1 ULB కాబట్టి ఇతరులకు తీర్పు తీర్చే నీవు ఎవరివైనా సరే, నిన్ను నీవు సమర్ధించుకోలేవు. దేని విషయంలో ఎదుటి వాడికి తీర్పు తీరుస్తున్నావో దాని విషయంలో నీవే దోషివని తీర్పు తీర్చుకుంటున్నావు. ఎందుకంటే నీవు ఏ పనుల విషయంలో తీర్పు తీరుస్తున్నావో వాటినే నీవు కూడాా చేస్తున్నావు కదా? BSB BSB: You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on another. For on whatever grounds you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
2 ULB ఆ పనులు చేసే వారి మీద దేవుని తీర్పు న్యాయమైనదే అని మనకు తెలుసు. BSB BSB: And we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
3 ULB ఆ పనులు చేసే వారికి తీర్పు తీరుస్తూ వాటినే చేస్తున్న ఓ మనిషీ, దేవుని తీర్పు నీవెలా తప్పించుకుంటావు? BSB BSB: So when you, O man, pass judgment on others, yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?
4 ULB దేవుని కటాక్షం నిన్ను పశ్చాత్తాప పడేందుకు ప్రేరేపిస్తున్నదని తెలియక ఆయన మంచితనం అనే ఐశ్వర్యాన్నీ సహనాన్నీ దీర్ఘశాంతాన్నీ తోసిపుచ్చుతావా? BSB BSB: Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?
5 ULB నీ మొండితనాన్ని, మారని నీ హృదయాన్ని బట్టి దేవుని న్యాయమైన తీర్పు జరిగే ఆ ఉగ్రత రోజు కోసం, దేవుని కోపాన్ని పోగు చేసుకుంటున్నావు. BSB BSB: But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
7 ULB మంచి పనులను ఓపికగా చేస్తూ, మహిమ, ఘనత, అక్షయతలను వెదికే వారికి నిత్యజీవమిస్తాడు. BSB BSB: To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life.
8 ULB అయితే స్వార్ధపరులు, సత్యాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టి దుర్నీతిని జరిగించే వారి మీదికి దేవుని ఉగ్రత, మహా కోపం వస్తాయి. BSB BSB: But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.
9 ULB చెడ్డ పని చేసే ప్రతి మనిషి ఆత్మకు, ముందు యూదునికి, తరువాత యూదేతరునికి బాధ, వేదన కలుగుతాయి. BSB BSB: There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil, first for the Jew, then for the Greek;
10 ULB అయితే మంచి పని చేసే ప్రతి వ్యక్తికి, ముందు యూదునికి, తరువాత యూదేతరునికి మహిమ, ఘనత, శాంతిసమాధానాలు కలుగుతాయి. BSB BSB: but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, first for the Jew, then for the Greek.
11 ULB ఎందుకంటే దేవునికి పక్షపాతం లేదు. BSB BSB: For God does not show favoritism.
12 ULB ధర్మశాస్త్రం ఉండి పాపం చేసినవారు ధర్మశాస్త్ర ప్రకారం తీర్పు పొందుతారు. ధర్మశాస్త్రం లేకుండా పాపం చేసిన వారు కూడాా ధర్మశాస్త్రం లేకపోయినా నాశనం అవుతారు. BSB BSB: All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
13 ULB ధర్మశాస్త్రం వినే వారిని కాదు, దాన్ని అనుసరించి ప్రవర్తించే వారినే దేవుడు నీతిమంతులుగా ఎంచుతాడు. BSB BSB: For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the law who will be declared righteous.
15 ULB అలాటి వారి మనస్సాక్షి కూడాా సాక్షమిస్తుంది. వారి ఆలోచనలు వారిపై తప్పు మోపడమో లేక తప్పులేదని చెప్పడమో చేస్తాయి. అలాటివారి హృదయాలపై ధర్మశాస్త్ర సారం రాసినట్టే ఉంటుంది. BSB BSB: So they show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts either accusing or defending them
16 ULB నా సువార్త ప్రకారం దేవుడు యేసు క్రీస్తు ద్వారా మానవుల రహస్యాలను విచారించే రోజున ఈ విధంగా జరుగుతుంది. BSB BSB: on the day when God will judge men’s secrets through Christ Jesus, as proclaimed by my gospel.
