుష్య కుమారుడు ప్రత్యక్షమయ్యే రోజున కూడా జరుగుతుంది. BSB BSB: It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
31 ULB ఆ రోజున మేడ మీద ఉండేవాడు ఇంట్లో సామాను తీసుకుపోవడం కోసం కిందకు దిగకూడదు. అలాగే పొలంలో పని చేస్తున్న వాడు ఇంటికి తిరిగి రాకూడదు. BSB BSB: On that day, let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve his possessions. Likewise, let no one in the field return for anything he has left behind.
32 ULB లోతు భార్యను జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకోండి. BSB BSB: Remember Lot’s wife!
33 ULB తన ప్రాణాన్ని రక్షించుకోవాలనుకునేవాడు దాన్ని పోగొట్టుకుంటాడు. కానీ తన ప్రాణాన్ని పోగొట్టుకునేవాడు దాన్ని రక్షించుకుంటాడు. BSB BSB: Whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34 ULB నేను చెప్పేదేమిటంటే ఆ రాత్రి ఒక మంచం మీద ఇద్దరు ఉంటే వారిలో ఒకరిని తీసుకుపోవడం. మరొకరిని విడిచి పెట్టడం జరుగుతుంది. BSB BSB: I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed: one will be taken and the other left.
35 ULB ఇద్దరు స్త్రీలు తిరగలి విసరుతూ ఉంటారు. వారిలో ఒకామె వెళ్ళిపోవడం, మరొకామె ఉండిపోవడం జరుగుతుంది. ఇద్దరు పొలంలో పని చేస్తూ ఉంటారు. వారిలో ఒకడు వెళ్ళిపోతాడు. మరొకడు ఉండిపోతాడు.” BSB BSB: Two women will be grinding grain together: one will be taken and the other left.”
36 ULB అప్పుడు శిష్యులు, “ప్రభూ, ఇదంతా ఎక్కడ జరుగుతుంది” అని అడిగారు. BSB BSB: Not in the BSB
37 ULB దానికి జవాబుగా ఆయన, “శవం ఎక్కడ ఉంటే రాబందులు అక్కడ పోగవుతాయి” అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: “Where, Lord?” they asked. Jesus answered, “Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.”
