2 ULB उसने अपनी माँ से कहा, "चाँदी के वह ग्यारह सौ सिक्के जो तेरे पास से लिए गए थे, और जिनके बारे में तूने ला'नत भेजी और मुझे भी यही सुना कर कहा;~इसलिए देख वह चाँदी मेरे पास है, मैंने उसको ले लिया था।” उसकी माँ ने कहा, "मेरे बेटे को ख़ुदावन्द की तरफ़ से बरकत मिले।" BSB BSB: said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you and about which I heard you utter a curse—I have the silver here with me; I took it.” Then his mother said, “Blessed be my son by the LORD!”
3 ULB और उसने चाँदी के वह ग्यारह सौ सिक्के अपनी माँ को लौटा दिए, तब उसकी माँ ने कहा, "मैं इस चाँदी को अपने बेटे की ख़ातिर अपने हाथ से ख़ुदावन्द के लिए मुक़द्दस किए देती हूँ, ताकि वह एक बुत तराशा हुआ और एक ढाला हुआ बनाए~इसलिए, अब मैं इसको तुझे लौटा देती हूँ।” BSB BSB: And when he had returned the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, she said, “I wholly dedicate the silver to the LORD for my son’s benefit, to make a graven image and a molten idol. Therefore I will now return it to you.”
4 ULB लेकिन जब उसने वह नक़दी अपनी माँ को लौटा दी, तो उसकी माँ ने चाँदी के दो सौ सिक्के लेकर उनको ढालने वाले को दिया, जिसने उनसे एक तराशा हुआ और एक ढाला हुआ बुत बनाया; और वह मीकाह के घर में रहे। BSB BSB: So he returned the silver to his mother, and she took two hundred shekels of silver and gave them to a silversmith, who made them into a graven image and a molten idol. And they were placed in the house of Micah.
5 ULB और इस शख़्स मीकाह के यहाँ एक बुत ख़ाना था, और उसने एक अफ़ूद और तराफ़ीम को बनवाया; और अपने बेटों में से एक को मख़्सूस किया जो उसका काहिन हुआ। BSB BSB: Now this man Micah had a shrine, and he made an ephod and some household idols, and ordained one of his sons as his priest.
6 ULB उन दिनों इस्राईल में कोई बादशाह न था, और हर शख़्स जो कुछ उसकी नज़र में अच्छा मा'लूम होता वही करता था। BSB BSB: In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
7 ULB और बैतलहम यहूदाह में यहूदाह के घराने का एक जवान था जो लावी था; यह वहीं टिका हुआ था। BSB BSB: And there was a young Levite from Bethlehem in Judah who had been residing within the clan of Judah.
8 ULB यह शख़्स उस शहर या'नी बैतलहम-ए-यहूदाह से निकला, कि और कहीं जहाँ जगह मिले जा टिके। तब वह सफ़र करता हुआ इफ़्राईम के पहाड़ी मुल्क में मीकाह के घर आ निकला। BSB BSB: This man left the city of Bethlehem in Judah to settle where he could find a place. And as he traveled, he came to Micah’s house in the hill country of Ephraim.
9 ULB और मीकाह ने उससे कहा, "तू कहाँ से आता है?" उसने उससे कहा, "मैं बैतलहम-ए-यहूदाह का एक लावी हूँ, और निकला हूँ कि जहाँ कहीं जगह मिले वहीं रहूँ।” BSB BSB: “Where are you from?” Micah asked him. “I am a Levite from Bethlehem in Judah,” he replied, “and I am on my way to settle wherever I can find a place.”
10 ULB मीकाह ने उससे कहा, "मेरे साथ रह जा, और मेरा बाप और काहिन हो; मैं तुझे चाँदी के दस सिक्के सालाना और एक जोड़ा कपड़ा और खाना दूँगा।" तब वह लावी अन्दर चला गया। BSB BSB: “Stay with me,” Micah said to him, “and be my father and priest, and I will give you ten shekels of silver per year, a suit of clothes, and your provisions.” So the Levite went in
11 ULB और वह उस आदमी के साथ रहने पर राज़ी हुआ; और वह जवान उसके लिए ऐसा ही था जैसा उसके अपने बेटों में से एक बेटा। BSB BSB: and agreed to stay with him, and the young man became like a son to Micah.
12 ULB और मीकाह ने उस लावी को मख़्सूस किया, और वह जवान उसका काहिन बना और मीकाह के घर में रहने लगा। BSB BSB: Micah ordained the Levite, and the young man became his priest and lived in his house.
13 ULB तब मीकाह ने कहा, "मैं अब जानता हूँ कि ख़ुदावन्द मेरा भला करेगा, क्यूँकि एक लावी मेरा काहिन है।" BSB BSB: Then Micah said, “Now I know that the LORD will be good to me, because a Levite has become my priest.”
