1 ULB मिस्र के बारे में नबुव्वत देखो ख़ुदावन्द एक तेज़ रू ~बादल पर सवार होकर मिस्र में आता है, और मिस्र के बुत उसके सामने लरज़ाँ होंगे और मिस्र का दिल पिघल जाएगा। BSB BSB: This is the burden against Egypt: Behold, the LORD rides on a swift cloud; He is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble before Him, and the hearts of the Egyptians will melt within them.
2 ULB और मैं मिस्रियों को आपस में मुख़ालिफ़ कर दूँगा; उनमें हर एक अपने भाई से और हर एक अपने पड़ोसी से लड़ेगा, शहर-शहर से और सूबे-सूबे से; BSB BSB: “So I will incite Egyptian against Egyptian; brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
3 ULB और मिस्र की रूह अफ़सुर्दा हो जाएगी, और मैं उसके मन्सूबे को फ़ना करूँगा; और वह बुतों और अफ़सूँगरों और जिन्नात के यारों और जादूगरों की तलाश करेंगे। BSB BSB: Then the spirit of the Egyptians will be emptied out from among them, and I will frustrate their plans, so that they will resort to idols and spirits of the dead, to mediums and spiritists.
4 ULB लेकिन मैं मिस्रियों को एक सितमगर हाकिम के क़ाबू में कर दूँगा, और ज़बरदस्त बादशाह उन पर सल्तनत करेगा; यह ख़ुदावन्द रब्ब-उल-अफ़वाज का फ़रमान है। BSB BSB: I will deliver the Egyptians into the hands of a harsh master, and a fierce king will rule over them,” declares the Lord GOD of Hosts.
5 ULB और दरिया का पानी सूख जाएगा, और नदी ख़ुश्क और ख़ाली हो जाएगी| BSB BSB: The waters of the Nile will dry up, and the riverbed will be parched and empty.
6 ULB और नाले बदबू हो जाएँगे, और मिस्र की नहरें ख़ाली होंगी और सूख जाएँगी, और बेद और नै मुरझा जाएँगे। BSB BSB: The canals will stink; the streams of Egypt will trickle and dry up; the reeds and rushes will wither.
7 ULB दरिया-ए-नील के किनारे की चरागाहें और वह सब चीज़ें जो उसके आस-पास बोई जाती हैं मुरझा जायेंगी और बिल्कुल बर्बाद-ओ-हलाक हो जाएँगी। BSB BSB: The bulrushes by the Nile, by the mouth of the river, and all the fields sown along the Nile, will wither, blow away, and be no more.
8 ULB तब माहीगीर मातम करेंगे, और वह सब जो दरिया में शस्त डालते हैं ग़मगीन होंगे; और पानी में जाल डालने वाले बहुत बेताब हो जाएँगे। BSB BSB: Then the fishermen will mourn, all who cast a hook into the Nile will lament, and those who spread nets on the waters will pine away.
9 ULB और सन झाड़ने और कतान बुननेवाले घबरा जाएँगे। BSB BSB: The workers in flax will be dismayed, and the weavers of fine linen will turn pale.
10 ULB ~हाँ उसके अरकान शिकस्ता और तमाम मज़दूर रंजीदा ख़ातिर होंगे BSB BSB: The workers in cloth will be dejected, and all the hired workers will be sick at heart.
11 ULB सुन'आन के शहज़ादे बिल्कुल बेवक़ूफ़ हैं फ़िर'औन के ~सबसे 'अक़्लमन्द सलाहकारों की मश्वरत वहशियाना ठहरी।फिर तुम क्यूँकर फ़िर'औन से कहते हो, कि मैं 'अक़्लमन्दों का फ़र्ज़न्द और शाहान-ए-क़दीम की नसल हूँ"? BSB BSB: The princes of Zoan are mere fools; Pharaoh’s wise counselors give senseless advice. How can you say to Pharaoh, “I am one of the wise, a son of eastern kings”?
12 ULB अब तेरे 'अक़्लमन्द कहाँ है? वह तुझे ख़बर दें, अगर वह जानते होते कि रब्ब-उल-अफ़वाज ने मिस्र के हक़ में क्या इरादा किया है। BSB BSB: Where are your wise men now? Let them tell you and reveal what the LORD of Hosts has planned against Egypt.
13 ULB जु़'अन के शहज़ादे बेवक़ूफ़ बन गए हैं, नूफ़ के शहज़ादों ने धोखा खाया और जिन पर मिस्री क़बाइल का भरोसा था उन्हीं ने उनको गुमराह किया। BSB BSB: The princes of Zoan have become fools; the princes of Memphis are deceived. The cornerstones of her tribes have led Egypt astray.
