2 ULB तुम कब तक लफ़्ज़ों की जुस्तुजू में रहोगे ग़ौर कर लो फ़िर हम बोलेंगे BSB BSB: “How long until you end these speeches? Show some sense, and then we can talk.
3 ULB हम क्यूँ जानवरों की तरह समझे जाते हैं, और तुम्हारी नज़र में नापाक ठहरे हैं| BSB BSB: Why are we regarded as cattle, as stupid in your sight?
4 ULB तू जो अपने क़हर में अपने को फाड़ता है तो क्या ज़मीन तेरी वजह से उजड़ जाएगी या चट्टान अपनी जगह से हटा दी जाएगी BSB BSB: You who tear yourself in anger—should the earth be forsaken on your account, or the rocks be moved from their place?
5 ULB बल्कि शरीर का चराग़ गुल कर दिया जाएगा और उसकी आग का शो'ला बे नूर हो जाएगा BSB BSB: Indeed, the lamp of the wicked is extinguished; the flame of his fire does not glow.
6 ULB रोशनी उसके ख़ेमे में तरीकी हो जाएगी और जो चराग ऊसके उपर है, बुझा दिया जाएगा BSB BSB: The light in his tent grows dark, and the lamp beside him goes out.
7 ULB उसकी क़ुव्वत के क़दम छोटे किए जाएँगे और उसी की मसलहत उसे नेचे गिराएगी| BSB BSB: His vigorous stride is shortened, and his own schemes trip him up.
8 ULB क्यूँकि वह अपने ही पाँव से जाल में फँसता है और फँदों पर चलता है BSB BSB: For his own feet lead him into a net, and he wanders into its mesh.
9 ULB ~ दाम उसकी एड़ी को पकड़ेगा, और जाल उसको फँसा लेगा| BSB BSB: A trap seizes his heel; a snare grips him.
10 ULB कमन्द उसके लिए ज़मीन में छिपा दी गई है, और~फंदा उसके लिए ~रास्ते में रख्खा गया है| BSB BSB: A noose is hidden in the ground, and a trap lies in his path.
11 ULB दहशत नाक चीज़ें हर तरफ़ से उसे डराएँगी, और उसके दर पे होकर उसे भगाएंगी| BSB BSB: Terrors frighten him on every side and harass his every step.
12 ULB उसका ज़ोर भूक का मारा होगा और आफ़त उसके शामिल-ए-हाल रहेगी| BSB BSB: His strength is depleted, and calamity is ready at his side.
13 ULB वह उसके जिस्म के आ'ज़ा को खा जाएगी बल्कि मौत का पहलौठा उसके आ'ज़ा को चट कर जाएगी| BSB BSB: It devours patches of his skin; the firstborn of death devours his limbs.
14 ULB वह अपने ख़ेमे से जिस पर उसको भरोसा है उखाड़ दिया जाएगा, ~और दहशत के बादशाह के पास पहुंचाया जाएगा| BSB BSB: He is torn from the shelter of his tent and is marched off to the king of terrors.
15 ULB ~और वह जो उसका नहीं, उसके ख़ेमे में बसेगा; उसके मकान पर गंधक छितराई जाएगी। BSB BSB: Fire resides in his tent; burning sulfur rains down on his dwelling.
16 ULB ~नीचे उसकी जड़ें सुखाई जाएँगी, और ऊपर उसकी डाली काटी जाएगी। BSB BSB: The roots beneath him dry up, and the branches above him wither away.
17 ULB उसकी यादगार ज़मीन पर से मिट जाएगी, और कूचों' में उसका नाम न होगा। BSB BSB: The memory of him perishes from the earth, and he has no name in the land.
18 ULB वह रोशनी से अंधेरे में हँका दिया जाएगा, और दुनिया से खदेड़ दिया जाएगा। BSB BSB: He is driven from light into darkness and is chased from the inhabited world.
19 ULB उसके लोगों में उसका न कोई बेटा होगा न पोता, और जहाँ वह टिका हुआ था, वहाँ कोई उसका बाक़ी न रहेगा। BSB BSB: He has no offspring or posterity among his people, no survivor where he once lived.
20 ULB वह जो पीछे आनेवाले हैं, उसके दिन पर हैरान होंगे, जैसे वह जो पहले हुए डर गए थे। BSB BSB: Those in the west are appalled at his fate, while those in the east tremble in horror.
21 ULB नारास्तों के घर यक़ीनन ऐसे ही हैं, और जो ख़ुदा को नहीं पहचानता उसकी जगह ऐसी ही है। BSB BSB: Surely such is the dwelling of the wicked and the place of one who does not know God.”
