8พระเยซูตอบเขาว่า “ถอยไปอยู่ข้างหลังเรา ซาตาน! เพราะมีเขียนไว้ว่า ‘เจ้าจงนมัสการองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระเจ้าของเจ้า และรับใช้พระองค์แต่ผู้เดียว’”But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’”

13เมื่อมารทดลองพระองค์ครบทุกอย่างแล้ว ก็จากพระองค์ไปจนกว่าจะถึงโอกาสต่อไปWhen the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.

14พระเยซูกลับไปยังแคว้นกาลิลีด้วยพลังของพระวิญญาณ และข่าวเรื่องพระองค์ก็แพร่ไปทั่วบริเวณโดยรอบJesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and the news about Him spread throughout the surrounding region.

15พระองค์สอนในธรรมศาลา และทุกคนต่างยกย่องพระองค์He taught in their synagogues and was glorified by everyone.

35พระเยซูตำหนิมันว่า “เงียบ! ออกมาจากเขา!” เมื่อปีศาจเหวี่ยงชายคนนั้นลงกลางฝูงชน มันก็ออกมาจากเขา โดยไม่ทำอันตรายเขาBut Jesus rebuked the demon. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!” At this, the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without harming him.

44แล้วพระองค์ก็ประกาศอยู่ตามธรรมศาลาในแคว้นกาลิลีAnd He continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea.