14 ULB ~ख़ुदावन्द ने कजरवी की रूह उनमें डाल दी है और उन्होंने मिस्रियों को उनके सब कामों में उस मतवाले की तरह भटकाया जो उलटी करते हुए डगमगाता है। BSB BSB: The LORD has poured into her a spirit of confusion. Egypt has been led astray in all she does, as a drunkard staggers through his own vomit.
15 ULB और मिस्रियों का कोई काम न होगा, जो सिर या दुम या ख़ास-ओ-'आम कर सके। BSB BSB: There is nothing Egypt can do—head or tail, palm or reed.
16 ULB ~उस वक़्त रब्ब-उल-अफ़वाज के हाथ चलाने से जो वह मिस्र पर चलाएगा, मिस्री 'औरतों की तरह हो जायेंगे, और हैबतज़दह और परेशान होंगे। BSB BSB: In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will tremble with fear beneath the uplifted hand of the LORD of Hosts, when He brandishes it against them.
17 ULB तब यहूदाह का मुल्क मिस्र के लिए दहशत नाक होगा, हर एक जिससे उसका ज़िक्र हो ख़ौफ़ खाएगा; उस इरादे की वजह से जो रब्ब-उल-अफ़वाज ने उनके ख़िलाफ़ कर रख्खा है। BSB BSB: The land of Judah will bring terror to Egypt; whenever Judah is mentioned, Egypt will tremble over what the LORD of Hosts has planned against it.
18 ULB उस रोज़ मुल्क-ए-मिस्र में पाँच शहर होंगे जो कना'नी ज़बान बोलेंगे, और रब्ब-उल-अफ़वाज की क़सम खाएँगे; उनमें से एक का नाम शहर-ए-आफ़ताब होगा। BSB BSB: In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD of Hosts. One of them will be called the City of the Sun.
19 ULB ~उस वक़्त मुल्क-ए-मिस्र के वस्त में ख़ुदावन्द का एक मज़बह और उसकी सरहद पर ख़ुदावन्द का एक सुतून होगा। BSB BSB: In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the center of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD near her border.
20 ULB और वह मुल्क-ए-मिस्र में रब्ब-उल-अफ़वाज के लिए निशान और गवाह होगा; इसलिए कि वह सितमगरों के ज़ुल्म से ख़ुदावन्द से फ़रियाद करेंगे, और वह उनके लिए रिहाई देने वाला और हामी भेजेगा, और वह उनको रिहाई देगा। BSB BSB: It will be a sign and a witness to the LORD of Hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, He will send them a savior and defender to rescue them.
21 ULB और ख़ुदावन्द अपने आपको मिस्रियों पर ज़ाहिर करेगा और उस वक़्त मिस्री ख़ुदावन्द को पहचानेंगे, और ज़बीहे और हदिये पेश करेंगे; हाँ, वह ख़ुदावन्द के लिए मिन्नत माँनेंगे और अदा करेंगे। BSB BSB: The LORD will make Himself known to Egypt, and on that day Egypt will acknowledge the LORD. They will worship with sacrifices and offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and fulfill them.
22 ULB और ख़ुदावन्द मिस्रियों को मारेगा, मारेगा और शिफ़ा बख़्शेगा; और वह ख़ुदावन्द की तरफ़ रूजू' लाएँगे और वह उनकी दु'आ सुनेगा, और उनको सेहत बख़्शेगा। BSB BSB: And the LORD will strike Egypt with a plague; He will strike them but heal them. They will turn to the LORD, and He will hear their prayers and heal them.
23 ULB उस वक़्त मिस्र से असूर तक एक शाह-ए-राह होगी और असूरी मिस्र में आएँगें और मिस्री असूर को जाएँगे, मिस्री असूरियों के साथ मिलकर 'इबादत करेंगे। BSB BSB: In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt, and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together.
24 ULB तब इस्राईल मिस्र और असूर के साथ तीसरा होगा, और इस ज़मीन पर बरकत का ज़रिए' आ ठहरेगा। BSB BSB: In that day Israel will join a three-party alliance with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing upon the earth.
25 ULB क्यूँकि रब्ब-उल-अफ़वाज उनको बरकत बख़्शेगा और फ़रमाएगा मुबारक हो मिस्री मेरी उम्मत असूर मेरे हाथ की सन'अत और इस्राईल मेरी मीरास। BSB BSB: The LORD of Hosts will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt My people, Assyria My handiwork, and Israel My inheritance.”
