TNT But in many of them had god no delite. For they were overthrowen in the wildernes. BSB BSB: Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them, for they were struck down in the wilderness.
TNT These are ensamples to vs that we shuld not lust after evyll thinges as they lusted. BSB BSB: These things took place as examples to keep us from craving evil things as they did.
TNT Nether be ye worshippers of Images as were some of them accordynge as it is written: The people sate doune to eate and drynke and rose vp agayne to playe. BSB BSB: Do not be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”

TNT Wherfore my deare beloued fle from worshippynge of ydols. BSB BSB: Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.
TNT I speake as vnto them which have discrecion Iudge ye what I saye. BSB BSB: I speak to reasonable people; judge for yourselves what I say.
TNT Ys not the cuppe of blessinge which we blesse partakynge of the bloude of Christ? ys not the breed which we breake partetakynge of the body of Christ? BSB BSB: Is not the cup of blessing that we bless a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?

TNT Nay but I saye that those thinges which the gentyle offer they offer to devyls and not to god. And I wolde not that ye shuld have fellishippe with the devils. BSB BSB: No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God. And I do not want you to be participants with demons.
TNT Ye cannot drincke of the cup of the lorde and of that cup of the deuyls. Ye cannot be partetakers of the lordes table and of the table of deuelles. All to God’s Glory (1 Peter 4:1–11)
TNT All thynges are laufull vnto me but all thynges are not expedient. All thynges are lawfull to me but all thinges edifye not. BSB BSB: “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is edifying.
