1. 1ULBऔर उसने तुम्हें भी ज़िन्दा किया जब अपने कुसूरों और गुनाहों की वजह से मुर्दा थे।BSBBSB: And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
2. 2ULBजिनमें तुम पहले दुनियाँ की रविश पर चलते थे, और हवा की 'अमलदारी के हाकिम या'नी उस रूह की पैरवी करते थे जो अब नाफ़रमानी के फ़रज़न्दों में तासीर करती है।BSBBSB: in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience.
3. 3ULBइनमें हम भी सबके सब पहले अपने जिस्म की ख्वाहिशों में ज़िन्दगी गुज़ारते और जिस्म और 'अक़्ल के इरादे पुरे करते थे, और दूसरों की तरह फ़ितरतन ग़ज़ब के फ़र्ज़न्द थे।BSBBSB: All of us also lived among them at one time, fulfilling the cravings of our flesh and indulging its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath.
4. 4ULBमगर ख़ुदा ने अपने रहम की दौलत से, उस बड़ी मुहब्बत की वजह से जो उसने हम से की,BSBBSB: But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
5. 5ULBकि अगर्चे हम अपने गुनाहों में मुर्दा थे तो भी उसने हमें मसीह के साथ ज़िन्दा कर दिया आपको ख़ुदा के फ़ज़ल ही से नजात मिली हैBSBBSB: made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!
6. 6ULBऔर मसीह ईसा' में शामिल करके उसके साथ जिलाया, और आसमानी मुक़ामों पर उसके साथ बिठाया।BSBBSB: And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7. 7ULBताकि वो अपनी उस महरबानी से जो मसीह ईसा' में हम पर है, आनेवाले ज़मानों में अपने फ़ज़ल की अज़ीम दौलत दिखाए।BSBBSB: in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
8. 8ULBक्यूँकि तुम को ईमान के वसीले फ़ज़ल ही से नजात मिली है; और ये तुम्हारी तरफ़ से नही, ख़ुदा की बाख़्शिश है,BSBBSB: For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9. 9ULBऔर न आ'माल की वजह से है, ताकि कोई फ़ख़्र न करे।BSBBSB: not by works, so that no one can boast.
10. 10ULBक्यूँकि हम उसकी कारीगरी हैं, और ईसा मसीह में उन नेक आ'माल के वास्ते पैदा हुए जिनको ख़ुदा ने पहले से हमारे करने के लिए तैयार किया था।BSBBSB: For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.
11. 11ULBपस याद करो कि तुम जो जिस्मानी तौर से ग़ैर-क़ौम वाले हो (और वो लोग जो जिस्म में हाथ से किए हुए ख़तने की वजह से कहलाते हैं, तुम को नामख़्तून कहते है)।BSBBSB: Therefore remember that formerly you who are Gentiles in the flesh and called uncircumcised by the so-called circumcision (that done in the body by human hands)—
12. 12ULBअगले ज़माने में मसीह से जुदा, और इस्राईल की सल्तनत से अलग, और वा'दे के 'अहदों से नावाक़िफ़, और नाउम्मीद और दुनियाँ में ख़ुदा से जुदा थे।BSBBSB: remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.
13. 13ULBमगर तुम जो पहले दूर थे, अब ईसा' मसीह' में मसीह के ख़ून की वजह से नज़दीक हो गए हो।BSBBSB: But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
14. 14ULBक्यूँकि वही हमारी सुलह है, जिसने दोनों को एक कर लिया और जुदाई की दीवार को जो बीच में थी ढा दिया,BSBBSB: For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has torn down the dividing wall of hostility
15. 15ULBचुनाँचे उसने अपने जिस्म के ज़री'ए से दुश्मनी, या'नी वो शरी'अत जिसके हुक्म ज़ाबितों के तौर पर थे, मौक़ूफ़ कर दी ताकि दोनों से अपने आप में एक नया इन्सान पैदा करके सुलह करा दे;BSBBSB: by abolishing in His flesh the law of commandments and decrees. He did this to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace
16. 16ULBऔर सलीब पर दुश्मनी को मिटा कर और उसकी वजह से दोनों को एक तन बना कर ख़ुदा से मिलाए।BSBBSB: and reconciling both of them to God in one body through the cross, by which He put to death their hostility.
17. 17ULBऔर उसने आ कर तुम यहूदी जो ख़ुदा के नज़दीक थे, और ग़ैर यहूदी जो ख़ुदा से दूर थे दोनों को सुलह की ख़ुशख़बरी दी।BSBBSB: He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
18. 18ULBक्यूंकि उसी के वसीले से हम दोनों की, एक ही रूह में बाप के पास रसाई होती है।BSBBSB: For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
19. 19ULBपस अब तुम परदेसी और मुसाफ़िर नहीं रहे, बल्कि मुक़द्दसों के हमवतन और ख़ुदा के घराने के हो गए।BSBBSB: Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household,
20. 20ULBऔर रसूलों और नबियों की नींव पर, जिसके कोने के सिरे का पत्थर ख़ुद ईसा' मसीह है, तामीर किए गए हो।BSBBSB: built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.
21. 21ULBउसी में हर एक 'इमारत मिल-मिलाकर ख़ुदावन्द में एक पाक मक़्दिस बनता जाता है।BSBBSB: In Him the whole building is fitted together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
22. 22ULBऔर तुम भी उसमें बाहम ता'मीर किए जाते हो, ताकि रूह में ख़ुदा का मस्कन बनो।BSBBSB: And in Him you too are being built together into a dwelling place for God in His Spirit.
