Mark 15 (THAFB)

They bound Jesus, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate.

2ปีลาตถามพระองค์ว่า “ท่านคือกษัตริย์ของชาวยิวหรือ?” พระองค์ตอบว่า “ท่านพูดเอง”So Pilate questioned Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied.

3หัวหน้าปุโรหิตกล่าวหาพระองค์หลายเรื่องAnd the chief priests began to accuse Him of many things.

4ปีลาตถามพระองค์อีกว่า “ท่านไม่ตอบอะไรเลยหรือ? ดูสิ พวกเขาเป็นพยานกล่าวหาท่านตั้งหลายเรื่อง!”Then Pilate questioned Him again, “Have You no answer? Look how many charges they are bringing against You!”

5แต่พระเยซูไม่ตอบอะไรอีก ทำให้ปีลาตประหลาดใจBut to Pilate’s amazement, Jesus made no further reply.

6ในช่วงเทศกาล ปีลาตเคยปล่อยนักโทษคนหนึ่งให้ประชาชน ตามที่พวกเขาขอNow it was Pilate’s custom at the feast to release to the people a prisoner of their choosing.

11แต่หัวหน้าปุโรหิตยุยงฝูงชน ให้ขอปีลาตปล่อยบารับบัสแทนBut the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release Barabbas to them instead.

12ปีลาตถามพวกเขาอีกว่า “ถ้าอย่างนั้น เราควรทำอย่างไรกับคนที่พวกคุณเรียกว่ากษัตริย์ของชาวยิว?”So Pilate asked them again, “What then do you want me to do with the One you call the King of the Jews?”

14ปีลาตถามว่า “ทำไม? เขาทำความชั่วอะไร?” แต่พวกเขายิ่งร้องดังขึ้นว่า “ตรึงเขาบนกางเขน!”“Why?” asked Pilate. “What evil has He done?” But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify Him!”

19พวกเขาเอาไม้อ้อตีศีรษะพระองค์ ถ่มน้ำลายใส่ และคุกเข่าคำนับพระองค์They kept striking His head with a staff and spitting on Him. And they knelt down and bowed before Him.

20เมื่อเยาะเย้ยพระองค์เสร็จแล้ว พวกเขาถอดเสื้อคลุมสีม่วงออก และเอาเสื้อผ้าของพระองค์เองสวมให้ แล้วนำพระองค์ออกไปเพื่อตรึงบนกางเขนAfter they had mocked Him, they removed the purple robe and put His own clothes back on Him. Then they led Him out to crucify Him.

24เมื่อตรึงพระองค์บนกางเขนแล้ว พวกเขาแบ่งเสื้อผ้าของพระองค์กัน โดยจับสลากว่าใครจะได้ส่วนไหนAnd they crucified Him. They also divided His garments by casting lots to decide what each of them would take.

31หัวหน้าปุโรหิตกับพวกอาลักษณ์ก็เยาะเย้ยพระองค์กันเองเช่นกัน โดยพูดว่า “เขาช่วยคนอื่นได้ แต่ช่วยตัวเองไม่ได้In the same way, the chief priests and scribes mocked Him among themselves, saying, “He saved others, but He cannot save Himself!

He put it on a reed and held it up for Jesus to drink, saying, “Leave Him alone. Let us see if Elijah comes to take Him down.”

37พระเยซูร้องเสียงดัง แล้วสิ้นลมหายใจBut Jesus let out a loud cry and breathed His last.

38ม่านในพระวิหารฉีกออกเป็นสองส่วน ตั้งแต่บนลงล่างAnd the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.

39เมื่อนายร้อยที่ยืนอยู่ตรงข้ามพระองค์เห็นว่าพระองค์ร้องเช่นนี้และสิ้นลมหายใจ เขาก็กล่าวว่า “ชายคนนี้เป็นพระบุตรของพระเจ้าจริง ๆ!”When the centurion standing there in front of Jesus saw how He had breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”

44ปีลาตประหลาดใจที่ได้ยินว่าพระองค์ตายแล้ว จึงเรียกนายร้อยมา และถามว่าพระองค์ตายมานานแล้วหรือPilate was surprised to hear that Jesus was already dead, so he summoned the centurion to ask if this was so.

45เมื่อรู้จากนายร้อยแล้ว เขาก็มอบศพให้โยเซฟWhen Pilate had confirmed it with the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.

46โยเซฟซื้อผ้าลินิน แล้วเอาพระองค์ลงจากกางเขน พันด้วยผ้าลินิน และวางไว้ในอุโมงค์ฝังศพที่เจาะไว้ในศิลา จากนั้นกลิ้งก้อนหินมาปิดปากอุโมงค์ฝังศพSo Joseph bought a linen cloth, took down the body of Jesus, wrapped it in the cloth, and placed it in a tomb that had been cut out of the rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance to the tomb.