17 ULB నీవు యూదుడవని పేరు పెట్టుకుని ధర్మశాస్త్రం మీద ఆధారపడుతూ దేవుని విషయంలో అతిశయిస్తున్నావు కదా? BSB BSB: Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God;
18 ULB ఆయన చిత్తం తెలిసి, ధర్మశాస్త్రంలో ఉపదేశం పొంది ఏది మంచిదో తెలిసి దాన్ని మెచ్చుకొంటావు కదా? BSB BSB: if you know His will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law;
19 ULB జ్ఞాన సత్య స్వరూపమైన ధర్మశాస్త్రం కలిగిఉండి, “నేను గుడ్డివారికి దారి చూపేవాణ్ణి, చీకటిలో ఉండేవారికి వెలుగు చూపేవాణ్ణి, BSB BSB: if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those in darkness,
20 ULB బుద్ధిలేని వారిని సరిదిద్దే వాణ్ణి, చిన్న పిల్లలలకు అధ్యాపకుణ్ణి అని” అని నిశ్చింతగా ఉన్నావు కదా? BSB BSB: an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth—
21 ULB ఎదుటి మనిషికి ఉపదేశించే వాడివి, నీకు నీవు బోధించుకోవా? దొంగతనం చేయకూడదని చెప్పే నీవే దొంగతనం చేస్తావా? BSB BSB: you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?
22 ULB వ్యభిచారం చేయవద్దని చెప్పే నీవే వ్యభిచారం చేస్తావా? విగ్రహాలను అసహ్యించుకుంటూ నీవే గుడులను దోచుకుంటావా? BSB BSB: You who forbid adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
23 ULB ధర్మశాస్త్రంలో గొప్పలు చెప్పుకునే నీవు ధర్మశాస్త్రం మీరి, దేవునికి అవమానం తెస్తావా? BSB BSB: You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
24 ULB “మిమ్మల్ని బట్టే గదా దేవుని పేరు యూదేతరుల మధ్య దూషణ పాలవుతున్నది?” అని రాసి ఉంది కదా. BSB BSB: As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”
25 ULB నీవు ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని అనుసరించేవాడివైతే నీకు సున్నతి ప్రయోజనం వర్తిస్తుంది గాని ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని అతిక్రమించేవాడివైతే, నీ సున్నతి సున్నతి కానట్టే. BSB BSB: Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
26 ULB కాబట్టి సున్నతి లేనివాడు ధర్మశాస్త్ర నియమాలను పాటిస్తే సున్నతి లేకపోయినా సున్నతి పొందినవాడుగా ఎంచబడతాడు గదా? BSB BSB: If a man who is not circumcised keeps the requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision?
27 ULB సున్నతి పొందకపోయినా ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని అనుసరించి జీవించేవాడు, లేఖనాలూ, సున్నతి కలిగి ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని అతిక్రమించే నీకు తీర్పు తీరుస్తాడు కదా? BSB BSB: The one who is physically uncircumcised yet keeps the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
28 ULB పైకి యూదుడుగా కనిపించేవాడు యూదుడు కాదు, శరీరంలో పైకి కనిపించే సున్నతి సున్నతి కాదు. BSB BSB: A man is not a Jew because he is one outwardly, nor is circumcision only outward and physical.
29 ULB అంతరంగంలో యూదుడైన వాడే యూదుడు. సున్నతి హృదయానికి చెందింది. అది ఆత్మలో జరిగేదే గాని అక్షరార్ధమైనది కాదు. అలాటి వాణ్ణి మనుషులు కాదు, దేవుడే మెచ్చుకుంటాడు. BSB BSB: No, a man is a Jew because he is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise does not come from men, but from God.
