ULB और मैं ये कहता हूँ कि वारिस जब तक बच्चा है,अगरचे वो सब का मालिक है, उसमें और ग़ुलाम में कुछ फ़र्क़ नहीं| BSB BSB: What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he is the owner of everything.
ULB बल्कि जो मि'आद बाप ने मुक़र्रर की उस वक़्त तक सरपरस्तों और मुख़्तारों के इख़्तियार में रहता है| BSB BSB: He is subject to guardians and trustees until the date set by his father.
ULB इसी तरह हम भी जब बच्चे थे,तो दुनियावी इब्तिदाई बातों के पाबन्द होकर ग़ुलामी की हालत में रहे| BSB BSB: So also, when we were children, we were enslaved under the basic principles of the world.
ULB ताकि शरी'अत के मातहतों को मोल लेकर छुड़ा ले और हम को लेपालक होने का दर्जा मिले| BSB BSB: to redeem those under the law, that we might receive our adoption as sons.
ULB और चूँकि तुम बेटे हो, इसलिए ख़ुदा ने अपने बेटे का रूह हमारे दिलों में भेजा जो 'अब्बा 'या'नी ऐ बाप, कह कर पुकारता है| BSB BSB: And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
ULB पस अब तू ग़ुलाम नहीं बल्कि बेटा है,और जब बेटा हुआ तों ख़ुदा के वसीले से वारिस भी हुआ| BSB BSB: So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, you are also an heir through God.
BSB BSB: Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods.
BSB BSB: But now that you know God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you are turning back to those weak and worthless principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?
ULB तुम दिनों और महीनों और मुक़र्रर वक़्तों और बरसों को मानते हो| BSB BSB: You are observing special days and months and seasons and years!
BSB BSB: I fear for you, that my efforts for you may have been in vain.
ULB ऐ भाइयों! मैं तुमसे गुज़ारिश करता हूँ कि मेरी तरह हो जाओ,क्यूंकि मैं भी तुम्हारी तरह हूँ;तुम ने मेरा कुछ बिगाड़ा नहीं| BSB BSB: I beg you, brothers, become like me, for I became like you. You have done me no wrong.
ULB बल्कि तुम जानते हो कि मैंने पहली बार 'जिस्म की कमज़ोरी की वजह से तुम को ख़ुशख़बरी सुनाई थी| BSB BSB: You know that it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you.
ULB और तुम ने मेरी उस जिस्मानी हालत को, जो तुम्हारी आज़माईश का ज़रि'या थी, ना हक़ीर जाना,न उससे नफ़रत की; और ख़ुदा के फ़रिश्ते बल्कि मसीह ईसा' की तरह मुझे मान लिया| BSB BSB: And although my illness was a trial to you, you did not despise or reject me. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus Himself.
मैं तुम्हारा गवाह हूँ कि हो सकता तो तुम अपनी आंखे भी निकाल कर मुझे दे देते| BSB BSB: What then has become of your blessing? For I can testify that, if it were possible, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me.
BSB BSB: Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?
ULB वो तुम्हें दोस्त बनाने की कोशिश तो करते हैं,मगर नेक नियत से नहीं;बल्कि वो तुम्हें अलग करना चाहते हैं,ताकि तुम उन्हीं को दोस्त बनाने की कोशिश करो| BSB BSB: Those people are zealous for you, but not in a good way. Instead, they want to isolate you from us, so that you may be zealous for them.
ULB लेकिन ये अच्छी बात है कि नेक अम्र में दोस्त बनाने की हर वक़्त कोशिश की जाए,न सिर्फ़ जब मैं तुम्हारे पास मोजूद हूँ| BSB BSB: Nevertheless, it is good to be zealous if it serves a noble purpose—at any time, and not only when I am with you.
ULB ऐ मेरे बच्चों!तुम्हारी तरफ़ से मुझे फिर जनने के से दर्द लगे हैं,जब तक कि मसीह तुम में सूरत न पकड़ ले| BSB BSB: My children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you,
ULB जी चाहता है कि अब तुम्हारे पास मौजूद होकर और तरह से बोलूँ क्यूंकि मुझे तुम्हारी तरफ़ से शुबह है| BSB BSB: how I wish I could be with you now and change my tone, because I am perplexed about you.
BSB BSB: Tell me, you who want to be under the law, do you not understand what the law says?
ULB ये कलाम में लिखा है कि अब्रहाम के दो बेटे थे;एक लौंडी से और एक आज़ाद से| BSB BSB: For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman.
ULB मगर लौंडी का जिस्मानी तौर पर, और आज़ाद का बेटा वा'दे के वजह से पैदा हुआ| BSB BSB: His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born through the promise.
ULB इन बातों में मिसाल पाई जाती है:इसलिए ये 'औरतें गोया दो;अहद हैं|एक कोह-ए-सीना पर का जिस से ग़ुलाम ही पैदा होते हैं, वो हाजरा है| BSB BSB: These things serve as illustrations, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children into slavery: This is Hagar.
ULB और हाजरा 'अरब का कोह-ए-सीना है,और मौजूदा यरूशलीम उसका जवाब है,क्यूंकि वो अपने लड़कों समेत ग़ुलामी में है| BSB BSB: Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present-day Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.
ULB मगर 'आलम-ए-बाला का यरुशलीम आज़ाद है, और वही हमारी माँ है| BSB BSB: But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.
ULB क्यूँकि लिखा है, ''कि ऐ बाँझ, जिसके औलाद नहीं होती ख़ुशी मना,तू जो दर्द-ए-ज़िह से नावाक़िफ़ है, आवाज़ ऊँची करके चिल्ला; क्यूँकि बेकस छोड़ी हुई की औलाद है शौहर वाली की औलाद से ज़्यादा होगी|'' BSB BSB: For it is written: “Rejoice, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have never travailed; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband.”
ULB पस ऐ भाइयों! हम इज़्हाक़ की तरह वा'दे के फ़र्ज़न्द हैं| BSB BSB: Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.
ULB और जैसे उस वक़्त जिस्मानी पैदाईश वाला रूहानी पैदाईश वाले को सताता था, वैसे ही अब भी होता है| BSB BSB: At that time, however, the son born by the flesh persecuted the son born by the Spirit. It is the same now.
ये कि "लौंडी और उसके बेटे को निकाल दे, क्यूँकि लौंडी का बेटा आज़ाद के साथ हरगिज़ वारिस न होगा|" BSB BSB: But what does the Scripture say? “Expel the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.”
ULB पस ऐ भाइयों!हम लौंडी के फ़र्ज़न्द नहीं, बल्कि आज़ाद के हैं| BSB BSB: Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.
