1 ULB पस जब उसके आराम में दाख़िल होने का वादा बाक़ी है तो हमें डरना चाहिए ऐसा न हो कि तुम में से कोई रहा हुआ मालूम हो BSB BSB: Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it.
2 ULB क्यूँकि हमें भी उन ही की तरह ख़ुशख़बरी सुनाई गई, लेकिन सुने हुए कलाम ने उनको इसलिए कुछ फ़ाइदा न दिया कि सुनने वालों के दिलों में ईमान के साथ न बैठा| BSB BSB: For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.
3 ULB और हम जो ईमान लाए, उस आराम में दाख़िल होते है; जिस तरह उसने कहा, "मैंने अपने ग़ुस्से में क़सम खाई कि ये मेरे आराम में दाख़िल न होने पाएँगे|" अगरचे दुनिया बनाने के वक़्त उसके काम हो चुके थे| BSB BSB: Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said: “So I swore on oath in My anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’” And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world.
4 ULB चुनाँचे उसने सातवें दिन के बारे में किसी मौक़े' पर इस तरह कहा, "ख़ुदा ने अपने सब कामों को पूरा करके, सातवें दिन आराम किया|" BSB BSB: For somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this manner: “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.”
5 ULB और फिर इस मुक़ाम पर है, "वो मेरे आराम में दाख़िल न होने पाएँगे|" BSB BSB: And again, as He says in the passage above: “They shall never enter My rest.”
6 ULB पस जब ये बात बाक़ी है कि कुछ उस आराम में दाख़िल हों, और जिनको पहले ख़ुशख़बरी सुनाई गई थी वो नाफ़रमानी की वजह से दाख़िल न हुए, BSB BSB: Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience,
7 ULB तो फिर एक ख़ास दिन ठहर कर इतनी मुद्दत के बा'द दा'ऊद की किताब में उसे "आज का दिन" कहता है |जैसा पहले कहा गया, "और आज तुम उसकी आवाज़ सुनो, तो अपने दिलों को सख़्त न करो|" BSB BSB: God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”
8 ULB और अगर ईसा' ने उन्हें आराम में दाख़िल किया होता, तो वो उसके बा'द दुसरे दिन का ज़िक्र न करता| BSB BSB: For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
9 ULB पस ख़ुदा की उम्मत के लिए सब्त का आराम बाक़ी है' BSB BSB: There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 ULB क्यूँकि जो उसके आराम में दाख़िल हुआ, उसने भी ख़ुदा की तरह अपने कामों को पूरा करके आराम किया| BSB BSB: For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His.
11 ULB पस आओ, हम उस आराम में दाख़िल होने की कोशिश करें, ताकि उनकी तरह नाफ़रमानी कर के कोई शख़्स गिर न पड़े| BSB BSB: Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.
12 ULB क्यूँकि ख़ुदा का कलाम ज़िन्दा, और असरदार, और हर एक दोधारी तलवार से ज़्यादा तेज़ है; और जान और रूह और बन्द, बन्द और गूदे को जुदा करके गुज़र जाता है, और दिल के ख़यालों और इरादों को जाँचता है| BSB BSB: For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
13 ULB और उससे मख़्लूक़ात की कोई चीज़ छिपी नहीं, बल्कि जिससे हम को काम है उसकी नज़रों में सब चीज़ें खुली और बेपर्दा हैं| BSB BSB: Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
14 ULB पस जब हमारा एक ऐसा बड़ा सरदार काहिन है जो आसमानों से गुज़र गया, या'नी ख़ुदा का बेटा ईसा', तो आओ हम अपने इक़रार पर क़ायम रहें| BSB BSB: Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess.
16 ULB पस आओ, हम फ़ज़ल के तख़्त के पास दिलेरी से चलें, ताकि हम पर रहम हो और फ़ज़ल हासिल करें जो ज़रूरत के वक़्त हमारी मदद करे| BSB BSB: Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
