1. 1UKRВислухайте слова, що Господь вирік проти вас, ви, сини Ізрайлеві, проти всього роду, що я вивів із Египту, й каже:BSBBSB: Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt:
2. 2UKRВас одних зміж усїх народів на землї признав я за своїх, тим то й пошукувати буду на вас всї провини ваші.BSBBSB: “Only you have I known from all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”
3. 3UKRХиба пійдуть двоє укупі, як не згодились на се?BSBBSB: Can two walk together without agreeing where to go?
4. 4UKRЧи рикати ме лев у гаю, не почувши ловитви? Чи з свого лїгва левчук озоветься, покіль не піймає?BSBBSB: Does a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey? Does a young lion growl in his den if he has caught nothing?
5. 5UKRЧи попадеться пташка в сїло на землї, як не наставлено сїла на неї? Чи підіймуть із землї сїло, як нїщо не піймалось?BSBBSB: Does a bird land in a snare where no bait has been set? Does a trap spring from the ground when it has nothing to catch?
6. 6UKRЧи затрубить труба в містї, й люде не злякаються? Чи ж складеться в містї лихо без Божої волї?BSBBSB: If a ram’s horn sounds in a city, do the people not tremble? If calamity comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?
7. 7UKRТим же то, що нї чинить Господь, відкриває він свою тайну слугам своїм, пророкам.BSBBSB: Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.
8. 8UKRЛев став рикати, й хто не злякається? Господь Бог заговорив, як же пророкам не пророкувати?BSBBSB: The lion has roared—who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken—who will not prophesy?
9. 9UKRПокликнїте ж голосно з домів ув Азотї й з домів у землї Египецькій і скажіть: Зійдїтесь на гори Самарийські, та й побачте безглуздє й притїснених посеред неї.BSBBSB: Proclaim to the citadels of Ashdod and to the citadels of Egypt: “Assemble on the mountains of Samaria; see the great unrest in the city and the acts of oppression in her midst.”
10. 10UKRТам не знають справедливостї, говорить Господь: насилуваннєм і рабунком громадять скарби в свої палати.BSBBSB: “For they know not how to do right,” declares the LORD. “They store up violence and destruction in their citadels.”
11. 11UKRТим то так говорить Господь Бог: От, ворог навкруг всієї землї! він повалить всю потугу твою, ограбить палати твої.BSBBSB: Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “An enemy will surround the land; he will pull down your strongholds and plunder your citadels.”
12. 12UKRТак говорить Господь: Як пастух із пельки в лева вирве часом ноги або кусень уха, — от стільки хиба врятується з синів Ізрайлевих, що в Самариї спочивають собі в кутку постелї та в Дамасцї на ліжку.BSBBSB: This is what the LORD says: “As the shepherd snatches from the mouth of the lion two legs or a piece of an ear, so the Israelites dwelling in Samaria will be rescued having just the corner of a bed or the cushion of a couch.
13. 13UKRСлухайте ж і засьвідчіть се домові Яковому, говорить Господь Бог, Бог Саваот.BSBBSB: Hear and testify against the house of Jacob, declares the Lord GOD, the God of Hosts.
14. 14UKRБо того дня, коли буду доходити в Ізраїлї проступків його, скараю його й за жертівники в Бетелї, й будуть повідбивані роги олтарів та й попадають на землю.BSBBSB: On the day I punish Israel for their transgressions, I will visit destruction on the altars of Bethel; the horns of the altar will be cut off, and they will fall to the ground.
15. 15UKRІ збурю всяку палату зимову разом із палатою лїтною, й зникнуть ті доми, прикрашені слоновою кістю, та й не буде вже тих многих домів, говорить Господь.BSBBSB: I will tear down the winter house along with the summer house; the houses of ivory will also perish, and the great houses will come to an end,” declares the LORD.
