The Seventh Seal 1 TNT And when he had opened the seventh seale there was silence in heven aboute the space of halfe an houre. BSB BSB: When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2 TNT And I sawe angelles stondynge before god and to them were geven vii. trompettes. BSB BSB: And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and they were given seven trumpets.
3 TNT And another angell cam and stode before the aultre havynge a golden senser and moche of odoures was geven vnto him that he shulde offre of the prayers of all saynctes apon the golden aultre which was before the seate. BSB BSB: Then another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne.
4 TNT And the smoke of the odoures which came of the prayers of all saynctes ascended vppe before god out of the angelles honde. BSB BSB: And the smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, rose up before God from the hand of the angel.
5 TNT And the angell toke the senser and fylled it with fyre of the aultre and caste it into the erth and voyces were made and thondrynges and lightnynges and erthquake. BSB BSB: Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
The First Four Trumpets 6 TNT And the .vii. angells which had the .vii. tropettes prepared them selves to blowe. BSB BSB: And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
7 TNT The fyrst angell blewe and there was made hayle and fyre which were myngled with bloud and they were caste into the erth: and the thryd parte of trees was burnt and all grene grasse was brent. BSB BSB: Then the first angel sounded his trumpet, and hail and fire mixed with blood were hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, along with a third of the trees and all the green grass.
8 TNT And the seconde angell blewe: and as it were a gret mountayne: burnynge with fyre was caste in to the see BSB BSB: Then the second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned to blood,
9 TNT and the thyrde parte of the see tourned to bloud and the thyrde parte of the creatures which had lyfe dyed and the thyrde part of shippes were destroyed. BSB BSB: a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 TNT And the thyrde angell blewe and ther fell a grett starre from heven burnynge as it were a lampe and it fell into the thyrde parte of the ryvers and into fountaynes of waters BSB BSB: Then the third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star burning like a torch fell from heaven and landed on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
11 TNT and the name of the starre is called wormwod. And the thyrde part was turned to wormwod. And many me dyed of the waters because they were made bytter. BSB BSB: The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter like wormwood oil, and many people died from the bitter waters.
12 TNT And the fourth angell blew and the thyrde parte of the sunne was smytten and the thyrde parte of the mone and the thyrde part of starres: so that the thyrde parte of them was darckned. And the daye was smytten that the thyrde part of it shulde not shyne and lyke wyse the nyght. BSB BSB: Then the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun and moon and stars were struck. A third of the stars were darkened, a third of the day was without light, and a third of the night as well.
13 TNT And I behelde and herd an angell flyinge thorowe the myddes of heven sayinge with a lowde voyce: Woo wo to the inhabiters of the erth because of the voyces to come of the trompe of the .iii. angells which were yet to blowe. BSB BSB: And as I observed, I heard an eagle flying overhead, calling in a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the remaining three angels!”
