2 ULB या'नी कमाल दरयादिली और नर्मदिल के साथ सब्र करके मुहब्बत से एक दुसरे की बर्दाश्त करो;। BSB BSB: with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
5 ULB एक ही ख़ुदावन्द, है एक ही ईमान है, एक ही बपतिस्मा, BSB BSB: one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 ULB और सब का ख़ुदा और बाप एक ही है, जो सब के ऊपर और सब के दर्मियान और सब के अन्दर है। BSB BSB: one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
7 ULB और हम में से हर एक पर मसीह की बाख़्शिश के अंदाज़े के मुवाफ़िक़ फ़ज़ल हुआ है। BSB BSB: Now to each one of us grace has been given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 ULB इसी वास्ते वो फ़रमाता है, “जब वो 'आलम-ए-बाला पर चढ़ा तो क़ैदियों को साथ ले गया, और आदमियों को इन'आम दिए।” BSB BSB: This is why it says: “When He ascended on high, He led captives away, and gave gifts to men.”
9 ULB (उसके चढ़ने से और क्या पाया जाता है? सिवा इसके कि वो ज़मीन के नीचे के 'इलाक़े में उतरा भी था। BSB BSB: What does “He ascended” mean, except that He also descended to the lower parts of the earth?
10 ULB और ये उतरने वाला वही है जो सब आसमानों से भी ऊपर चढ़ गया, ताकि सब चीज़ों को मा'मूर करे।) BSB BSB: He who descended is the very One who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.
11 ULB और उसी ने कुछ को रसूल, और कुछ को नबी, और कुछ को मुबश्शिर, और कुछ को चरवाहा और उस्ताद बनाकर दे दिया। BSB BSB: And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
12 ULB ताकि मुक़द्दस लोग कामिल बनें और ख़िदमत गुज़ारी का काम किया जाए,। BSB BSB: to equip the saints for works of ministry and to build up the body of Christ,
13 ULB जब तक हम सब के सब ख़ुदा के बेटे के ईमान और उसकी पहचान में एक न हो जाएँ और पूरा इन्सान न बनें, या'नी मसीह के पुरे क़द के अन्दाज़े तक न पहुँच जाएँ। BSB BSB: until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ.
14 ULB ताकि हम आगे को बच्चे न रहें और आदमियों की बाज़ीगरी और मक्कारी की वजह से उनके गुमराह करनेवाले इरादों की तरफ़ हर एक ता'लीम के झोंके से मौजों की तरह उछलते बहते न फिरें BSB BSB: Then we will no longer be infants, tossed about by the waves and carried around by every wind of teaching and by the clever cunning of men in their deceitful scheming.
15 ULB बल्कि मुहब्बत के साथ सच्चाई पर क़ायम रहकर और उसके साथ जो सिर है, या;नी मसीह के साथ,पैवस्ता हो कर हर तरह से बढ़ते जाएँ। BSB BSB: Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ Himself, who is the head.
16 ULB जिससे सारा बदन, हर एक जोड़ की मदद से पैवस्ता होकर और गठ कर, उस तासीर के मुवाफ़िक़ जो बक़द्र-ए-हर हिस्सा होती है, अपने आप को बढ़ाता है ताकि मुहब्बत में अपनी तरक्की करता जाए। BSB BSB: From Him the whole body, fitted and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love through the work of each individual part.
17 ULB इस लिए मैं ये कहता हूँ और ख़ुदावन्द में जताए देता हूँ कि जिस तरह ग़ैर-क़ौमें अपने बेहूदा ख़यालात के मुवाफ़िक़ चलती हैं,तुम आइन्दा को उस तरह न चलना| BSB BSB: So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.
18 ULB क्यूँकि उनकी 'अक़्ल तारीक हो गई है, और वो उस नादानी की वजह से जो उनमें है और अपने दिलों की सख़्ती के ज़रिए ख़ुदा की ज़िन्दगी से अलग हैं। BSB BSB: They are darkened in their understanding and alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts.
19 ULB उन्होंने ख़ामोशी के साथ शहवत परस्ती को इख़्तियार किया, ताकि हर तरह के गन्दे काम की हिर्स करें। BSB BSB: Having lost all sense of shame, they have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity, with a craving for more.
20 ULB मगर तुम ने मसीह की ऐसी ता'लीम नहीं पाई। BSB BSB: But this is not the way you came to know Christ.
21 ULB बल्कि तुम ने उस सच्चाई के मुताबिक़ जो ईसा' में है, उसी की सुनी और उसमें ये ता'लीम पाई होगी। BSB BSB: Surely you heard of Him and were taught in Him—in keeping with the truth that is in Jesus—
22 ULB कि तुम अपने अगले चाल-चलन की पुरानी इन्सानियत को उतार डालो, जो धोके की शहवतों की वजह से ख़राब होती जाती है BSB BSB: to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23 ULB और अपनी 'अक़्ल की रूहानी हालात में नये बनते जाओ, BSB BSB: to be renewed in the spirit of your minds;
24 ULB और नई इन्सानियत को पहनो जो ख़ुदा के मुताबिक़ सच्चाई की रास्तबाज़ी और पाकीज़गी में पैदा की गई है। BSB BSB: and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25 ULB पस झूट.बोलना छोड़ कर हर एक शख़्स अपने पड़ोसी से सच बोले, क्यूंकि हम आपस में एक दूसरे के 'बदन हैं। BSB BSB: Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one another.
26 ULB ग़ुस्सा तो करो, मगर गुनाह न करो| सूरज के डूबने तक तुम्हारी नाराज़गी न रहे, BSB BSB: “Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger,
27 ULB और इब्लीस को मौक़ा न दो। BSB BSB: and do not give the devil a foothold.
28 ULB चोरी करने वाला फिर चोरी न करे, बल्कि अच्छा हुनर इख़्तियार करके हाथों से मेहनत करे ताकि मुहताज को देने के लिए उसके पास कुछ हो। BSB BSB: He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing good with his own hands, that he may have something to share with the one in need.
29 ULB कोई गन्दी बात तुम्हारे मुंह से न निकले, बल्कि वही जो ज़रूरत के मुवाफ़िक़ तरक़्क़ी के लिए अच्छी हो, ताकि उससे सुनने वालों पर फ़ज़ल हो। BSB BSB: Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen.
30 ULB और ख़ुदा के पाक रूह को ग़मगीन न करो, जिससे तुम पर रिहाई के दिन के लिए मुहर हुई। BSB BSB: And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 ULB हर तरह की गर्म मिज़ाजी, और क़हर,और ग़ुस्सा, और शोर-ओ-ग़ुल, और बुराई, हर क़िस्म की बद ख़्वाही समेत तुम से दूर की जाएँ। BSB BSB: Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice.
32 ULB और एक दूसरे पर मेंहरबान और नर्मदिल हो, और जिस तरह ख़ुदा ने मसीह में तुम्हारे क़ुसूर मु'आफ़ किए हैं, तुम भी एक दूसरे के क़ुसूर मु'आफ़ करो। BSB BSB: Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
