9 ULB యోహాను ఇలా ప్రకటిస్తున్న రోజుల్లో గలిలయ ప్రాంతంలోని నజరేతు నుండి యేసు వచ్చి యోహాను చేత యొర్దాను నదిలో బాప్తిసం తీసుకున్నాడు. BSB BSB: In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

22 ULB ధర్మశాస్త్ర పండితుల్లాగా కాకుండా అధికారం కలిగిన వాడిలాగా వారికి బోధించడం చూసి వారంతా ఆయన ఉపదేశానికి ఆశ్చర్యపడ్డారు. BSB BSB: The people were astonished at His teaching, because He taught as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.
23 ULB అదే సమయంలో దయ్యం పట్టిన వాడొకడు ఆ సమాజ మందిరంలో ఉన్నాడు. BSB BSB: Suddenly a man with an unclean spirit cried out in the synagogue:
24 ULB వాడు, “నజరేతు వాడవైన యేసూ, మాతో నీకేం పని? మమ్మల్ని నాశనం చెయ్యడానికి వచ్చావా? నీవెవరివో నాకు తెలుసు. నీవు దేవుని పరిశుద్ధుడివి!” అని కేకలు వేశాడు. BSB BSB: “What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
25 ULB యేసు దురాత్మను గద్దిస్తూ, “మాట్లాడకు, ఇతన్ని వదిలి వెళ్ళు” అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: But Jesus rebuked the spirit. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!”
26 ULB ఆ దయ్యం అతన్ని గిజగిజలాడించి పెద్దగా కేకలు పెట్టి అతనిలో నుంచి బయటకు వెళ్ళిపోయింది. BSB BSB: At this, the unclean spirit threw the man into convulsions and came out with a loud shriek.

BSB BSB: All the people were amazed and began to ask one another, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him!”
28 ULB ఆయన్ని గూర్చిన సమాచారం గలిలయ ప్రాంతమంతా త్వరగా వ్యాపించింది. BSB BSB: And the news about Jesus spread quickly through the whole region of Galilee.
30 ULB సీమోను అత్త జ్వరంతో మంచం పట్టి ఉంది. వెంటనే వారు ఆమె గురించి ఆయనతో చెప్పారు. BSB BSB: Simon’s mother-in-law was sick in bed with a fever, and they promptly told Jesus about her.

33 ULB ఆ పట్టణమంతా ఆ ఇంటి దగ్గర గుమిగూడారు. BSB BSB: and the whole town gathered at the door.
34 ULB రకరకాల రోగాలతో ఉన్న వారిని యేసు బాగు చేశాడు. ఎన్నో దయ్యాలను వెళ్ళగొట్టాడు. తాను ఎవరో ఆ దయ్యాలకు తెలుసు గనుక ఆయన వాటిని మాట్లాడనివ్వలేదు. BSB BSB: And He healed many who were ill with various diseases and drove out many demons. But He would not allow the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.
35 ULB ఇంకా తెల్లవారక ముందే యేసు లేచి ఆ పట్టణం బయట ఏకాంత ప్రదేశానికి వెళ్ళి అక్కడ ప్రార్థనలో గడిపాడు. BSB BSB: Early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up and went out to a solitary place to pray.
36 ULB సీమోను, అతనితో ఉన్నవారు యేసును వెదకడానికి వెళ్ళారు. BSB BSB: Simon and his companions went to look for Him,
37 ULB ఆయన కనబడినప్పుడు, “అందరూ నీ కోసం వెదుకుతున్నారు” అని ఆయనతో అన్నారు. BSB BSB: and when they found Him, they said, “Everyone is looking for You!”
38 ULB ఆయన వారితో, “చుట్టుపక్కల గ్రామాలకు వెళ్దాం పదండి. అక్కడ కూడా నేను ప్రకటించాలి. నేను ఈ లోకానికి వచ్చింది అందుకే” అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: But Jesus answered, “Let us go on to the neighboring towns so I can preach there as well, for that is why I have come.”
39 ULB ఆయన గలిలయ ప్రాంతమంతటా తిరుగుతూ, యూదుల సమాజ మందిరాల్లో బోధిస్తూ, దయ్యాలను వెళ్ళగొడుతూ ఉన్నాడు. BSB BSB: So He went throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
41 ULB యేసు అతనిపై జాలిపడి, తన చెయ్యి చాపి అతన్ని తాకి “నిన్ను బాగు చేయడం నాకిష్టమే, స్వస్థత పొందు” అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!”
42 ULB వెంటనే కుష్టురోగం అతన్ని వదలిపోయింది. అతడు శుద్ధి అయ్యాడు. BSB BSB: And immediately the leprosy left him, and the man was cleansed.

44 ULB “నువ్వు శుద్ధుడివైనట్టు యాజకునికి కనిపించి మోషే ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ప్రకారం అర్పణలు అర్పించు” అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering Moses prescribed for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”
45 ULB కానీ అతడు వెళ్ళి అందరికీ ఈ విషయం చాటించసాగాడు. ఆ కారణంగా యేసు ఆ పట్టణాల్లో బహిరంగంగా వెళ్ళలేక బయట నిర్జన ప్రదేశాల్లో ఉండిపోవలసి వచ్చింది. అందువలన వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుండి ప్రజలే ఆయన దగ్గరికి వస్తూ ఉన్నారు. BSB BSB: But the man went out and openly began to proclaim and spread the news. Consequently, Jesus could no longer enter a town in plain view, but He stayed out in solitary places. Yet people came to Him from every quarter.
