2 ULB और पीलातुस ने उससे पूछा, “क्या तू यहूदियों का बादशाह है?” उसने जवाब में उस से कहा,“तू ख़ुद कहता है|” BSB BSB: So Pilate questioned Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied.
3 ULB और सरदार काहिन उस पर बहुत सी बातों का इल्ज़ाम लगाते रहे| BSB BSB: And the chief priests began to accuse Him of many things.
4 ULB पीलातुस ने उस से दोबारा सवाल करके ये कहा“तू कुछ जवाब नहीं देता देख ये तुझ पर कितनी बातों का इल्ज़ाम लगाते है।” BSB BSB: Then Pilate questioned Him again, “Have You no answer? Look how many charges they are bringing against You!”
5 ULB ईसा' ने फिर भी कुछ जवाब न दिया यहाँ तक कि पीलातुस ने ताअ'ज्जुब किया। BSB BSB: But to Pilate’s amazement, Jesus made no further reply.
6 ULB और वो 'ईद पर एक क़ैदी को जिसके लिए लोग अर्ज़ करते थे छोड़ दिया करता था। BSB BSB: Now it was Pilate’s custom at the feast to release to the people a prisoner of their choosing.
7 ULB और बर'अब्बा नाम एक आदमी उन बाग़ियों के साथ क़ैद में पड़ा था जिन्होंने बग़ावत में ख़ून किया था। BSB BSB: And a man named Barabbas was imprisoned with the rebels who had committed murder during the insurrection.
8 ULB और भीड़ उस पर चढ़कर उस से अर्ज़ करने लगी कि जो तेरा दस्तूर है वो हमारे लिए कर। BSB BSB: So the crowd went up and began asking Pilate to keep his custom.
9 ULB पीलातुस ने उन्हें ये जवाब दिया, “क्या तुम चाहते हो कि मैं तुम्हारी ख़ातिर यहूदियों के बादशाह को छोड़ दूँ?” BSB BSB: “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” Pilate asked.
10 ULB क्यूँकि उसे मा'लूम था कि सरदार काहिन ने इसको हसद से मेरे हवाले किया है। BSB BSB: For he knew it was out of envy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over.
11 ULB मगर सरदार काहिनों ने भीड़ को उभारा ताकि पीलातुस उनकी ख़ातिर बर'अब्बा ही को छोड़ दे। BSB BSB: But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release Barabbas to them instead.
12 ULB “पीलातुस ने दोबारा उनसे कहा फिर जिसे तुम यहूदियों का बादशाह कहते हो?उसे मैं क्या करूँ।” BSB BSB: So Pilate asked them again, “What then do you want me to do with the One you call the King of the Jews?”
13 ULB वो फिर चिल्लाए“वो मस्लूब हो।” BSB BSB: And they shouted back, “Crucify Him!”
14 ULB पीलातुस ने उनसे कहा “क्यूँ? उस ने क्या बुराई की है?”वो और भी चिल्लाए “वो मस्लूब हो!” BSB BSB: “Why?” asked Pilate. “What evil has He done?” But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify Him!”
15 ULB पीलातुस ने लोगों को ख़ुश करने के इरादे से उनके लिए बर'अब्बा को छोड़ दिया और ईसा' को कोड़े लगवाकर हवाले किया कि मस्लूब हो। BSB BSB: And wishing to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be crucified.
16 ULB और सिपाही उसको उस सहन में ले गए, जो प्रैतोरियुन कहलाता है और सारी पलटन को बुला लाए। BSB BSB: Then the soldiers led Jesus away into the palace (that is, the Praetorium) and called the whole company together.
17 ULB और उन्हों ने उसे इर्ग़वानी चोग़ा पहनाया और काँटों का ताज बना कर उसके सिर पर रख्खा। BSB BSB: They dressed Him in a purple robe, twisted together a crown of thorns, and set it on His head.
18 ULB और उसे सलाम करने लगे“ऐ यहूदियों के बादशाह! आदाब।” BSB BSB: And they began to salute Him: “Hail, King of the Jews!”
19 ULB और वो उसके सिर पर सरकंडा मारते और उस पर थूकते और घुटने टेक टेक कर उसे सज्दा करते रहे। BSB BSB: They kept striking His head with a staff and spitting on Him. And they knelt down and bowed before Him.
20 ULB और जब उसे ठठ्ठों में उड़ा चुके तो उस पर से इर्ग़वानी चोग़ा उतार कर उसी के कपड़े उसे पहनाए फिर उसे मस्लूब करने को बाहर ले गए। BSB BSB: After they had mocked Him, they removed the purple robe and put His own clothes back on Him. Then they led Him out to crucify Him.
21 ULB और शमा'ऊन नाम एक कुरेनी आदमी सिकन्दर और रुफ़स का बाप देहात से आते हुए उधर से गुजरा उन्होंने उसे बेग़ार में पकड़ा कि उसकी सलीब उठाए। BSB BSB: Now Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and the soldiers forced him to carry the cross of Jesus.
22 ULB और वो उसे मुक़ाम'ए गुलगुता पर लाए जिसका तरजुमा(खोपड़ी की जगह) है। BSB BSB: They brought Jesus to a place called Golgotha, which means The Place of the Skull.
23 ULB और मुर मिली होई मय उसे देने लगे मगर उसने न ली। BSB BSB: There they offered Him wine mixed with myrrh, but He did not take it.
25 ULB और पहर दिन चढ़ा था जब उन्होंने उसको मस्लूब किया। BSB BSB: It was the third hour when they crucified Him.
26 ULB और उसका इल्ज़ाम लिख कर उसके ऊपर लगा दिया गया:“यहूदियों का बादशाह|” BSB BSB: And the charge inscribed against Him read: THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27 ULB और उन्होंने उसके साथ दो डाकू, एक उसकी दाहिनी और एक उसकी बाईं तरफ़ मस्लूब किया। BSB BSB: Along with Jesus, they crucified two robbers, one on His right and one on His left.
28 ULB तब इस मज़्मून का वो लिखा हुआ कि वो बदकारों में गिना गया पूरा हुआ BSB BSB: Not in the BSB
29 ULB “और राह चलनेवाले सिर हिला हिला कर उस पर लानत करते और कहते थे वाह मक़दिस के ढाने वाले और तीन दिन में बनाने वाले। BSB BSB: And those who passed by heaped abuse on Him, shaking their heads and saying, “Aha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,
30 ULB सलीब पर से उतर कर अपने आप को बचा!” BSB BSB: come down from the cross and save Yourself!”
31 ULB “इसी तरह सरदार काहिन भी फ़क़ीहों के साथ मिलकर आपस में ठटठे से कहते थे इसने औरों को बचाया अपने आप को नहीं बचा सकता। BSB BSB: In the same way, the chief priests and scribes mocked Him among themselves, saying, “He saved others, but He cannot save Himself!
32 ULB इस्राइल का बादशाह मसीह; अब सलीब पर से उतर आए ताकि हम देख कर ईमान लाएँ और जो उसके साथ मस्लूब हुए थे वो उस पर लानतान करते थे।” BSB BSB: Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, so that we may see and believe!” And even those who were crucified with Him berated Him.
34 ULB तीसरे पहर ईसा' बड़ी आवाज़ से चिल्लाया,“इलोही, इलोही लमा शबक़तनी?” जिसका तर्जुमा है, “ऐ मेरे ख़ुदा, ऐ मेरे खु़दा, तूने मुझे क्यूँ छोड़ दिया?” BSB BSB: At the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” 35 ULB जो पास खड़े थे उन में से कुछ ने ये सुनकर कहा“देखो ये एलियाह को बुलाता है।” BSB BSB: When some of those standing nearby heard this, they said, “Behold, He is calling Elijah.”
36 ULB और एक ने दौड़ कर सोकते को सिरके में डबोया और सरकंडे पर रख कर उसे चुसाया और कहा, “ठहर जाओ देखें तो एलियाह उसको उतारने आता है या नहीं।” BSB BSB: And someone ran and filled a sponge with sour wine. He put it on a reed and held it up for Jesus to drink, saying, “Leave Him alone. Let us see if Elijah comes to take Him down.”
38 ULB और हैकल का पर्दा उपर से नीचे तक फट कर दो टुकड़े हो गया। BSB BSB: And the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
39 ULB और जो सिपाही उसके सामने खड़ा था उसने उसे यूँ जान देते हुए देखकर कहा “बेशक़ ये आदमी ख़ुदा का बेटा था” BSB BSB: When the centurion standing there in front of Jesus saw how He had breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”
40 ULB कई औरतें दूर से देख रही थी उन में मरियम मगदलिनी और छोटे या'क़ूब और योसेस की माँ मरियम और सलोमी थीं BSB BSB: And there were also women watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome.
41 ULB जब वो गलील में था ये उसके पीछे हो लीं और उसकी ख़िदमत करती थीं और और भी बहुत सी औरतें थीं जो उसके साथ यरूशलीम से आई थीं। BSB BSB: These women had followed Jesus and ministered to Him while He was in Galilee, and there were many other women who had come up to Jerusalem with Him.
42 ULB जब शाम हो गई तो इसलिए कि तैयारी का दिन था जो सब्त से एक दिन पहले होता है। BSB BSB: Now it was already evening. Since it was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath),
43 ULB अरिमतियाह का रहने वाला यूसुफ़ आया जो इज़्ज़तदार मुशीर और ख़ुद भी ख़ुदा की बादशाही का मुन्तज़िर था और उसने हिम्मत से पीलातुस के पास जाकर ईसा' की लाश माँगी BSB BSB: Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent Council member who himself was waiting for the kingdom of God, boldly went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus.
45 ULB जब सिपाही से हाल मा'लूम कर लिया तो लाश यूसुफ़ को दिला दी। BSB BSB: When Pilate had confirmed it with the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
47 ULB और मरियम मग़दलिनी और योसेस की माँ मरियम देख रही थी कि वो कहाँ रख्खा गया है। BSB BSB: Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph saw where His body was placed.
